A little while back now, the folks from Evernote held a beta testing phase of their app for the BlackBerry PlayBook that served to correct issues found in the previously available v1.2. With the testing done and some bugs squashed, Evernote for the BlackBerry PlayBook is once again available in BlackBerry App World and is ready for download as v1.3. If you're an Evernote user, give it a go and let us know how things are working. Thus far, on my PlayBook all seems to be running better than ever.

Yes, thanks Evernote! I've become quite reliant on Evernote and this was the one device where it wasn't working... all better now!

It may run smoother than the 1.2 version.....But is still disappointing compared to the sideloaded android version.
Now that 2.1 beta has opened up camera to android, I don't see any reason not to use the far superior android port.

Good update! Uninstalled the Android port.

Fixing one bug is hardly a significant update. No offline storage = 100% Fail after so long with the android version far superior. Evernote should be extremely embarrassed with this lack of progress. CrackBerry should be livid with this continued token attention to PB. Alex should be camped in these company offices getting REAL apps, not the token crap we have to put up with from Evernote and Adobe. This vacuum for PB is getting really old...

I second this.

When Evernote on my Playbook went out to the web to pull down my saved notes that I had entered on my Windows application, some of the notes would not open in the Playbook app (e.g. saved audio note).
Also, without offline access to the application, it's of very little to no value to me.

Can I import my device task list? Would be nice to be able to sort by due date on PB.
