Foursquare For BlackBerry Gets Bumped To Version 1.5

If you are a badge carrying Foursquare user this should bring a smile to your face. Foursquare for BlackBerry is now sitting at version 1.5 for users to download. The addition of the ability to add friends and tips has been put into version 1.5. Both items have been requested for a while now so nice to see that Foursquare is adding these things to the mix. Alas, the dark cloud surrounding this update is in what it didn't bring with it. That being a BlackBerry Storm dedicated version, while most users can make do with the current version, it would be nice to see a release that was meant for the touchscreen UI on Storm series devices.

I also am testing the Storm beta version. And it's so nice to be able to click all the links and menus. It's in the works and it works great!

To make easier to find venues close to you.

It's a location based social game of sorts. If it didn't know your location, then you could just check-in willy-nilly to any venue you wanted from the comfort of your own home.

To Confirm,
They are working on a storm version, but it is still in beta. Threat not storm users!

None of these for me, at least they are working on a storm version, hope it comes out before I get the 9700 in march.

Why do they not release the beta storm app? We all understand what a beta is, and I would really like to be able to use foursquare. It is rather hard to pimp the service out and get my friends to use it if I am unable to show it off in action.
Come on foursquare, give us some love.

i was gonna get this but i live in NL Canada, is there a map to see if there are any places on the app around my area?

This app stinks. SocialScope does a way better job than this. FourSquare App takes a long time for this app to officially load: from the time you open it (Load the app), to the time its logging you in, to the time you check in. It just takes around 5 minutes until you actually are able to check in. It's annoying.

Don't share your current location on the net!
