Last night I came across a great app which I can quickly see becoming one of my favorites. Flag Your Emails lets you easily - well - flag your emails so you can keep track of important ones. I was constantly leaving items unread, only to forget and "Mark Prior Opened" a few minutes later. I'd forget what email I wanted to get back to, and that was that. Now with Flag Your Emails, you can toggle a flag on messages and the app will throw a red exclaimation mark next to the message (the same mark seen on urgent or high priority message). Then you just have to scroll through your messages and can easily see the ones marked. The app adds a simple "Toggle Flag" item to your menu and thats all there is to it. You can grab Flag Your Emails for only $0.99 in the CrackBerry App Store through Sunday.

I have had this one for a little bit and it is a great app that goes unnoticed. That flag has helped me remember to do a lot of astuff in my inbox. I definitely recommend this one

Is for the app that does this, but flagging a message would flag the equivalent message in my IMAP/POP inbox...

Sounds great, but I'm wondering if it will flag and sync on my BES outlook. That way, I could do "delete prior" on the device and see that I have flagged messages when I get back to the office.

You guys & gals do know there is a free utility that does this -- and a whole lot more... BerryAddOn by Twinkler software..
I've beeen using it a while for many of it's great features.. .flagging email is just but one of them that is handy.

i actually have it on my tour already included as a feature i didnt even realize but it does it in the messages menu folder

Is there any way to filter the messages in your inbox and only show the flagged ones?

Unfortunately there is no way to filter or sort by flagged items. This program is a great concept but not as useful as I thought it would be without the filter or sort ability.

BerryAddon is currently in an open, free beta. This is one of the many features it has.

I have been using this app for quite a while and it is just like the feature you use in Outlook.
What I never realized before is that is someone sends you a priority e-mail, you will never know on your BB without this app.
Not only can you flag your e-mails - but any e-mail that is sent with a priority status shows up flagged as well!
This is a must have app and is an app that really should be included with all BB OS!!

i cannot believe such things are called Apps in the blackberry world... it's sad we have to pay money for basic features... i dont care what everybody else thinks and also: no i don't want an iphone or a palm pre...
