With BlackBerry 7 Smartphones already on the market and much of CrackBerry Nation having already upgraded to the latest phones available, we decided the ultimate BlackBerry present to give away this Christmas would be something not yet available.

The Prize: 2012 will bring forth the release of the next generation of BlackBerry - the BBX Smartphone (or SuperPhone as I like to call it). We've already seen photos of the first BBX BlackBerry, which goes by the codename "london", and while it hasn't been officially announced yet, we know it's coming early in the year and that's what we're giving away! That's right. This holiday season one lucky CrackBerry member will win an IOU for a free BBX BlackBerry. As soon as it's available for purchase, we'll buy one and get it to you, just like that.

This is a great contest ... Although any BBX phone would be great, is this contest for the first one released or will it be open for newer ones as they are released? Either way, great contest, great website for crackberry addicts, and lets hope 2012 is a record year for RIM!

Whether how much I deserve to win the excellent BB! I've remained a loyal fan of RIM and the BlackBerry platform, but I think most of us can admit to being a little disheartened by all of the bad news surrounding the company as of late. despite this however, BlackBerries remain my favorite phones from a design stance (not just black bricks with a screen in the middle) and i'm excited to see what sort of surprises RIM has in store for us in the near future in order to reassure us that it's still very much a player in the mobile race.
so with that i say; "Pick me! Pick me! Pick ME!!

I am truly pulling for RIM and I hope this new BBX superphone will be what all us loyal Blackberry users have been waiting for. I am getting pressure from EVERYBODY to dump this "uncool" BB Curve 8520 (in their words) for Apple or Android. I have been standing stubbornly firm and was waiting for the new BOLD to come out on AT&T's network which finally debuted a few weeks ago. My curve is freezing and I will need a new phone soon! I finally started second guessing myself when my husband introduced me to Siri on his brand new Apple4s. With Siri maybe I don't need a keyboard! However battery life on 4s is very poor and I am spoiled with my BB. Then a week later we go to Disney World.....my daughter pulls out her Droid Incredible 2 and has a great App for Disney World that tells you wait times for the best rides and more and my poor phone can't download it. Made me feel that my sad BB was indeed a jeep racing with two Porches. I could not compete. However, here I am today, still hoping I don't have to give up my BB. Hoping that surely RIM sees how quickly we are falling behind and need to be great and the best out there again..and very very soon! As we know, the world won't wait too long if at all.

Christmas List Playbook - Why - Oh that's right - I do not own one yet, hmmmmm maybe never. Reasoning - 1. the economy makes it impossible for me to buy one, even at a discounted rate. 2. Even being a long time BB user, I am getting wearrrrrry of lack of innovation. We are getting bits of information about what is to come - Hmmmmm, the hope and change routine. All the other phone manufactures seem to put out new technology at a much more rapid rate than RIM. Now I need to upgrade my tired Storm2, if I upgrade to OS7, I will be wasting two years of upgrade for presently outdated soft and hardware. RIM - give me a reason to be loyal. I could be bribed to stay if I had a BXX Phone. THEREFORE, I need to win the Phone.

Sadly, both the new bolds(9900. 9780) are missing something or the other for me e.g auto focus, size, design, HD recording to name a few.

seasons greetings, i would love to have this under my tree , i have never won anything major and i am a blackberry user , very dedicated to my blackberry as a matter of fact. and crackberry is the only way to go when shopping and spoiling my blackberry. my birthday is december 15th, the big 50. i would love to have this as a reminder for 50th birthday, love all your awesome giveaways too.

I dont mind getting a bbx phone for free or having to pay for it. All i ask is that RIM get their act together and push for better mobile and tablet technology. I've lost 3 friends of mines to iphones and that was all due to the service outage that happened. RIM needs to get back on their feet. I am a die hard RIM fan and i wanna protect my Canadian company from all the negativity i get about blackberry phones. So if RIM is reading this post!! PLEASE PLEASE Dont let me and other crackberry nation supporters down!!
