We've featured Enpass Password Manager for BlackBerry 10 a few times in the past, mainly because it's my app of choice when it comes to storing passwords securely. Although Enpass is free to download and use, there are some limits in place which can be unlocked via an in-app purchase. Normally priced at $9.99, the developers are currently offering a 50% discount on the app, so if you've been tempted in the past, but put off by the price, you can now grab the full version for $4.99 - a bargain if you ask me.
We do of course have our own BlackBerry Password Keeper, but Enpass takes things to the next level, including cloud storage and desktop versions of the app. So if I was to perform a security wipe on my device, or switch to a new handset, I would simply fire up Enpass and re-sync with Dropbox where my passwords are backed up - simple!
Military grade encryption - Enpass secures your data by SQLCIPHER which is transparent and open-source AES-256 encryption to ensure highest level of security. All protection mechanism is done locally (offline) at your device.
So if you want your passwords stored securely within a user friendly native app, give Enpass a try and if you like what you see why not take advantage of the price? Or if you already use the free version this may be a good excuse to upgrade?
