Elecite has got another piece of mind blowing theme available for everyone, even for Storm OS 5.0 users which is bug-free now that theme builder 5.0 has been launched. From the description on Stasis:
It’s safe to say that few themes leave an impression the way Stasis does. The attention to detail is astonishing – every piece masterfully crafted to create an almost organic look. In the middle you’ll find a hatch that opens to reveal 6 customizable icons as well as 5 quick access icons depending on your knob choice. The theme is animated to show how the hatch contents switch and rotate the vents and chambers. Can your iPhone do that?
For those of you concerned with OS compatibility, Stasis comes in 2 versions for the Storm, one build specifically for OS 4.7, and another for 5.0 so you won’t have to worry about seeing any weird issues. Go get this killer theme and blow everyone away!
Stasis is currently available for the BlackBerry 8350, 8500, 8900, 9000, 9500 (OS 4.7 or 5.0), 9600 & 9700 series devices for only $6.99.
I've checked out Elcite themes for a while, but never bit because of the price..
If anyone who has bought Elcite themes could tell about their performance, it would be much appreciated :)
They sure look cool as hell!
with my 8900 little to no lag
Using on Storm 2. Works very smooth :D
Have you or anybody else figured out how to close them doors on the main screen? I wonder is that even possible. I notice touching each screw or button only rotates the menu after you open the doors. It would be cool to be able to close them also.
Never mind I got it now.
and its great
i love the urban theme, the spear theme, the analog theme and now this one XD
I'd need to see each one in action, on youtube or something, before buying, due to the price. There are a couple on youtube but not the ones I want.
While his themes look great, his website is sparse and poor.
Hey guys and lady's this really looks good. Like what was said before they are expensive for themes but they are clean and you get what you pay for. This one certainly gives the Storm 2 that more future look. This will be my second theme from this company and I have no complaints. My first theme was for my Tour and that one was free got it right here from CB. I have meterberry on my phone and so far its good. The only thing I did do was reset the phone after the install because my meterberry icons were not rotating. After the reset back to normal. One last thing I did find is that on the video they show how the doors open up and you can view your icons. On the Storm 2 their are 2 screws that you will see on the screen just above the doors. You have to touch them in order for the door to open. Just Fyi ok enjoy.
Sorry about that my fellow CB brother'n. The screws which are knobs are to rotate the menu icons. To open the hatch not doors are two arrows ones on each side of the hatch. One to open and one to close the hatch. Just push them and they will light up and activate. Sorry for my completely wrong directions earlier.
this theme looks really cool. but i am not sure if i am going to buy it since i am already disapointed with elecite. The previous (and first) theme bought at these guys was faulty.
From the video it looks that most of the stuff is correctly tuned...but stil sceptical
maybe i will wait for other comments!!!
I think that might have been because of the older theme builder. BlackBerry just launched a new and improved version that should fix a lot of issues theme makers have had.
I've got this theme on the Storm 2 and it works very well!
Overkill.
But I still find Elecite themes lacking in two areas that are important for me: no weather/QL slots on the home screen and, most important, no hidden today. Why oh why do you not offer hidden today!?! This theme looks very, very slick, but I worry that it wont be functional for me. I've been disappointed by Elecite themes in the past, not because of performance or appearance (they excel there), but because of functionality. Drop a hidden today version of your themes with slots and I'll be the first to shell out the bucks!
in UGLY... If you want to blow 2/3 of your screen on graphics that look like they came from Doom or Quake, be my guest. I need my theme to look good AND not make it needlessly cumbersome to get to the features I bought the Blackberry for in the first place.
I agree, This looks like it has a whole lot going on and all of it adds up to wasted space and effort. I will happily stick with hemisphere.
This is a cool theme
