Russell Shaw over on his blog over at ZDNet.com is claiming that an engineer in San Francisco was given a heads up about the RIM outage two hours before last week’s BlackBerry outage actually occurred.
He had also been privy to information that e-mail activity was being disrupted two days prior to the outage as well, indicating that RIM knew about problems perhaps days earlier.
If that is the case, then RIM has a lot of ‘splainin to do. We’ll keep you updated.
