If you're on a BlackBerry OS device and have a BlackBerry Beta Zone account then this is for you. Facebook for BlackBerry has been updated to v4.2 and it looks like it brings a lot of improvements as well as bug fixes. I actually really liked Facebook for BlackBerry as it had the to option to choose how often the feed would be update, something you don't see in the BlackBerry 10 version.
Facebook for BlackBerry 4.2 features:
- Right to Left language is fully supported
- Ability to unlike a page functionality
- Ability to share a post to user’s own timeline, a friend’s timeline or a group
- UI improvements in messages quick view (unread messages are easier to distinguish)
- UI improvements for messages screen (unread messages are easier to distinguish)
- Unread notifications are automatically marked as read when user exits the application or refreshes the notifications quick view
- Removed the "Refresh Messages" option from options screen. User will receive messages as long as the push notifications are enabled
- Improved photo loading time from News Feed
If you have a BlackBerry Beta Zone account, just login and accept the program and then download over-the-air. If you don't yet have an account you can sign up using the link below.
