It's not every day that I come across a BlackBerry 10 game that is truly awesome. All that we feature here on CrackBerry are good but Fangz goes into my special league of 'super games' - I've just invented that category.
Fangz is all about vampire slaying. You control your character using a virtual joypad on the left of the display and over on the right is your fire button along with one for jumping. Above these you'll see your weapons which you can swipe up and down to toggle between.
As you move from left to right the vampires will appear and attempt to eat you. This is never a good thing so you need to be quick of the mark to shoot or batter them with a kosh. As you progress the number of vampires will increase and they'll appear from behind you too. Things spice up a great deal as you move onto further levels. There are different styles of vampire and some are a real pain in the butt. The small ones may not look very intimidating but believe me - they are quick and they are kind enough to throw things at you too. This is where you'll need to use the jump button to get yourself out of sticky situations.
The game play doesn't get much better than this one. Combined with stunning graphics and sound effects Fangz really is a beauty. Priced at £1.50/$1.99 it won't break the bank and although everyone loves free games you have to give some credit to developers who put so much effort into making amazing games.
If you like the look of Fangz why not treat yourself to it? I'm sure you deserve it.
