Explicit- A Premium Theme From Hedone Designs With Some Serious Style

Explicit is the latest theme from Hedone Design. Explicit was designed to make great use of the BlackBerry screen real estate and look amazing doing so. Wallpaper-friendly with 10 user customizable icons on the main screen gives Explicit the minimal look while allowing access to everything important. Reminds me of the Corporate Goth theme, which I'm using now, and is only $2 in the Crackberry store.

...all the theme themes featured by good ol' Bla1ze are great themes and I am a fan of everyone. These guys offer great themes and they are without a doubt aimed to please. But did anyone notice that they ONLY feature themes by their buddies? They don't care about anyone else. I know this by personal fact. Anyway, I wanted a soap box. This is a great theme. Just purchased it for my 9700 and it looks exceptional. Great job Hedone, as usual. :))

I'm a total theme junkie so I had to purchase this and I LOVE it! Having been disappointed by a hedone theme purchase before (metallic), I was unsure. But this one's unique, fast, clean, and fun. Only criticism I have is that when using bb messenger when I highlight my status bar the highlight color and text color is the same so I can't read the text at all.
Other than that I totally recommend it and it's worth the money in my opinion! Thanks Hedone!

...so I broke down and bought it because I think it's an awesome design. However, I realized shortly after I already paid for it, there is no signal meter and in BBM...text disappears when I highlight my profile at the top. Also, menu fonts are very small. It is a great design and it's very snappy, but it needs a little touch up work. Hopefully an update will be released soon that fixes these issues. Great theme, but not worth anywhere near $6.99

Hey Many!

Signal meter are dots in second circle (after battery). Fonts are a bit small for some, but theme wouldnt look as it does with bigger fonts.
As for text that you can not see... its not that disappear... OS in some cases takes themed font and in some not... in this case they take font color instead of menu color in BBM.

After one day of using this theme, I'm still impressed, but theme NEED to have some changes/fixes, like others here wrote.
Here is something I would like to see updated:
- application title on pie highlight should be above the wheel not under (my thumb is hiding it)
- in Messages list, dark grey (almost black) and light grey for highlighted message is not so good; maybe colors should change "meanings"
- date should have white text and a little bigger font
- why is BBM icon so dark? all other icons are OK (I'm using 9520)
- I'd like to see redesigned notification icons from the top of the home screen (unread messages, etc.)

Hedone is almost *always* having a sale, so at least SOMEONE *is* thinking about the whole "layoffs" issue.

HINT: Your BB is *not* an iPod (just in case anyone found themselves long in fruit-flavored electronics), SOOO… The trackpad NOT being circular, if you remember that UP is right-to-left and DOWN is left-to-right, you will find this *MOST* useful in dealing with this theme.

UN-like most circular themes on MY BB, this one is still on there. I am still of the opinion that any visual issues people with the Bold 9000 are having *might* be that specific screen type that RIM used because I've seen this on BOTH the 9000 and on my 9700 and the latter is MUCH clearer.

Easy to navigate, easy to customize (which is usually the part theme designers lie about, LOL), I've been pretty happy with this one. Clean, *FAST* (another thing they usually lie about - there is something sooooo un-sexy about pressing a button and having to order lunch while your theme tries to figure out what it is you've been up to - very Windows-98-Chic) and well-executed.

Sure hope a version for the torch 9800 is in the works...I love the look and colours of this theme.
