Fireball MediaFire client for BlackBerry 10 updated

While most folks are aware of the native Dropbox, Box and OneDrive clients for BlackBerry 10, there are several other third-party cloud storage apps available as well, one of which is Fireball. Fireball is a native BlackBerry 10 client that allows you to use a MediaFire cloud storage account with your BlackBerry smartphone.

We featured Fireball early on in its development and since then, the app has expanded and improved a lot. The latest release is now available in BlackBerry World and brings forth many feature additions and bug fix improvements.

In an effort to get the app more recognized, Poncho Labs, has offered up 1,000 copies to CrackBerry readers for free but before we get to that, go ahead and check out what's new in the change log.

  • Russian translation added
  • Search option added
  • Original MIMETYPES from Mediafire app icons added.
  • Change desktop icon.
  • UI changes
  • Many bugs fixed (Now, elements are shown in OS 10.3.1 Correctly).
  • Settings Page added (Only theme changer for now)
  • Theme configuration added
  • Full support for all screen Resolutions.
  • Active frames with downloads / uploads / space statistics.

If you're looking to grab your free copy of Fireball, all you have to do is open up BlackBerry World, swipe from the top, go to 'Redeem' and enter in code FIREBALL4CB and you'll be able to download the app for free until all 1,000 copies are gone.

It should be noted, however, that due to some incompatibility with earlier OS versions, this particular updated version of Fireball is only available for BlackBerry OS 10.3 and up. Big thanks to Poncho Labs for the free copies! If you miss out on the free copies, you can still purchase Fireball for only $0.99 using the BlackBerry World link below.
