This week the sales on popular applications keep on coming, this time focusing on legacy BBOS handsets. We took a look at Email++ some time back and it is a useful tool that offers additional options for your messages. It does so as it is a fully integrated graphical toolbar that appears right above the message details.

There are a plethora of options to choose from including block/filter, templates, unsend, Microsoft Outlook like message preview, and ability to fetch your GPS coordinates to include in the email. From now until Sunday, May 25th users can grab this application for only $.99 (regular $3.99) which is a hefty discount.

Features

  • Convert To: Instantly convert emails into Appointments, Meetings, Memos or Tasks.
  • Forward/Reply with Edit: Respond to or forward emails with attachments and yet be able to edit the original message or even remove the original message.
  • Unsend: Avoid send accidents. Unsend your sent emails before going oops!!
  • Set Priority: Set priority of new emails as well as emails that are already in your inbox. A great way to flag messages.
  • Block: Block/filter emails by address or subject (exact or keyword based) with customizable actions such as Move To Junk, Delete and Mark Read.
  • My Availability: Get your availability for a specific day or a week.
  • My Location: Instantly get your GPS/Cell tower coordinates, address and a map url with you on it and include it in your email.
  • Message Preview: Microsoft Outlook like popups no matter on which app you are, with instant action buttons such as Delete, Mark Read and View.
  • Templates: Convert any emails to a template and reuse them over and over again.
  • Image Download: Configure to download images automatically in HTML emails.
  • Each feature is fully customizable to suit your needs via the Email++ Preferences screen.

For those still rocking legacy devices this only increases the functionality of your device and how you communicate. You can grab it in BlackBerry World for the sale price for a limited time.

I had it on my 9900 and it worked. Too bad the dev doesn't support BlackBerry 10.

We managed to bring some of the relevant features in HUB++ and UnSend Email apps for BlackBerry 10. Please note that some of the features are already included in the OS (Reply/Fwd with Edit, Convert To Calendar event, Instant Preview). We have more in the pipe with OS 10.3

Somebody gon gitchu!

Hi, too bad this app does not work on Z30. Is that why the discount. Would be very helpful to know upfront, the compatible devices.

Link not working, but I get what you saying. I just don't get it, i am coming of an legacy device but never looked back. Why bother with such a small display if not need to. I find even the one from my Z10 little bit too small. What's the advantage of such a small smartphone display, less fingerprints? Can not understand blackberry not building and selling an awesome full touch device, market it well.
I fear my red Z10 is the last BlackBerry device for me, I will use it until there are no replacement batteries available anymore.

I spend most of my time with my WindowsPhone these days, but I still have my old Blackberry. For 99 cents I bought the app just for poops and giggles. Yes, I can see how it would be a productivity booster.

I have had "Message Preview" installed on my Berry for years and years, so a preview of the incoming email is nothing new, but being able to ACT ON that incoming email via the preview is VERY new. Nice feature. That's probably the best one of the group for me personally. Easy scroll to top menu within the actual email saves you from having to BBerry Button and Select to engage action items.

For a Berry Power User, I'd say for 99 cents, it's a must have if you are an Email Guru.
