* Update - December 24th, 2009: Christmas Eve is upon us, so we're re-stickying this post for the day. If you haven't left a comment yet for your chance to win a custom-painted BlackBerry Bold 9700, do it now! *

It wouldn't feel like the holiday season were upon us if we didn't hold some sort of contest that gave one of our loyal readers the chance to win a brand spank'n new BlackBerry Smartphone. And just to make sure the BlackBerry prize is extra special this year, our jolly old friends at ColorWare are going to provide our grand prize winner with a custom-painted BlackBerry Bold 9700 (winner picks the color scheme!). In addition, the grand prize winner will also win one of our awesome Accessory SuperBundles for the Bold 9700 and we'll also be awarding some great BlackBerry-stocking stuffers to a few lucky runner-up contestants courtesy of ShopCrackBerry.com.

How to Enter: To enter for your chance to win, simply login to CrackBerry.com and leave a comment to this blog post. Please leave only one comment as only one entry per username will be counted. Dear Crackberry,
As most of you already know, I am an addict to my blackberry. I have had a curve 8900 for the past year. Just last night my phone was deemed defective. I have had a couple defective phones before and I know that the replacement process is quite easy. Once it was deemed defective my service provider told me that I was 4 days out of warranty, it's one thing if your 3 weeks out of warranty and they won't replace it. but 4 DAYS. I was very angry. My options would be to "upgrade" to a consumer phone (not a smartphone) or to pay for a new one. I do not have the money to buy a new phone. I can not afford a new one. This is why I would really like this blackberry. SO... PLEASE CRACKBERRY DO ME THIS ONE FAVOUR AND LET ME WIN THIS ONE CONTEST, (I have not won any contests before) I have been a crackberry reader since, before I got my first blackberry. I love reading about blackberry news and I only come to crackberry to hear it. So santa berry (santa clause of blackberrys), please grant me my wish and get me a new phone so I do not have to downgrade to a consumer phone, Oh by the way the defect is so bad that I can't even use the phone. It was my first blackberry so... I don't have a dinosaur to go back to.

oh my it is just like being a kid again Christmas morning and running down stairs and finding that great gift. But instead I will wake up and check crackberry and see my name winning the colorware bold. That would be awesome! My family will look at me all weird when I am jumping around screaming and laughing with joy but they know I am a addict and it will be another weird think daddy does.
