Yup! Pretty embarrassing. It's like these guys talk out of two sides of there mouth sometimes.

Agreement here. What would be the justification for not including BBM Channels with the other three listed and, of course, for not keeping up to the minute posts on Channels. (Shaking my head in bewilderment and disappointment.)

Posted via CB10

Wonder if Kevin comes out with a similar comment from T-Mobile CEO, John Legere "Channel users, I'm hearing you loud and clear "

Lol

Catapulted from my Z10.

Sometimes I wonder about Kevin. BlackBerry is why he is where he is today. You can't bite the finger that feeds you. It is simple common sense.

Of course follow the @CrackBerry BBM channel. Use your brain.

And we're in the process of rolling out BBM Channels for ALL the sites.

Quit being so dramatic guys.

Hey Kevin, calm down!!!

We are using our brains. But if you state the platform you will be using, then by default you are indicating that you are not going to be using Channels.

This is a classic case of " Channel fans, we hear you loud and clear "

Like many, I don't use Insagran, Twitter, Googly +, and have always come to Crackberry for BlackBerry news. In fact I'm on your site for at least an hour a day which is supported by all the data you have access on me.

So chill bro. I know Crackberry is a business for you, and I support that, but as can be seen by my and many other comments, the message was clear.

But thanks Kevin, it's because us Crackberry users have BRAINS, we continue to support you and Crackberry.

As the line from Gladiator, "we who are about to die, salute you "

My rant finished

Catapulted from my Z10.

I correct myself on my last post, with WhatsApp going down yesterday, I created Twitter account and spent 45 minutes tweeting everyone to download BBM.

Once WhatsApp up and running, then twitter account deleted.

Catapulted from my Z10.

I searched for the other sites channels and nothing came back as a result :( I can only find CB

Posted with a Verizon Z30 running 10.2.1.2141 and CB10. My channel with zero subscribers

Paste that into an SMS / TXT and send it to yourself or a friend, and the Channel PINs become tappable.

Android Central - C0020FBEA
CrackBerry - C00012B19
iMore - C001515A0
WPCentral - C0048A83E
Smartwatch Fans - C00476F97

Even works when pasting it into a comment here when posting it here in the CB app. They are blue and tappable now, but as soon as I hit post, they will turn black (or white in Dark Theme) and be useless again.

BlackBerry needs to make Channels joinable by simply entering the PIN. Searching for it will yield no result. Needs fixing. Otherwise Channels will not take off.

iPhone for me? Scr... ahem Q that! (posted from the latter)

Peace Kevin. Nothing personal. Ironically we are all implicitly wishing your site bigger success. Nobody complains about something they don't care about. :)

Well with his most recent podcast, I almost fell out of my chair when I saw him with googly glasses.

Another podcast where he answered his iPhone on air.

Hey, but I get the point too, Crackberry is a business and not a charity. So all the best time Kevin.

Catapulted from my Z10.

I agree, there is NO REASON WHATSOEVER not to include BBM Channels in this list of social apps where people can follow MWC. Ridiculous.

@masterful..the new BB Foxconn phone,or phones which I would be surprised to see, anyway that's all I really am interested in,the rest is only second fiddle in my camp.

I don't think the Z3/Jakara is meant to be a "savior". If you don't live in Asia, you most likely won't even see it..

Posted via CB10

@khehl..I can see it coming here, and I want to be on the waiting list to buy one outright from BB.$200 bucks will make for a beautiful 5 incher .Most Z10 owners would agree, and maybe those who would like my Z, in my family, might even give me a big bear hug,HAHAHA!!!

Yup, I'm with you. If it comes with the battery and screen size mentioned, for $200, I'm buying one. Actually, for $200, I know a few family members who'll be getting BB10 B-day gifts!

Posted via CB10

You sound like a grumpy "ex-BlackBerry employee". Are you? Oh wait a minute, maybe BlackBerry owes you money or something. :)
EDIT: Your follow ups clarify things a lot better. :)

Yup I'm thinking about un following Kev on Twitter so I only get what he posts on his Channel. Now, that they are cross platform it's time to push Channels as a mainstream micro blog.

Posted via CB10

Nothing against Kevin and CB but i've been thinking of doing the same thing, I've already been using Facebook a lot less, trying my best to replace it with Channels and BBM.

Yeah.. agreed. OJ said it as well.. doesn't look good to NOT have BBM involved in this or BBM Channels.. its a 'wtf' moment..

Posted from my Q10 (TMobile) Running OS 10.2.1.2102 as of 2.14.2014!

Let's see what Mr Chen has in store for us.

This is really make or break for BlackBerry.

Come on Mr Chen make the critics eat their words.

Posted via CB10

With Kevin enjoying his IPhone and Samsung mobile phones.

Guess Crackberry needs to be renamed to ;
iberry
Crackberry Central
Crackdroid
Icrack

Choose your pick.

Catapulted from my Z10.

I agree why no bbm chanel?! If CB is trying to help promote it we should be exclusively using that outlet. My 2 cents.

Posted via CB10

BTW: cerveza y tapas in local Barcelona language which is catalan, not Spanish, is "cervesa i tapes". I recommend Moritz as good catalan beer.

Posted from my C=64

Speaking of cervesa i tapes, Barcelona also puts them in a better time zone to watch the game in Sochi on Sunday.

^ well said!

Would like to see a string of new announcements from BlackBerry & CEO. More BES10 installations BB10 purchases with it, the numbers are always good as well.

what's with the inverted picture?

BlackBerry Q10  & Full Metal CB10!

Why no BB Channels? Think the answer is easy: because not everybody is using it from the mobile nations team? Google,Twitter,Instagram anybody has and if not, they can install it cross platform, even on a Windoofs Phone.

I like channels, there is a good one "sexy guys in yoga shorts" but no updates :( check daily

Posted via the Android CrackBerry App!

Yeah, very odd how the mobile nations team, especially CrackBerry is not promoting BB Channels use (official CB Channel or otherwise) for following news at Mobile World Conference.

then again this event will showcase the competition in full force, not a traditional BB event.

Well, I would have thought that when Kevin wanted 100,000 subscribers, this would now be a great way to use the features and update all those who subscribed.

It has pictures
It has links abilities, linking stories back to Crackberry

I wonder how many of them use both, Twitter and Instigram

Catapulted from my Z10.

Well, you can only realistically count out Windows Phone for now (sorry WebOS, Ubuntu), the others have chosen not to.

iPhone for me? Scr... ahem Q that! (posted from the latter)

best event to represent the all new BlackBerry slider and BB10 tablets.

Posted with my Z10 or Z30! ..mostly on my Q10. ..while I wait for a BB slider.

Wasn't it BB that sponsored some event for Mobile Nations about 6 months ago,It's supposed to work like ...you scratch my back ,I'll scratch yours,do the decent thing ,and get on with it.

Dont worry im sure we'll get a long winded editorial on why it wasn't chosen or used but who knows maybe they'll change there mind.

Kind of how channels/bbm was used for ces......oh wait it wasnt...

Posted via CB10

It's crazy how the first thought I had when I saw this post was the same as all you guys....what about BBM channels???

Is it me or does it seem that some of the CrackBerry team have "moved on" from BlackBerry???

Crackberry wake up!!!! BlackBerry is your bread and butter, whether you guys like it or not. Hope you guys don't get over confident and suffer the same blow as BlackBerry did. One of these days, another site will sweep the rug from under you guys.
I will NOT follow you guys anywhere else other than on BBM Channel. Get a grip!!!

In the OpenSource world it's called a fork, and let the steam out of quite a few badly or dictatorially managed projects. Or when the spirit or the philosophy of the project was violated. Keeps things in check.

iPhone for me? Scr... ahem Q that! (posted from the latter)

Yeah that was VERY disappointing to see CBC ditch the home team and not support Canada with their Olympic app. How effing ironic.

Posted via CB10

It's no wonder tmobile basically said fuck you to blackberry and it's users in general.
I mean even the supposed CB faithful dont want to bother with channels or bbm for an event like this....

Then again crackberry does want page hits and channels can't be monetized just yet soooo.....

Posted via CB10

Where's BBM Channel updates? !?

I swear the stupidity of crackberry.com sometimes surprises me.

Posted via CB10

What don't you understand? The common denominator for CB & BB is BlackBerry. Ironically, that's why you and I are here. Isn't BBM Channels a fabric of BlackBerry? OR maybe we should all go to Google+ , Twitter, Instagram for our BlackBerry news/discussions instead of coming to Crackberry. I guess there is really no need for viewing Crackberry because it's not as big as Google+ or Twitter or Instagram.

Your rant was badly misplaced. He was saying he couldn't understand why BBM channels weren't listed also.

Posted via CB10

:) Yes, it does seem so. I could swear that he/she had a question mark after ".....for this". like "....for this?". Anyway it's nothing personal and I apologize.
Thanks for pointing that out.

Guys common, where the hell is bbm channels.. you have a 100000 followers there now, please post there as well

Posted via CB10

Bbm channels is like a structured live blog which is way better than twitter which is cluttered.
It should be used as the next big live blogging tool

Posted via CB10

Truth is they got there and packed away there blackberries so as not to stand out.
Classic peer pressure if i ever saw it rotfl!!!

Posted via CB10

And not a single attendee is using BBM or BBM Channels? Kevin? Come on. If even you guys don't use it how do you expect the general public to????

Posted via CB10

Until the battery goes flat. Better grab a Q10 / Z30.

Which phone won award for best blogging tool again? By a large margin?

iPhone for me? Scr... ahem Q that! (posted from the latter)

Follow BBRY's "lead" downhill, Balsillie & Lazaridis?

Hope CB won't need a Thor / Chen to reorganize and rebuild. Just meant as a "for fun statement". No offense

iPhone for me? Scr... ahem Q that! (posted from the latter)

BlackBerry empire leads the way with update to date info on channels.

9 times out of 10 I get the blackberry news I need from them on their channel before anyone else anywhere.

Posted via CB10

No BBM channels! Maybe it's time to start an new independent called ChilliBerry or BerryHot

CrackBerry is forgetting about its roots :(

Z30 on Verizon running 10.2. 1.1925

I'm so jealous! Barcelona is beautiful and the food is amazing! You won't want to come back, Kevin! I'm looking forward to your comments. :-)

Posted via my Q10, SQN100-2, 10.1.0.4189

I wish someone would spearhead raising the issue of permissions abuse by apps. Makes me sick why apps want access to files, location, camera, mic device id, phone number etc. Even some of the stupid flashlight apps do this. What's with the grayed out toggles?

Posted via CB10

This has been raised over and over, repeatedly.

No real response. Looks like there is a strong commercial interest behind data-slurping apps, which validates your original concern, canuckbear.

iPhone for me? Scr... ahem Q that! (posted from the latter)

I've simply started to purge these from my device. I don't mind paying a reasonable price for apps. My privacy is not for sale.

Posted via CB10

Obviously, Crackberry will post about mwc on the Crackberry channel. Isn't that enough for you guys?

Posted by the inimitable Z10 handheld system

Also noticed that the original post on android central wasn’t updated to include BBM Channels.

Posted via CB10

None of the other posts were updated. Checked Imore and it wasn't updated either.

Simply put, this *update* was posted to stop the questioning.
