I have been an on and off fan when it comes to cases on my devices. With my BlackBerry Bold 9900 I went through quite a few before I just went totally caseless. I feel that after a while when the device isn't as new, I'm fine with showing off its natural beauty and not so much worried about dropping it.

On my BlackBerry Z10 I've gone through the same process. I've tried everything from the OtterBox Defender to the Poetic Atmosphere to the Mobi Products Hard Shell. At the moment I'm working with a simple Phantom Skinz Chromatic in CrackBerry orange, but I fear that too may be coming off in a day or two.

The Z10 has a great design and a great feel - covering it up with a case takes away from that - and for me it's worth the risk of dropping it and having it banged up (I've dropped it twice already with minimal damage). Granted this is just my opinion, but I know many others who are in the same boat.

So we're curious to know just how many of you use a case on your Z10 and how many just go naked. Let us know in the poll below then give us your reasons for what you do in the comments.

Of course if you do go the case route, you know where to find them.

Naked here. Even as I shelled out over 6 bills for this I have the leather sleeve and doing great so far. It's such a beautiful device. I have to feel it. Every minute of the day.

All this talk about insurance and protection plans. The last phone (6 years now) was a slider. In two years I paid the t mo monthly insurance and when it got coffee poured on it. I still had to pay almost 200 to replace. Huge rip off. I'll now just buy another outright. And skip giving the carriers more of my money. Rather it go to BlackBerry.

I need a skin for my z10
On the world known as the new York City transit system, my phone naked looks too much like any other. Only when I tell someone its a BlackBerry they break their necks...and I mean break Em.

Posted via CB10

Covered for me. I have the i-Blason SoftGel Flexible TPU Case (Frost Clear) so I can still see my white Z10 in all it's "Verizon" glory...and so can EVERYONE else (dangblasted logo everywhere...) but I digress... yes. It is keeping it clean at least and doesn't add much to it's weight.

I have always has a purple Vibe case from iSkin and while I've used the sleep cover and pouch (both from BlackBerry and both Red) as soon as this became available for my white Z10 I immediately bought one. Love the quality of iSkin cases!!

Posted via CB10

The feel of the phone outside of the case is incredible. I'd rather keep it safe though.

Posted via CB10

Using a transform case from blackberry on the weekends and a seidio holster for work. Coming from an naked iPhone 5. Feels good to have blackberry holstered at my side again!

Posted via CB10

Worried about dropping it so bought an Otter box Defender. But after difficulty typing because of large bezel and hulky looks, bought an Incipio but am not sure if I have much more protection than no case. I will end up with only a screen protector because my Z10 looks great by itself Don't want to break It if I drop it though!

Peter if the plastic ends of the BlackBerry Z10 were replaced by the same style end as the top edge of the BlackBerry Bold 9700 then in my opinion the BlackBerry Z10 would be perfect from an ascetics and us ability perspective. It would reduce the length enough to make it less likely to slip out of my hands.

I much prefer a naked phone for the sleeker feel but kick myself if I dropped my Z10 and did damage that could of been prevented. I have an incipio case and it's as close to naked as you can get with a case on.

Posted via CB10

i hav @ lease 5 different cases...im sorry i like to change my case wit my mood!!! and when im @ work i tend to abuse my cell alot so i need the cases , protective screen saver, etc

Mine has adam's cover, is naked, haven't found a cover that I like, I know I'm taking a big chance but I take of it like it was a part of my body, we'll it is 'cause is attached to my hands

Posted via CB10

Hate cases. I'm a pocket person. The Torch was a pain, never stayed locked. The swipe to unlock is infallible.

So no pocket dialing and no pocket bulges......

Posted via CB10

Yeah I use a shell jelly like case that I got when I bought my Z10 but that doesn't the only thing they had in the store at Verizon but I'd like to have a blue or a green case with the BlackBerry logo on the back

White BlackBerry z10

For the protection of my BlackBerry Z10 an OtterBox Defender case surrounds the smartphone.

Posted via CB10 from the BlackBerry Z10

Oh, until BlackBerry makes a battery cover with integrated hand strap in the style of those car washing pads a case is a necessity for me.

Posted via CB10 from the BlackBerry Z10

Yes, OtterBox. Not just for falls, but for kiddos. Once I had to have a BB replaced b/c kiddos covered it w/ something.. not sure what, but it smelled good (even tho it didn't work) haha.

Diggin the naked phone. I wish I could have bought a red, blue or whatever other Phantom color will appear out of nowhere for the Z10

Posted via CB10

I have a tech21 Impact Shell in the semi-transparent smoky colour. 3DO protection that looks great and isn't unwieldy like an Otterbox.

Right now I have carbon fiber wrap around for daily use. And when I don't wanna carry my wallet, I have a pop in fold case that can hold cash and id.

Posted via CB10

I'm using the pouch to cover the body when it's in my pocket or when I'm eating on the table. If not, bare body of the phone on my hands is the best so far. It just suits well. Hence, no cover at all. No screen protector either.

I love the look of my Z10 bared then again I quickly ordered the BlackBerry flip case when I saw a drop test vidéo on YouTube.

But when showing it off to other people I remove it from the case so they can see how beautiful it is.

I got a case from T-Mobile that I like. It is very similar to the back but not quite at rubbery. It also has a stand which is great for using it with bedside mode.
It has a holster as well so I am happy with it. The one thing I would like is a leather holster that would fit it .

Posted via CB10

I normally do not use a case. However, i do use a holster when working in the field to protect my BlackBerry. Also, I find that I have too much stuff in my pockets when working in field and the holster guarantees that I know where my phone is.

Posted via CB10

I'm currently using the Chrome Incipio feather case, I like it because it still feels slim, but I feel this is coming off, probably going to get a pouch or holster, or both!!!

Posted via CB10

I bought my case as a part of a best buy bundle. The brand is a Pt. I like how it has two parts. The bottom half slips off first. I can still use my thumb to type and gesture. Gotta admit it is not the same feel as being naked. Lol!

Posted via CB10

I'm using the Otterbox Defender. And I've dropped the phone 3 times since I put the case on. So it's worth my initial investment. Lol.

Posted via CB10

No matter the case. As long as the edges are easy to swipe from. Saw someone using an Otter case and they struggled with swiping.

Posted via CB10

Crap... it should read that except for the flip cases, all cases / skins are black. Why cover up my WhiteBerry with black case? Why bother buying a black BlackBerry? Why are cases / skins only in black?

Posted via CB10

Screen protector and flip case. When this phone goes into my pocket, my keys are usually around to scratch the phone.

Posted via CB10

I rotate between the transform case, the flip shell case, the pouch and going without. I like the feel of the Z10 without a case but really don't want to risk damaging it..

Posted via CB10

I have always used an Otterbox Defender when I could, but I gotta say... they really dropped the ball on the holster for the Z10. Bad, ineffective design all around. Thank God the case protects the phone well, because mine has fallen out and hit the ground more times since I have had this case, than all my cases combined. a great case, which I need, but what is with the minimalist holster. If I buy an Otterbox, I expect something rugged enough to protect and hold my phone. And this defender holster barely holds the phone on the best of days. Very Very disappointed.and frustrated. In my work, I have to have a holster, but this one is anything but...

I currently have the KaysCase TurtleBox case on my Z10 and it's freakin' awesome. I also purchased a poetic atmosphere for later down the road.

CB10 on Verizon Z10

I love to fill the phone naked in my hand but i am scared off dropping it so i use a flip case original one during the day and when i arrive home i take it off...

Omg this feels good :)

Posted via CB10

I had gone case less for a week when a friend gave me his universal belt clip pouch. It was okay until I received a call and dropped it as I was pulling it out. Broken screen. The guys at tmo felt really sorry for me.

Posted via CB10

I just use the BlackBerry Genuine Leather Holster. But us UK BlackBerry Elites have a little issue. We have a limited edition BlackBerry Elite back cover and it made with Leather and when it on the phone it a very tight fit into the Leather Holster.

Posted via CB10

I would love to rock my Z10 naked but for the fear of dropping it and cause a major problem, I got an Incipio Feather case in pink from Shop Crackberry. The case is ok. It's grippy but not grippy enough (more like a slippy grip) and the top right corner is loose compared to the left side of the case. Also have it in a leather holster I picked up at Target.

Posted via CB10 on my Zee 10

The case isn't just about protecting or hiding the phone's beauty, but the pouch puts the phone to sleep and saves juice on the battery

Posted via CB10

No case for me. The Z10 just feels really awesome naked and of course looks great. I tried using a Pure Gear case for a little while but I took it off because I missed the feeling of the naked phone too much. Using a leather pocket pouch instead now.

I got a case mate and atmospheric case, casemate looks prettiest but atmospheric protects better

Red Transform Shell for my black Z10!

I have to say that the Transform Shell is the best case I have ever had for any phone I have owned. It does the job without being bulky and it comes with a screen saver. I use it in the "kickstand " position while charging it overnight in bedtime mode. Later on I may pick up a white version of this case to change things up a bit. I give it >

Posted via CB10

Always a case. I'm a bike messenger, and am constantly dropping my Z10 to the pavement at 40kph. God bless you, Otterbox.

Posted via CB10

I have a wallet cover on... I'm all about maximum protection.. I'd have a heart attack if I wrecked my z10..

Posted via CB10

I got 2 BlackBerry cases. But now I had full body Clear Coat with my Z10. It's nice to see the real beauty of the phone. I paid 130 aed for it with lifetime replacement according to the tc.

Posted via CB10

I considered the idea of getting a case. Yet, I prefer keeping my Z10 naked. It looks nice in the hands and the textured back allows for a good grip.

I may purchase a case later on... But, my waist holster will do fine for now.

Posted via CB10

I have the Otter box defender case but same times I take the case off to just look at how sexy the phone looks. I order a new case shows how the z10 looks.

Posted via CB10

Using the flip shell to keep the screen clean and battery saving. The flip back is also handy for holding on to while taking pictures. But why aren't there access points in the spine so you can charge with it closed????

Posted via CB10

Have all three OEM options and keep going back to the transform. I do have a flawless Zagg protector though.

A few days ago I dropped the phone with transform from 4ft onto tile and good as new.

Posted via CB10

No. Cases are yerk. Change your usage habits, like don't hold it over the toilet whrn flushing it. Nearly no case will protect you against your idiocy.

Grip it with all your hand and you should never drop it. Should. If you're accident prone...

Posted via CB10

As much as I'd prefer, aesthetically, to show off my Z10 naked, I want it protected. I really like the clean, slim fit of the BB Flip Case. Check out my avitar to see that I punch cut ( with a very sharp "instrument ") a hole to see the notification LED with the case closed.

Incipio DualPro. Initially I got it (before I had the phone!) just for protection. Now that I've been using it, I actually find it more comfortable to hold than nekkit. And it doesn't interfere with swipe gestures at all. Love the case and highly recommend it for anybody who's looking.

Does anyone know the best place to check out an Incipio Dualpro case?

I use the black color transform shell. Makes the Z10 bulkier but way better when dropped or putting in pockets and getting scratched by coins and keys etc.

Posted via CB10

I love cases.
This is a beauty that for sure looks better naked though.
I always take them off

Posted via CB10

Yeah.....an otterbox (with the stock plastic screen removed but using a non fingerprint screen protector) works great!!

Posted via CB10

The Z10 is my backup device behind my Galaxy Note 2 so when I'm using it I have on the BlackBerry Transform Shell and when I'm not using it I have it in a Mapi premium leather holster type case. I love the feel of the rubberized back plate on the black model I have though and wish I didn't worry about damaging it because it does feel so Damn great in the hand without a case on it. If you don't have the black model then I'd definitely go with a case because the backplate on the white feels terrible, the cheapest plastic feel ever on a device. If you haven't got the Z10 yet but going to buy one make sure you get the black, trust me.

considering my options at this point for a sleeve style pocket case to add a little protection. In the past I have been a sideholster user but I haven't see one i like yet for the Z10.

Desperately need a case. I prefer the phone without a case, however my work environment won't allow for it.

Been using my Z10 for 3 weeks and still naked, really love the feel and size of the device. I am however using the BlackBerry belt pouch and added a screen protector that I picked up at AT&T store.

Posted via CB10

I only use a case when I'm out and about. When I'm home I expose it because it is simply too beautiful to be hidden all day!!!

Posted via CB10

Would love to use it naked but I'm to afraid to damage it. The feel of the bare device is just exceptional :) Now to protect it I took the PoeticAtmosphere in Orange it's a beautiful case, it adds protection and colourful contrast.
Now I just need a Screen protector x) I also ordered the Flip Shell in red for the useful stand option and to change if I feel the need.

Posted via CB10

Having left my phone on the top of my car. Speed out of the supermarket and have it fly on the road I'm so happy I got a good case for my phone :)

Posted via CB10

5 cases thus far, 4 in hand; Case Mate-Rosewood, Barely There (Black),Tough Case (Black) and Poetic Atmosphere Case (Blue). The 1 on order is Vaja- Nuova Pelle Custom (Black). My Z10 will be here on Tuesday... Can't wait to try all the cases.

My naked BlackBerry is super sexy! But I don't like others lookin at her....so I cover her up ;)

Posted via CB10

Spigen leather holster for now waiting on my Poetic Atmosphere cases from Crackberry.com

Posted via CB10

After dropping my Torch 9800 and having to replace the screen and deal with all the chops and knocks the Z10 gets a blackberry flip case - well worth it!

Posted via CB10

Not much choice yet for Indonesia so I went and order one from eBay UK. Can't wait to dress my Z. Oh and no screen protector for me though!

Posted via CB10

I use a Seidio Active case and holder (Blue) .....Verizon White edition Z10 with an ismooth screen protector....Had to modify holster with a magnet since sleep function did not work well on original case....:D
