BlackBerry Curve 8900

Time for a little break from all the Storm news. This is for all of you who are actually waiting for the BlackBerry Curve 8900! Made available yesterday on BlackBerry.com, the BlackBerry Curve 8900 device simulator is now available for all to grab. So if you want to get a fake "hands on" with the device (although I see it as just a big tease), be sure to head on over to the BlackBerry download site to get your fix.

I love that many people love the storm, but I'm holding out rather painfully for this device. It is, I believe the new 'berry for me. Thanks for keeping us updated.

I dont get it, do i select the very top version? Or do the versions represent the particular os of the handheld im wanting to "simulate". If thats the case, what version is the 9800?

If I remember correctly, it's the second one down in the pick list after the Storm.

But I think it depends on the type of phone that you have. Version 4.7.0 is the highest version supported by the Storm, and v4.6.1 is the highest version supported by the Curve.

So select a version, click "Next", and see if it's supported by your phone.

I haven't finished the download, yet, but that "8900" looks really promising.

Don't hate me you guys, but what exactly does this do? Is this something I can download to my current Curve 8310 on AT&T or is this something for my PC?

Basically, you download it to your pc, and you play around with it, like an in-store demo model.

To be honest, this new Curve is more tempting than the Storm but I am sure I would regret if I get this instead because I would feel like "I am not at the top of everything" a few months after. I know it is silly... but I easily get frustrated by iPod Touch. Hitting wrong keys ALL THE TIME.
