too bad im not using this app anymore, take lot of space memory for my bb 9700 os 6, im using socialscope to check-in.. Hope i can get this app when i upgrade my device to a better one. :)

I wonder why we haven't seen any of the integrated BBM goodness in any of these builds. I saw the video about the integration and it only took them about 2 days to insert and refine. So why haven't we seen that come out yet? That is my question.

Curious why the foursquare didn't support the wifi,can't check in,always loading,this because of network or what?

For me, Foursquare is still not detecting location properly and consistently. Even on the clearest of days, my location is not found most of the time while BlackBerry Traffic, Google Maps, BlackBerry Maps and Poynt all find my location within seconds of opening the application.

Foursquare hasn't worked right for me on my Torch since version 1.9.85
Always says I'm 1000 metres minimum from clposest locatiion I'm at!
Plus it never shows any location I have ever checked into!

GPS still can't find my position. I'm still 25 kilometers away from where I stand. Other GPS apps find my position in a few seconds.

this version broke my foursquare...i can't check in or see recent check ins....pop-ups of others check ins still work...

This build seems to lock in pretty good for me. Seems like the longer you wait to hit the check in button the better it works? Today was the first day it ever locked on my work location- within 23 feet. I'm thinking 2.0 will have the BBM integration..I hope!

I can only hope Foursquare is working on this! Torch 9800 users STILL cannot get a GPS fix and I've duplicated this on 4 other Torch 9800's as well.

Make no mistakke about it, THIS IS A FOURSQUARE PROBLEM, not an issue with your BB.

The last release that worked ona Torch 9800 was 1.9.90

I tried Facebook Place on Torch 9800... it doesn't give me any better location than Foursquare 1.9.96. Obviously seems BB Maps can give me exact point.

This STILL doesn't work for my VZW 9650 OS 6.524. I try to logon BB FS app says invalid user name/password. The SAME user/pw that works just fine in iOS with my ipod Touch. Epic fail FourSquare. Deleting.

One improvement that I noticed and which mirrors the iPod Touch build of Foursquare is the "Specials Nearby" feature which displays all the specials when you click "Check-in" just bellow the search bar. For example, I am at my house right now, and I wanted to test the latest update: I clicked "Check-in" and a bright orange bar appears (almost instantly) with "25 Specials Nearby". This is definitely a nice feature to have as before it would only show you specials once you selected the place you wanted to check-in to.

have sent them many emails telling them that many of us Torch users are having issues but no reply yet! No love for us Torch users i guess! How rude! Fix this FOURSQUARE!!!!!

Well its been some time now and still no fix for us Torch users. Everyone I know that has a Torch is having same issues. Disapointed in Foursquare to say the least. Going to uninstall it. Somebody let me know when there is an update and maybe I will reinstall.

Ever since I put FourSquare on my BB Torch, it freezes up. Ive uninstalled and reinstalled it, took it to AT&T and they say its a BB App problem... so does that mean that i cant use it. I have to watch as people become MAYORS and get badges and I can't join in on the fun and the specials that certain places have?
Does anyone have any solutions to this?
Please let me know.
