If you're among the hardcore foursquare users out there, chances are you've already spotted the update and installed it already but just in case you're only a casual user, here's a reminder. Foursquare v5.5.5 is now available in BlackBerry World with a few bug and GPS fixes and UI changes for those of you using touch devices. Nothing drastically different but an update is an update and bug fixes are always good. Looking for download? You can grab it below and be sure to let us know if you spot any fixes.

I updated and mine works perfectly. Try deleting the app, then battery pull followed by re-install.

What BB are you using? I am using a Curve 8520, think that has got anything to do with it?
Will try deleting and hard reset this evening.
Thanks!

Never works.
Install it - got through the registration process then try and logon. Always says invalid username/password.

Is your password correct? The registration flow sometimes keeps the first letter of your password capitalized and the passwords are case sensitive. I know that has screwed me up a few times.

yep - tried the upp/lower case.
Went through the password reset routine - no user with that name exists.
I'll try one more registration try then give it 0 stars and delete.

Don't give it a bad rating just because it won't work. It could be your carrier that is blocking access to it, or if you're on BES, the IT policy.

ok - information retyped. Get the popup about transfer of information. press ok and takes me straight to the logon screen without any confirmation of creation - no email either to confirm.

nah - no joy - neither does userid exist when resetting password.

Contact foursquare support. Maybe there is a screwup with your account or a bug on their side preventing you from loggin in. Nice to give it a bad review seeing that the app didn't work for you but works fine for everybody else. That isn't nice.

If this was the first time I'd agree - it's happened on every version this year.

I've had the same issue as @Mike.Schoor--one day it just stopped working & has given me that error for the past couple of months. I switched to one of my other phones & reset the BB Curve 8530. before i reset factory settings i tried the uninstall, battery out & install & i still have the issues & i haven't been able to find anyone that knows what the heck is going on. It's very frustrating!!
