In the spirit of the holiday season, Pootermobile has developed a theme for you free of charge. Instead of the typical snow or santa type theme, they built it so that it could be used at any time of the year. The theme features a weather slot, hidden calendar and transitions and is very wallpaper friendly. I also really love the simple text used (instead of icons) on the homescreen that we previously saw in their Sheath theme. It really does give your device a simple and classy look.
Meridian is a very good looking and simplistic theme. Best of all it is free! Head on over to the CrackBerry App Store and download it for your 8900, 9000, 9630, 9650, 9550, or 9700 running OS 5 or your 9800.

It's a free theme. No contest. Thanks for reading though.
On another note, I came across & downloaded this last night. I'm liking it a lot! Clean and quick. Love the drop down menu. Great holiday gift! Thank you!!!

Theme is pretty cool. Some things I don't like though is now my phone lock button isn't working now, my torch is kinda slower and when u change the wallpaper,it doesn't carry over to the various screens. I really like the simplicity and all, just those things make it a little bothersome.

Also just noticed when I tilt my torch into landscape, the home screen switches to the menu. Fairly irritating. I think this theme wasn't really designed for the torch although it is (I would say) somewhat compatible

There isn't an official Torch theme builder out there yet. So all themes for the Torch will be glitchy

You can use any of the many lock screen tools out there to fix this. I used QL to lock my home screen which made this problem go away.

These themes are all using the still Beta BlackBerry® Theme Studio this is why there are still something that need to be added before the Studio goes final and hopefully some of these problems are fixed.
One thing I would like is the ability to hit back or end call to remove the menus that are on the screen. If I go to the today page i want to hit back to go to a blank screen. again mostly a limitation of the Studio it was designed in. Great theme though love it!

Easily one of the best free theme, although still with some bug as mentioned by others before.

I think its really nice for a free theme for sure. Thank you very much for putting the effort into making it then giving it for free!

Anyone know where I can get the 360x480 wallpaper used in this theme?
