I can't say I've ever played Fruit Ninja up until today. Sure, I've had my fair share of Android devices but somehow I must have missed out on this one, although I certainly know the name and how popular it's been.
If you're rocking a BlackBerry 10 device you can pick up Fruit Ninja for free today as it's Amazons featured freebie and yes, we love them for that. I tested the game out on my Passport and all was good. It will of course run fine on the Z10, Z3 & Z30 but if you have a Q series device and load this one up please let us know if it works okay? As I'm sure you are aware, some Android games just don't work properly on the Q10 or Q5 due to the screen dimensions.
If you've not heard of Fruit Ninja before it's a simple, yet addictive concept where you use gestures to slice the fruit that flies onto the screen, but you need to ensure you don't slice the many bombs that will also appear. The game play is great, it's wonderfully colorful and you can't beat free of course.
If you are lucky enough to own a Passport or P'9983 then you'll already have the Amazon Appstore pre-installed. If you're not on BlackBerry 10.3 and you've not used the store before to download Android apps you'll find full instructions in the following link:

Check out PAC-MAN 256 on BlackBerry 10
He's a lovable chap is Pac-Man. I'm old enough to remember when he was first around and many, many, many years later he's still giving us some gaming pleasure. Luckily we can now do this on BlackBerry 10 smartphones rather than a 100 kilo machine like in the 'good old days'. Anyway, that's enough about me. Pac-Man 256 comes to us from the same developer who created Crossy Road a...
Free from Amazon today
As the post title suggest, Amazon have offered Cut the Rope: Time Travel for free before. That was back in April this year, so if you missed the opportunity to download it then, you may want to take a look now? Although us BlackBerry 10 users can get our own fix of Cut the Rope in BlackBerry World, you won't find the Time Travel version there. For us it's Android or nothing and...
Skyward - Don't get it from BlackBerry World!
It's pretty unheard of that we steer people away from downloading an application/game from BlackBerry World, but in this case I thought that it was well worth doing exactly that. Let me explain..... Like many BlackBerry 10 users, one of my morning rituals is to jump into BlackBerry World and see what's new. And top of the 'New Arrivals' list was a game called Skyward. Although the...
Chimpact - Free today from Amazon!
What better way than to start the working week than an awesome free game from Amazon. Chimpact is the Amazon Appstore's free app of the day today and if you've been 'Team BlackBerry' for a few years it will probably ring a bell. Cast your mind back to 2012 and the good old trusty BlackBerry PlayBook. That's when and where Chimpact first made an appearance on CrackBerry and if you...
