I am putting in the code, and it says "The coupon you attempted to use is a one-time-use coupon, and you have already used it on a previous order, therefore we cannot accept this coupon again."

Its the first time im requesting a code, any info on why this is happening would be helpful.

I used the code at check out but it didn't zero out my balance. Instead it charged me the $14.99, I thought this was suppose to be free! Are they going to credit my account later. I emailed Cellunlock twice, am waiting for a response.

I did the same mistake. After entering the code, missed to click the tiny "APPLY" button below it. Just login back and clear the "SHOPPING CART" and try again.

Got my code in less than 24hrs, Unfortunately mine code didn't work. I E-Mailed CellUnlock, I am sure they will get everything straightened out for me.

A few folks commented on the lack of a Verizon unlock give away by saying it was OK since you can just call up Verizon and tell them you are going to Europe and ask them to unlock your phone. I tried and here is what Verizon CS wrote back:

"We do not unlock our phones so our customers may use them on
other carriers. We do offer the viable option of you using our SIM card, which we have pre-installed on the device. If, however, you choose to insert another carrier's SIM and unlock the device, that is up to you. I will say, however, that if use of another carrier's SIM unfortunately fries your device, this act voids the warranty."

When I checked out the total said zero and didn't ask for me to pay in any way. When I received an e-mail from the sales team it said my total was $19.99. Anyone else have the same problem?

Actually, I got the opposite on my email.

I used the code, but since I'm VZW, I could only get the price down to $7.00.
On the email I got, which has the code, it said it was free, but I assume it a standard email sent out to anyone who used the codes.

The very bottom should show your order summary.
If you weren't asked for any payment info, I wouldn't really worry about it.

Seriously.... aren't the unlock codes the same for VZW devices as they are for other Blackberrys? And wouldn't it be JUST AS EASY for Cellunlock to offer the service to VZW customers? Even the blurb at the top says "Has ALL Crackberry users covered for the next 48 hours" -- And then you read and find out no Love for Verizon? That doesn't fit in with my definition of "All Crackberry Users" as alot of us are with VZW.

For those that say "VZW unlock codes are FREE"... well yeah, as long as you're one of the LUCKY ones that don't have to call back 10 times to get someone willing to do it. Reading through the Verizon Storm unlock thread, it looks like you've got about a 50/50 chance of getting a code from Verizon without a hassle...

My order number is 17*** so no doubt they are truly overwhelmed.

My question, which I have not seen any answer to in this comments area, are there any possible ramifications to unlocking a phone that is under warranty and only a month old? What about possible service by the retailer/cell phone service provider where you got your phone from?

Other than the fact you can sell a phone easily, or if traveling you can use a local sim card, what other advantages are there to unlocking your cell phone?

Wow, tygersclaw! You must have placed your order a while ago since your order # starts with 1. I am guessing they are not going in any kind of order because there are people who have #'s higher than mine, but have received their code.

As for benefits to unlocking, I want to use mine overseas. Other than that, I am not sure.

Actually, I believe CU.net posted a comment stating that they process orders in the order that they come in.

You guys have to remember that they're paying customers also and I'm sure they're higher in priority than customers getting a free code.

I got my code in 3 hours, but I could only get a discounted price and not the free one; so I was probably on the "paying" customer list.

Just hang in there guys, I'm sure they'll get everyone sorted out soon... and remember, its free!!!.... So no complaining lol

I went to the site for ATT units(Bold) and entered code CRACKATT that was supposed to change any charge to zero. THAT DID NOT HAPPEN. I now have an order #12325 with a confirmation Email that has a $14.99 charge. Today I received an Email with the code numbers to activate the unlock. (I will not activate if there is a charge).

I have contacted Cellulock on the confirmation Email order and a "contact" Email site on their website stating the above problem. Have not received any response. Can anyone at Crackberry help me with this situation.

I have been waiting around for awhile to for the unlock code happen to me at checkout but will see what they will do to accomodate our Berries. My order was March 12, 2009
Order#: 9297 12 midnight on Wednesday so I think they are really backed up unless I am wrong hehehe... If you look at your order on your Cellunlock.net check on your order to review that it says order processing on status so I am thinking they are working on it. If they were really charging you they would first have to collect money payment from you before they rendered service to you they way I see it.

FWIW, My order number is 674x, and I placed it on 3/11/2009 at 10:xxPM. Unfortunately, I did not see the instructions quote above until after I placed my order and submitted my EMEI in the non-prescribed format. My fault.

Since the offer is a free one, I'm certainly not in a position to kvetch about any delays, since all it cost me was 3 minutes or so of my time.

I ordered my CellUnlock code the first night it was offered, received my receipt but never received the code. I've sent two emails to them asking about it with no response. Free is great but since I've never received what they committed to providing I'm too impressed. Guess I will just ask ATT to give me the code for free which they will do.

The fact that this free does not excuse the company from not following through. The company should be embarrassed at whats happening. Communication is key and they simply do not communicate. This should have helped them tremendously by giving them some exposure. What it did was expose how bad there customer service is. 15000 requests is a lot but they should have considered this. I for one will never use there service or use them for anything....

I have a Verizon Storm, May I have a unlock Code for that?
I called verizon and told me they could unlock it because the phone was just activated last February, they will just unlock my phone after 6 months. =(
