The original price is a good deal, but half off is a real miracle.
batrad Mar 23, 2010 at 3:43 pm
How about showing a little love for the 1.x users with a 50% off upgrade coupon ? The upgrade cost is almost the same as the new client for 50% off
jorGeorge Mar 23, 2010 at 5:30 pm
I agree. Please be fair!
wtom95831 Mar 23, 2010 at 3:43 pm
Is this program a lot better than Weatherbug Elite?
automan69 Mar 23, 2010 at 3:46 pm
No thanks...I will buy it when I see more weather advisories and alerts for any location NOT just within the U.S. Plus No ANIMATED RADAR MAPS outside of USA. Weathereye has animated maps. Maybe they should talk to them and see if weathereye would share.
DustBow Mar 23, 2010 at 3:50 pm
The free version is everything I need and I really like it - I imagine this is even better for hard-core weather people
chirmer#CB Mar 23, 2010 at 3:55 pm
I waited and waited, debating whether or not it was necessary... but at only $5, I was finally sold. I feel like a true BB user, with my QuickLaunch, Foppa theme and BerryWeather \o/
moonlessnight Mar 23, 2010 at 4:14 pm
If I buy this for my current BB and I get a new/different one would I have to buy it again? Or can I transfer it over? Thanks! :)
kaylasdad Mar 23, 2010 at 4:14 pm

I've been holding out on buying this app. The trial was gorgeous, but I'm so glad I didn't purchase it right away! Thank you so much CB Nation, you guys are amazing! Keep up the amazing work.
bjustice Mar 23, 2010 at 6:34 pm
I love this site! I have wanted this app but didn't want to pay 10 bucks. I can live with $5. Thanks crackberry!
MajikUF Mar 23, 2010 at 6:40 pm
It would be nice if the upgrade was a deal too. It's still $3.99.
AUgirl_inTX Mar 23, 2010 at 7:00 pm
This is the best app!! It definitely comes in handy with all the traveling I do for my job.
Snipperdo17 Mar 23, 2010 at 7:30 pm
I have a question..I constantly switch phones and buy the newest out, and I plan on getting the new Bold for Verizon when ever that comes. If I buy this and use my S2 or curve pin, will I have to rebuy this app, or can I just enter my new pin and it will give me a new code? Thanks in advance
jorGeorge Mar 23, 2010 at 8:25 pm
You can change your PIN through your MobiHand account and you will be provided with a new code.
moonlessnight Mar 23, 2010 at 9:11 pm
What's a MobiHand account? Cause I'm going to be switching to the new Bold too but I want to buy it now.
jorGeorge Mar 23, 2010 at 9:34 pm
Well if you've bought something from the CrackBerry app store then try using the details you used (email and password) to login at mobihand.com. You might not already have an account, but you should create one asap.
moonlessnight Mar 23, 2010 at 9:49 pm
So if I purchase something through the CB app store it will create a MobiHand account automatically? I'll toy around with it. :) Thanks!
jorGeorge Mar 23, 2010 at 9:53 pm
I'm not exactly sure if it will be created automatically. I kind of just stumbled on it. Just make sure that when you checkout you don't just checkout as guest.
moonlessnight Mar 23, 2010 at 9:55 pm
Well it looks like I can buy it directly from MobiHand for the same discounted price! :) I just don't want to pay for it and then lose it when I get a new phone lol.
justinuriah Mar 23, 2010 at 9:28 pm
50% off is a steal...
lurkmonster Mar 23, 2010 at 11:11 pm

Am I the only one whose order was delayed for security purposes? Cb emailed me after my purchase that they had to check the order to make sure I wasn't a fraud, and that if I didn't receive another email within 15 mins, I would have to reply with my phone # so they could call me to confirm. Well its been more than 15 mins and I replied twice with my #. Does anybody know how long it takes them to respond? I'm impatient and I wanna try this app out now...

I just realized that the deal is gone now because the timezone is central standard time for mobihand. Come on now, that's no fair for those of us on the west coast!
RHaroLA Mar 24, 2010 at 2:34 am

snoopy0011 Mar 24, 2010 at 2:00 am

peter_ng Mar 24, 2010 at 2:29 am

JustPlainJef Mar 24, 2010 at 6:11 am
Nice of them to put up something at 2:30 PM with a "deal of the day." I've been waiting for BerryWeather to go on sale, and I missed it.
The Consigliere Mar 24, 2010 at 10:09 am
For as much as I need the weather the free version works fine for me, I guess if you're always traveling & needs constant weather updates the paid version is the way to go but for me I'll just save the money & stick with the free one, it does everything I need.
Spankypoo Mar 24, 2010 at 12:36 pm
A "deal of the day" that's good for a few hours? Lame.
