Crossy Road has been available for iOS devices for a couple of months now and it's been a massive hit. It recently also launched on Android and within just a day or so it then showed up in the Snap store where we can get it onto our BlackBerry 10 devices.

The concept of the game isn't really a new one, but the developers have done a glorious job with the colorful blocky graphics and smooth all round game play.

As the name of the game suggests, you need to move your character across the roads that are filled with moving vehicles. And just to complicate things there will also be rivers to cross, along with railway tracks which have some rather high speed trains running on them.

With Crossy Road being free there really isn't a reason not to give it a go. I've had this one running on my Z30 so feel free to sound off in the comments if you have any compatibility issues with other BlackBerry 10 devices?

Warning - you may well become addicted!

Features include:

  • Collect over 50 retro-styled, pop art inspired characters with more added

  • Cross roads, train tracks, and rivers – endlessly hop forever

  • Dodge traffic in a candy wonderland with the Android Robot

  • Simple, pure, innovative gameplay

  • Free to play
