Fast Scroll for BlackBerry now available - 100 copies up for grabs!

By Adam Zeis on 1 Oct 2010 05:24 pm EDT

If you find youself constantly flicking your trackball/trackpad up or down to run through emails, tasks, photo lists or BBM converstions then we may have just what you need. The new app Fast Scroll from Virtual Fidelity simplifies the scrolling process in some native BlackBerry apps. Need to run through your emails quickly? Just hold the up or down volume key and Fast Scroll takes over. No more flicking and tired fingers. Want more refined selection? Tap the buttons instead to go through one item at a time. Fast Scroll is a great utility and a huge time saver. Fo just $0.99 you really can't go wrong.

Contest: We have 100 copies of Fast Scroll to give away. Just leave a single comment on this post to be entered to win. Contest ends this Sunday at midnight PDT.

...can't listen to music and use it simultaneously(sucks)
If u win it...cool whatever....but shouldnt pay for it unless willing to sacrifice using it while playing music...

This sounds pretty useful. I especially don't like it after an OS update that I have to scroll all the way down my inbox.

It's another app that gives a function that should be part of the core functionality.

I'm up for a free copy ta.

I've always wondered when something like this would reach BB Land. I remember you could do this on the Tmo Dash a few years ago.

I've been looking for an app like this for ages! This is a must have! i would love a free copy....please??

You can already hit the space bar to go down 1 screen at a time which is really fast, and the T and B buttons will send you to the top and bottom, respectively. Of course, now that I have the Torch I really don't have any reason at all to have something like this.

Seems like a pretty cool app.
Does anyone know if this works with the Facebook App?
The Facebook app for BlackBerry is horrible at scrolling when using the Space Bar. It always gets hung up on images. This would be a life saver.

Thanks for the comment, Fast Scroll does work on my Facebook app (Bold 9700 running OS v5.0), but we did not test for that and there is no guarantee if Facebook restrict some access for the application. Mike

Now thta's what i am talking about right there ,,.. The wonderful world of modern day technology software injected into some hardware..

I was talking about how great a program like this would be the other day. It would be great to win. If not I am going to have to buy!

Love it! I've often thought this feature should've been built into the bb to begin with. Glad someone finally created this app! I'd love to win it!! Thanks, CrackBerry!!! As always, you ROCK!!!
