You should definitely give it a try. You don't even have to create an account to use it. It's an amazing way to explore your surroundings. Find places to go, hours, menus, tips, photos, and let Explore (the recommendation engine) find things for you. When you sign up you can check in places and leave tips, but explore will also get better based on your habits when you check in and will cater to your preferences.

It amazing one when you are about to step in somewhere and you don't have that background about what you must try and what to avoid.

Red Z10 were given out to developers who sent back their Dev Alpha units. They're cool but I still prefer the rubber back found on the black model personally. It's nice and grippy and won't slip out of the hand easily like the Red and White models. I stick with my Black model.

In the UK if you synch your Amex to foursquare you often get great specials at big stores when you check in eg spend £50 and get a £25 credit on your Amex bill. I use it all the time
