Now that was a pretty good ride here in Richmond yesterday. Not like what I remember growing up in So. Cal, but it felt good to have a little rumble under my feet, and watching all of the earthquake newbies in the office freak out was a hoot. My sister in Wilmington, NC and I BBM'd each other about 6 times each during it.

I am in NoVa and right after quake all CDMA phone service was unusable for about 1.5 hours. Texting did not work well either. Blackberry Messenger did work 100% though. GSM phone service did seem to be working much better. I wonder why?
