If you didn't know already, February is Health and Fitness Month here on CrackBerry and Mobile Nations. We've been running daily contests, and a weekly one still going on. We've got folk in the forums talking about what workout or exercise they've been doing but today we'll take to the blogs are ask you: How Do You Workout?
Growing up I was always quite sporty. I loved taking part in lots of different kinds of sports and took a few Karate classes too. Then when I hit 21, I don't know what change but I just didn't do much sport anymore. Now that I'm in my 30s, I feel like I want to get back into getting active. For the past four and half years I've been doing Taekwon-Do, taking classes 2-3 times a week. That was pretty much it. Then last year, as a family we took things further and I started running more and general doing more workouts than just the Taekwon-Do. In the long run it even helped me in Taekwon-Do as I felt a lot stronger and could with stand sparring a lot more than I could before. The photo you see above is from the ITF Taekwon-Do Scottish Championships 2012.
I use my BlackBerry and PlayBook for working out too. Most recently finding the Max Capacity Traning app very useful since it doesn't require you to use any equipment. Great for travellers and those who like to workout in the comfort of their own home.
So, what about it CrackBerry Nation. How do you workout? What are your favourite activities? Hit up the comments with your workouts and activities. Don't forget week one contest is still open to tell us how you use your BlackBerry or PlayBook to workout.
