I dropped my 8900 when i was checking time waiting outside for my manager to let me i the store, and it was only the 4th or 5th day i had it.. very sad and it could have been avoided with an Epix case!

Sure could have used one of these things. I dropped my Berry in some snow went to pick it up and it slid across a downward sloping parking lot and under a car. I went to reach for it and it slid under another car. Wow, could this be happening...nope but we have had so much snow I have bad dreams about this happening to my berry! Worst thing I ever did was buy a skin from a Telus Store, which I was told would work with my holster. First time I tried taking it out, down went my new 8330 face first onto the pavement....

oem cases for the 9700 are poorly built... The epix would just carry this phone to the heights i know it can be!!!

I dropped my Storm 9530 after one week of ownership. I was getting on the Train to head to work, reached down to unclick it from my belt clip only to find an empty clip. After getting off at the next station and heading back to my station and searching the parking lot, I gave up and headed to work. Once I was at a phone it turns out someone had picked it up and I was able to recover it. However the Bezel and top and bottom were significantly scratched.

I'm desperately in need of a case.

I was talking to my boss on my phone about a possible new promotion when I tripped on the rug in my house that was flipped uP and dropped my Tour, battery was knocked out and I hung up on my boss. Of course, it takes a while to reboot and she tried calling me back but couldn't get through. So she stopped trying to call back and I didn't get the promotion. Pretty sure one of these cases would have kept my battery from flying out and I would have gotten the promotion :(

Ahhh I'm in a bad situation right now! My screen is cracked down the middle and it only recognizes touch on parts where the crack isn't. It sucks! If I woulda had a case maybe it would have absorbed the damage! Plus I'm getting a new phone from verizon soon, cause i have insurance, so I need a new case to protect my new one!

I don't have luck with my Bold. At home and when I am out everything is fine, but at university... Gravity there must be much stronger than anywhere else, because my Berry keeps falling on the ground. When I put it in/out of pocket, when I type, all the time. My bezel is scratched in many places...

I was running late for work one morning and in that morning rush once I got to work I was reading a text that just came in when i pulled into my works parking lot. got done reading it and jumped out the car while trying to put my phone in my pocket. I missed my pocket by a long shot and I felt my phone drop down hitting my leg onto my foot as I took a step. It landed perfectly on my foot and got punted about 2 feet away from me. When it landed it tumbled another 3 and slid to a stop, and I was like oh s&%t!! I went and picked it up and it still works but it got dinged up real good on one of the corners. Yeah I definitely need an EPIK case for that added protection.

So I was going to run into bathroom real quick and had a hoodie sweatshirt on so I put my bb in the front pouch and started unzipping pants then it happened bb right in toilet ... Wait cases don't make phone float or water proof but they look amazing and could use one incase phone missed toilet and landed on floor!! Great looking cases guys

i purchased a 9000 right before work one day. rushing to be on time, i had the device in my lap and when i got out of the car it went flying across a few parking spaces...it was still functional but physically damaged and i was heart brooken to say the least...please dont let this happen to my 9700...pick me

I had just upgraded, when I went to pick up my phone, it slipped out of my hand and fell between the counters, struck a metal support on the way down before hitting the hard tile floor. Luckily it didn't break, but is in need of protection.

I got a OEM shell from T-Mobile and when my 9700 slipped out of my hand and fell on the pavement, the shell shattered! My phone was ok, but now I have no shell! The shell was the cheapest plastic known to man!

carrying 2 kids, balancing a diaper bag, blankets and my berry when it slipped out of my hands as I was double timing it to the suv. I immediately dropped everything to make sure my berry was ok. Can't live w/o it.

A nice phone case would be amazing right now for me. I received one for Christmas but it makes my signal strength weak and my phone loses about 90% battery when I'm at school trying to get service. And when I figured it was the case after several days of searching the forums here at Crackberry I took it off and left it off. Then when I was at church playing with some kids they kicked my leg where my phone is and I have a dent in my battery door (luckily it wasn't my screen). This case is made better and shouldn't affect my signal strength and would hopefully protect my phone from any other dents.

I've dropped my BlackBerry Curve 8310 several times while I was getting out my car; the BB fell out of my pocket. Sometimes the battery door comes off. Having a case like this would help avoid not only the inconvenience of getting on the ground to retrieve my battery door, but also the chance of actual damage. (I'd probably still cringe if I drop the BB, though!)

Not for me... I have a nice holster. BUT, the wife has dropped hers 3 times now!! Luckily it landed on the back but holy cow we did not get insurance on them! (she never dropped her older phones) Shes makin me nervous... I keep telling her to buy a case and she keeps putting it off. So Winning one would be awesome... I received my brand new 8520 2 weeks ago, and I´ve been very happy with the new cell phone, how ever four day after I received it I was working in my garage, I was building a new table for my living room. I didn´t notice that my BB8520 was covered with sawdust :( at that moment I was wishing to have bought an screen protector and a case :(

I set my 8900 on the counter and had a stoneware dish land on the screen - it put a big crack in it and I almost cried. If I would have had an Epic case and screen protector - I know it would have been saved!!!

I got me and my wifey new Blackberry tours on Christmas eve. Well, in Christmas day, as we were loading the car to go to Grandma's house, my Blackerry slipped out of my pocket as I was closing tha car door. We've been getting a lot of snow in the North East. So much so that I decided to have my driveway plowed this year. The last storm we had was bad and the plow was running late. I decided to shovel at least path to the mailbox. My Tour fell out of my pocket at some point without me knowing it. I realized when I went back inside that it was missing... and I did panic. I went back out, but could not see it on top anywhere. I would have to shovel. 50 minutes later, after shoveling and scrutinizing every shovel full, I found it. The plow would have killed it. No damage to the phone, and I saved $30 on the plow, by shoveling the rest.

After I had just purchased my blackberry (and turned down the insurance), I accidently knocked it off my computer table. For about ten seconds I was in utter panic. *Double post. I'm sorry.

I guess I'm accident prone. I had my Storm for about 2 days when I set it down at a conference table and flipped up the tables "hatch" so I could plug in my laptop. The hatch, which was supposed to be hinged, wasn't, and it fell on my storm, putting a "groove" in the bezel.

Shortly after that, I did get a case but now the corners of the case are chewed up from several slides out of my pouch and across the parking lot. I could use a new one and these look great.

I, like most people, am addicted to my BB Bold 9700. A few days after I got it, I was texting while driving (don't we all!). I put it in between my legs for safe keeping while I parked, and due to my excitement for the first day of class (and finding adequate parking), I forgot my 9700 was in between my legs! Needless to say, it jumped ship as I was getting out of the car ... my poor Bold. I need a new case for the one thats on the way! Thanks crackberry!

Literally, the same day I got my new BB 8120... A friend of mine was visiting from out of town and we went for dinner. I was all excited about my new smart phone and the new world of possibilities it opened up. So I take it out of the holster to show it to her, and it was in her hand for maybe 5 seconds until the unthinkable happened! Slipped out of her hand as if it were a greased up bar of soap. I was shocked and devastated to see the pieces of my new device all over the hard concrete side walk.

If I only had an Epix case, oh the heartbreak it would've saved. My friend did end up getting me a new phone but I still would have loved to avoid that situation that I'm sure happens to many many people on a regular basis.

Managed to drop my 9000 while putting it into my jacket pocket. I made a weird move with my foot to break its fall - which I succeeded in doing - however, it had recently snowed and was rather slippery. So while my BlackBerry didn't hit the ground hard, I did!

The case or protection I have now is cracked "all of a sudden" so must be week or I am hard on the stuff. Had it for about a month and bang, there it goes, to the cement. At the airport finding the pieces to put it back together. It works, but would be much nicer with the protection of an epik case!!!
