Even though the BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha is a developer device (not a consumer phone), we're seeing a lot of discussion around it pop up in the good 'ole CrackBerry forums. So in true CrackBerry fashion, we've christened the new device by giving it its own forum. Hit the links below to join in on the BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha and BlackBerry 10 discussion.

Im always up for having one of those sent to me...

It's too bad that those of us who couldn't attend the conference are now stuck emulating the development alpha experience. I thought it was painful to wait on the PB to launch!

Curve 8330 CDMA (eww, I know, u/g to Torch soon!)
Winner of EA Mobile SE Playbook - rockin' it!

Actually, RIM is going on tour with BlackBerry Jam! registration isn't up yet though.

I really wish the users could help build a BB 10 phone. We have some of the most insightful ideas. I love the TK VICTORY although it looked funny without the call, menu, trackpad buttons, but I'm sure I'd get used to it. It was too thin in my opinion. Basically I would like to see a 99xx but 1/2" to 5/8" taller and 1/4" wider, slim down the call-menu-track pad button row just slightly 1/8" to provide a not only a larger screen but a more powerful processor and an exceptional battery life, oh and let's not forget the camera auto focus. Since I'm at it why not have a second led light, second convenience key and second speaker. That completes my BB 10 dream phone.

Minisd slot. Tkvictory has to be thicker to get the proper battery life. But other than that its perfect.

One of the complaints, yet though the TK Victory is just a concept, but was widely received was that it was indeed too thin being set at 8.5mm. I'm going to re-render it so it fit the 9.4-9.5mm bill. That I think would be ideal for a great battery...let's say...2000mAh...
Sound off @digitalhomeboy and let me know!

so are they actually going to release BB10 for the playbook too???

yes - RIM has already said so... but not until the first BB10 phone is released... so perhaps the end of 2012 - start of 2013

wish BB would pick longterm BB users to test new/upcoming devices...that would be so cool...

BB Curve
BB Storm
BB Storm2

This is the forum that the no talent clown Geller (aka BGR) should visit to whine about not getting one.

I love a BB, consider to dev some apps. But waiting for BB10 SDK
