This is great for when you travel and don't need/want your wallet. You can't text or email with your wallet anyway, so why bring it.

I used to use a case similar to this for my phone, then I received a new case as a gift and felt that I had to use it. So I gave it away, big mistake! Best thing about this case is if you travel alot, and frequent hotels, you can use it to carry your key card to the pool, hot tub, etc. I never take my wallet or keys to the pool area, but always take the phone. Nice easy way to make sure you get back into your room!
