CTIA 2011 is now over and I'm literally flying home as I post this (gotta love GoGo Inflight!). Things were pretty quiet on the BlackBerry front as RIM chose to not have a big presence at this show (I guess BlackBerry World is just 6 weeks away afterall and everybody is hustling to get the PlayBook out the door between now and then). At least they did finally announce pricing and availability of the PlayBook and I did get some more hands-on time with the PlayBook and pulled together a few new videos and a few new insights (see my forum post).
With my downtime I took a closer look at Android devices than I normally do, and basically all of the new devices announced at CTIA were for Android, so that's what the majority of our talk is about in this Smartphone Experts podcast. But we also talk PlayBook (little later in the show) and about some of the other CTIA events that took place, like the actually good day one keynote that put the big wigs from Verizon, Sprint and AT&T all up on stage. If you've got an hour to kill this podcast is worth the listen!
** Note, I'm going to leave this one out of our regular CrackBerry podcast feed as the actual amount of BlackBerry talk is fairly minimal, so be sure to listen or download the file above **

BlackBerry PlayBook Calculator First Look!
[ youtube video link for mobile viewing ] I'm down in Orlando at CTIA 2011, and while it's a pretty quiet show for BlackBerry (so quiet that I was helping out Phil today on AndroidCentral.com - check my posts here) I did get to spend some time with the BlackBerry PlayBook and caught a gander of some of the native apps that are polishing up nicely as we near the PlayBook's launch. In...
