The BBM team has been adding a new batch of stickers pretty much a weekly basis for the past little while now and seems this week is no different. Two new BBM sticker packs are now showing in the BBM shop to choose from, both of which are priced at $1.99.

First up, Disney Villains have been added. So you can now get Cruella de Vil, Captain Hook, Jafar, Scar, Cheshire Cat and more. Especially nice if you're a little mischievous. I bought it for the Cheshire Cat alone.

Next up, the Paul Frank Industries pack. If the Paul Frank name itself doesn't ring any bells, maybe his character Julius the Monkey will. The loveable little monkey along with his friends are all over the place lately. On shirts, sweaters, pajama pants and wherever else a fun little monkey is required.

I do too...South Park...still the best sticker pack in my opinion...very close 2nd---WWF.

I also bought one other sticker pack "Work" which I like...here's the deal, I'm wondering when there will be a sticker pack that has NOTHING to do with human emotions.

Ex. NASCAR---with cars in their standard livery or NFL---with team logos. I was also thinking it would be cool to have some sticker sets that were like Baseball or Hockley cards, with player pictures and stats.

I'm just hoping that NOT every sticker set will be emotions with different characters AND...that there will be another South Park set.

Now thinking about it...WWF set was NOT an "emoticon" set, but it is the only one.

Would have been better if it was just Maleficent (Sleeping Beauty) the rest wish they were as bad@ss as her ;)

This has got to stop. This is just childish and I can't help but purchase stickers and use them to the point where I'm sure ppl are annoyed with me lol.
I was one to say before they were released that the price for the packs was too high because of the opportunity cost to purchase apps, but silliness beats practicality for me lol.

" On shirts, sweaters, pajama pants and wherever else a fun little monkey is required."
No admission of owning these pajama pants????

I never bought any of these and I know chances are that I might never do...(at least so long as I have my Q10...cramped screen) So I'm wondering: really, how many people buy these? The tradeoff is just so massive. There are some good apps priced lower than this... :s

The BBM team is not the handset or marketing team, left alone Enterprise. BlackBerry has several more or less independent divisions now.

And why are you so critical?
As if this could not also be seen as a valid marketing effort to gain some more popularity with insanely popular stuff?

You're reply is to the wrong comments

Loving my black Q10 and white Z10 and ordered the white Z30

So instead of responding to the negative news and negative sentiment (which has an impact on consumer and business sentiment) they release stickers.. maybe BlackBerry does deserve to starve and fail. Never ceases to amaze me, anyways here's to hoping for the best.

What news are you referring to? And you're right BlackBerry should just stop everything just to answer some questions about apple and IBM or black phone.

Got to take life less seriously. I'm over 40 and should know better, but I have stickers, and occasionally use them!

Business and adulthood is important, but it's not always fun. I need to shake up grown up sensibilities sometimes.

Don't take life too serious, or you won't make it ;-)

I already have 5 sticker packs and I will buy these. There are many people that buy sticker packs.

Now wouldn't that be funny, if BlackBerry sees its turnaround in fortunes just because of stickers and people like you. Go big :-)

I have 6 or 7 different sticker packs, 5 purchased. My native app collection is pretty good too!

From my Neutrino Powered Z10

The sticker packs are too much just for a set of dots at the bottom with no label. How can I tell which dot is the pack I want?
BlackBerry needs to assign each pack an icon so things can get more organized.

Reload your BBM. Something is very wrong. The Shopping cart should show you the sticker packs without any dots.

I'm curious about how many people actually buy these packs. I have the free set, but no bought sets. I'd love to see if they're making some good cash or just a few pennies.

Smileys have just been added to the BlackBerry 10 app, in messages. Give it some time and indeed stickerd and moods will be available too!

I won't be buying any more sticker packs until BlackBerry allow me to delete packs I no longer want. I want rid of the WWF pack but BlackBerry didn't think so far as to allow for unwanted packs to be deleted.

I bought a pack, I think. They're fun. Most of the packs available aren't really my style, but when packs that I like come out, I'll buy them. They make BBM fun.

I'd be MORE interested in sticker packs if they were animated. That would be really cool. A bbm-like service here in Korea called Kakao has animated stickers; which are a lot of fun.
