... but this will work only with fairly recent devices since "25 MB free memory is required on your Blackberry to install the Vulkano Blackberry Player" !

I'm hoping they are just talking about having 25MB free on your media card. I'll try and get clarification.

Ok... This will take about 10MB of space on the device memory, and any other downloaded content will be placed on the media card.

This is awesome, but if you already have a TV Tuner on your computer, just get Orb for free!

I saw you needed 25mb of free space on your blackberry. This pretty much takes out all the devices that don't have 512mb installed. :(

I actually tried out one of their products about a year ago. I had some serious issues with it. Basically they were so focused on remote streaming the internal stuff suffered. I do allot of HD streaming internally and there setup is great if you want to stream to a phone but for a whole home HD enviroment it wasn't any good. The device I had would only do 740x480, and it was a pain to find were that was documented. It was a bit missleading as they said it would use the imput of 1080i, but they didn't document anywhere that it only recorded at SD resolutions.

It would be interesting to see what this device can do, and if they fixed the recordeing limitation they had before. I noticed again on their site it was listed the same way. Atleast this new devices shows h.264 encoding so maybe my issues were addressed, but I will stick with MCE and my WHS for remote streaming for now.

I'd be ordering this now if more than one device could stream at once. Say 2 different people in my family streaming the same or different content to their Blackberries at once. Not possible, so won't be making its way to my home.
