With BlackBerry 10 and the glorious Z10 launching in more and more regions it only makes sense that we start to see more regional specific apps. With Asia getting some BB10 love; a rather handy app is now available for travellers in and out of the region - Air Asia.
Like many places in Asia the app is beautiful. From the home screen you will find that most of the display is taken up with some colourful images from around Asia and you can scroll these left and right - maybe to tempt you to fly there?
In addition to looking good the app looks to be a great utility. You can search and book flights and even select your seat and alter baggage details. Why not skip the queues and print your boarding pass when you scan your mobile barcode at the airport kiosk? Sweet!
Want to know what you can have to eat onboard the flight? The Air Asia app even shows you the food menus. And if you need some help with local amenities and things to do then fear not as there is a full travel guide built in to the app.
Air Asia is free to download for BlackBerry 10 smartphones. If you are using the airline you are going to love this one.
