FaceJam now available for the BlackBerry Q10 & Q5 - for free!

FaceJam Q10
By James Richardson on 4 Sep 2013 04:37 am EDT

We recently showed you a quick video demo of FaceJam for the BlackBerry Z10. Thanks to feedback from the CrackBerry community the developer has been in touch to let me know that Q10 & Q5 owners can now download the application.

If you missed the video review you can catch up here, but just to give you a quick summery - the app allows you to combine two, three or four photos into one - great for 'jamming' together pictures of your friends. If you have no friends other images are permitted!

There will be future updates to FaceJam and of course we'll keep you in the loop when they arrive, but in the meantime go and grab this one. It's a nice app costing no money - which we all like.

Hope it works on a 3.1" screen

Dun dun dun.

This app is awesome and now my girlfriend can get it on her Q10

Posted via CB10

Nice, but how do I save the picture?

Posted via CB10

James Richardson

You need to use the media keys. A saving option should be in the next update.

Ouch. Then this shouldn't have been released yet. It's not done.

When completed I'm sure it will be good, but maybe BlackBerry needs to increase their quality standards for apps! Stuff like this makes BlackBerry World embarrassing IMO :(

You can always screenshot!

Of course but then I have the option bar on the screen shot as well.... this sucks

Posted via CB10

On my z10 you can hide the option bar via the menu that comes in from the right.

Thanks - not intuitiv for me.... need to improve....

But now you know how to do it. Not everything learn able needs to be intuitive. It also comes with a quick tutorial that explains everything.

Posted via CB10

This is absolutely necessary to convince users in a high competitive market.
Main argument of Apple.. u just activate it and everything works. This should be the objective on this platform as well.

Great, but please add Save option. Tks.

Hello everyone...this is dpcanada....thanks for all the feedback on FaceJam...I wanted to get Q10 and Q5 user in the game...Please find below a demo video of FaceJam working on my Q10. Hope it is used to inspire...Keep Jamming. The link is:

Harvesting photos from Facebook and mashing them up in FaceJam provided me literally minutes of fun one afternoon.

If you go through the tutorial they actually recommend screenshotting to save. Press and hold on a picture you added, remove the bottom bar, then press both the volume up and down buttons to screen shot. It will go to your pictures folder/app.

LOVE IT! Thanks for creating this for Q10... can't wait for the updates on 10.2.

Is screen shot quality the same as original?

Yes :)

Last recommendation would be to default from media card, otherwise great app!
