Free BerryWeather Add-on: WeatherPeek From Bellshare

Bellshare has just released a pretty cool add on for their popular BerryWeather application. The newly released WeatherPeek allows you to access BerryWeather information at a glance by just simply setting a convenience key on your device.
When set, a pop up will show up and be displayed. Pressing the SPACE key will dismiss the popup and you'll be back to whatever it was you are doing. Pretty cool and nice integration. Although I can't see myself using it a lot since I personally have BerryWeather as my wallpaper, but for those that don't this could prove helpful.

Pretty useless unless you have QuickLaunch or a free convenience key.

I have berryweather installed and when I open this add-on it says I need to install berryweather? O well, cool idea isn't working for me. Reset device and everything.

You need BerryWeather 2.2 installed on your device.

Yea I have 2.2.2. Is it working for you?

This is actually a great idea. Now you don't have to have the weather on the home screen. Now o wish they could get the 6 day forecast widget as an option on the home screen.

Awesome new feature! I <3 Bellshare apps cause they r so useful!
I have the BerryWeather Home screen wallpaper, so i figured i might not use this add-on so much, but boy was I wrong! This comes in handy when I DON'T want to leave what I'm doing just to check the weather. Very cool stuff!
I'm a happy Bellshare customer :)

How do you get BerryWeather to be your home screen wallpaper? I just have the icon, and for the life of me...even after running through their help menu....cannot figure out how to configure this app to be the wallpaper.
Thanks for your help!

I Don't see a reason for this when you can set up the "w" key to pull up BeWeather under BerryWeather Settings>Homescreen/Notifications Icon>Add(w Key Shortcut to Title)

Takes less time to load. Very nice presentation on screen and easy to dismiss and still have whatever you were working on there.
sheldonbk Apr 13, 2010 at 9:08 am
Very nice little freebie. Definitely makes BerryWeather better

My 'W' is also my "1" key which takes me right into my voicemail. How do you assign it to another letter?

This is a nice add-on. But like others have said I have no need for it. I have the w key short enabled which brings the app up speedy fast on my Bold 9700. Maybe its slower on other devices

Don't forget that Storm owners don't readily have those shortcut keys on hand (i.e. touchscreen), so WP could be useful.
Great miniapp Bellshare.

PRUSUCKS make sure you change Enable Home Screen Dialing to NO then the W key will open BerryWeather and if you hold it down it will dial your VM still.

Nice app, wish I get one too :)

I'm using it with Quicklaunch as the first item on the list. Two quick taps of my right button and it opens, perfect.
