FlipSide Music Player

I just received an email from FlipSide letting me know they have released a new update to their BlackBerry Music Player and better news yet, it's now available from our own ShopCrackBerry.com Software Store!!

FlipSide Version 1.07 offers a number of performance improvements, particularly when loading music for the first time.

If you're not familiar with FlipSide, it's a very graphical and user-friendly media player for the BlackBerry that is compatible with all trackball BlackBerry's equipped with a Media Card. One of the most popular features is the ability to "swoosh" through the full-color cover art of an entire music collection within seconds using your Berry's trackball. FlipSide downloads and displays each album's cover art and even links to FlipSide Extras to provide biographies of the artists, recommendations for similar artists and more. Flipside plays music in MP3, WMA, M4A and AAC formats, and also allows users to create their own playlist.

The FlipSide Music Player has been a big hit around CrackBerry.com, ever since we announced the release of its Beta. We were the first to post about it (accidentally let the word slip), but it quickly transpired into 5,000 downloads in a single weekend. Be sure to download a free trial and give it a go yourself!

- Improved memory handling.
- Improved image handling.
- Fixed issue with Disk Mode deleting the meta data.
