If you have the Amazon Appstore on your BlackBerry 10 handset you'll want to hit it up today and grab 'today's free app of the day'. Normally costing a few bucks you can get the full version of Orbital for absolutely no hard cash - nice.

I've put the game on my Z3 this morning and it's a real gem. Colorful, action packed and somewhat addictive. The game is all about destroying orbs and there are various styles of game so you're not just limited to one, which always goes down well.

On other platforms Orbital has won numerous awards so I'd urge you to give it a go. I'm not sure if this one will work on the Q Series devices but if you try it please feel free to sound off in the comments.

That's the heads up over. Enjoy.

I was just few minutes ago looking at it and thinking that this could be fun. Now I read this. Downloading.

Sounds good, but such a shame, I can see it coming the future is almost upon us. "Amazon App of the Day" editorials everyday as the native bb10 experience becomes a memory from the past.

Classifieds Canada and GeoYeo B4B Apps all the way!!!

Yep, I've had this on my BlackBerry World bookmarks list for some time and it was the next game I was going to buy.

I would like to see BlackBerry World start a Free App of the day to compete with this.

I dunno if i'll ever use the Amazon app since it asks for permission to store my data. Dont know how that will help Amazon but i'd rather keep my pics and documents to myself than with Amazon.

Could not agree more with you. However, being that we all visit certain sites, I am certain one piece of our data has been compromised without us knowing. At least you're not on an Android, right

It stores your data in the sense that it keeps a record of your apps, and when you delete an app you can re install it and also it offers to update your apps, so it would have to store some of your data to function.

Search for "snap" in the forum. No Google services, but apps without are running ;)

So far, Candy Crush from their doesn't work for me but, the other few apps I have downloaded from there do work. Citrix Receiver for BlackBerry never worked for me at my job, and the app from Amazon didn't work either. It does, however, work from the Google Play Store via Snap. :)

Candy Crush from Amazon app store works perfectly. Just updated it to include up to level 625 as well.

It never worked for me until I installed 10.1.something. Then it ran great -- for a long time. Then one day, after installing the latest Candy Crush update, it wouldn't run any more. I reverted to the previous version of the game, but no luck. I reloaded the OS, but no luck. I've tried various older versions, every new update, etc. Nothing. I have been Candy Crush-free for several months now, and have survived the loss handily.

Works well on Q10 (best if set the Android bar to "not show" by swiping down from top bezel).

Frosty white Q10/

Great free game for my BlackDroid Z10 to run.

Whatever happened to that old keyboard phone maker BlackBerry? ; ) in action!

I would buy this game over the Android port. It's built for Blackberry seal of approval and playing the free Android port, definitely a fun game!

The version in BB World is a native app. I say support the developer and show that it is still worth developing for BlackBerry is still a valid option.

I don't see why everyone's complaining about. It works flawlessly on my Q5 and the native version is €2.69 whereas the Amazon app is FREE. This is a no-brainer. I used to love this game on my iPhone and I just could not remember the name.. until I saw it here on Crackberry! Thanks for the heads up James!

It works on my Z30 but comparing it to the native version of this game, there is a definite performance hit on this version.

If you want it for free, go for it, but if you miss today's deal and want to purchase, head on over to BBW.
