It wasn't all that long ago that the official Twitter for BlackBerry app didn't exist and us BlackBerry users had no choice but to seek out and use a third party twitter client (see our ultimate twitter cilent roundup). And even with T4BB now out and getting a lot of use, I still see a lot of BlackBerry tweets coming from third party apps like UberSocial (formerly UberTwitter), and I know I personally use SocialScope (which is still in beta).
So I'm curious to know, CrackBerry Readers, which Twitter app is your favorite these days, and why? Vote on the poll above, and then let us know in the comments why a particular app is your favorite. Is it that Twitter for BlackBerry is good for basic tweeters and UberSocial wins the power tweeter award? Or do you favor one over the other for another reason? Have you used one app the whole time, or have you swapped between them and picked your favorite? Or maybe you just hate twitter altogether and think it's stupid (that's ok, tweeters won't be offended). Wherever you're at with the twitter, we want to know. Oh, and don't forget to follow @crackberry (and i'm @crackberrykevin). I'm curious to see the poll results and comments on this one, so have at it!
theninjew Mar 3, 2011 at 2:51 pm
why dont u have tweetissimo on the list? best twiiter clients ever #ftw
tbwoy Mar 3, 2011 at 2:53 pm
how do i get tweetissimo ?? im been waiting for it to come out for a long time
ab0rt Mar 3, 2011 at 5:21 pm
Totally with you! Been wanting to grab Tweetisimo for a while and give it a whirl ever since I heard about it this summer but haven't had the pleasure yet.
scuebydue Mar 4, 2011 at 8:52 am
You have to go to themobizone and purchase Issimo.
raiderfan#CB Mar 3, 2011 at 2:56 pm
Because they took exclusivity way beyond Socialscope....
tbwoy Mar 3, 2011 at 3:04 pm
well i think they need to fix that ... what good is an app if ppl cant use it... sheesh its been coming for to long now
BooGie_P Mar 3, 2011 at 9:41 pm
do you know where I can download tweetissimo I been looking for it forever
DJLILM Mar 3, 2011 at 2:51 pm
t4bb and ubersocial
patrikfeng Mar 3, 2011 at 2:52 pm
official original Twitter app because its conected with social feeds
32atHC Mar 3, 2011 at 2:52 pm
Twitter for blackberry is good enough, simple and stable.
FlyHigh365 Mar 3, 2011 at 3:43 pm
Agreed.
diegonei Mar 3, 2011 at 4:27 pm
Add to that it is made by RIM and the next version will have geotagging. They managed to keep it simple and stable while adding good features.
Can't go wrong like this.
RHoltslander Mar 3, 2011 at 2:53 pm
I tried ubersocial and seesmic but the I prefer the BB app better. It has no ads and it's simple to use and quick to load.
ju1ce Mar 3, 2011 at 2:56 pm
Social Scope because you can mute users AND phrases. I have a friend who goes crazy RT'ing #teamfollowback all day long to get followers, so I muted that hashtag and never have to see it. I also like it because you can swipe left and right to open your TL, profile, mentions, etc. And you can save drafts for those late night ideas that you'd rather post when people are actually awake.
pozi240 Mar 3, 2011 at 3:18 pm
Absolutely! I've used quite a few third party Twitter apps on BB's, Android and iOS platforms, and all of them get the job done. But, for me, SocialScope is just way more comprehensive and allows you to check multiple social media accounts (FB, Twitter, Foursquared, etc.) by only opening one app and you can swipe sideways from one account to the next, not to mention all of the added advanced functionality that ju1ce has mentioned. I'm glad they have finally started giving out a LOT more invites to the seemingly eternal "Beta" status. Pretty much anyone who has asked for an invite code, has gotten one.
maniac2403 Mar 3, 2011 at 9:20 pm
It'a been over a year for me and I still haven't got the socialscope invite :/
scuebydue Mar 4, 2011 at 8:51 am
email me. scuebydue at gmail dot com
I'll give you an invite.
missenvy Mar 3, 2011 at 2:55 pm
I use UberSocial because I like the layout and its smoothness. I also use the paid version to avoid the ads, theres nothing wrong with actually paying for a quality product :)
vbev84 Mar 3, 2011 at 2:57 pm
When social scope recently opened up for everyone I signed right up. However when TFBB. Updated I went right back to the native app. Its clean, fast, and everything I want/need out of a twitter application. I use social scope as well but majority of the time I use T4vv
757EliasHZ Mar 3, 2011 at 2:57 pm
Finally got Social Scope invite, and I see what all the fuss is about. It's nice to have Facebook, Twitter, and Foursquare integrated all in one stream. I've also found it more stable than the the ones I used previously, Twitter for Blackberry and UberTwitter.
XWolf Mar 3, 2011 at 2:57 pm
WHY is there no option for using the mobile twitter site? Works and looks great in os6 browser...
cmcichon Mar 3, 2011 at 2:58 pm
T4BB, and currently testing v1.1. Pretty sweet and stable even for a beta app, and I really like the push @mentions.
Jaredius Mar 3, 2011 at 2:59 pm
I preferred Uber for the "Everyone Near Me" feature and having it on my berry menu (I could hide the Uber icon) for quick access. But now the "Everyone Near Me" feature spits the error "We could not determine your current location!" every time I try to use it even though my settings for location are the same and all other location dependent apps (Google Maps, 4Square, etc.) work fine.
The_Adventist Mar 3, 2011 at 3:01 pm
I use SocialScope because it does the job best for me. I prefer an app that does multiple jobs and SocialScope does it.
If they would just integrate Google Chat and Yahoo Messenger into the mix it would be the ultimate social app (for me anyway).
nosivad79 Mar 3, 2011 at 3:02 pm
UberSocial - its hands down better than T4BB. My biggest gripe for T4BB is the fact it doesn't identify which tweets are new vs ones i've read. US loads way faster and leaves me off where I last read so I don't miss much. It also indents and uses a different colour for DM and mentions.
K_Daddy Mar 3, 2011 at 3:36 pm
It saves my # tags and searches. And it tells me how many tweets are new.
dougswass Mar 3, 2011 at 3:02 pm
I have to use ubersocial because the official twitter app is blocked by my company. UberSocial's timeline is the best of any mobile twitter client I have used.
Groundhog_Day Mar 3, 2011 at 3:03 pm
I use Twitter for Blackberry v1.1.0.16 from beta zone. I love it.
chaz_cb Mar 3, 2011 at 3:03 pm
SocialScope. UI is awesome, mute feature, and frequent updates. Excellent app from an excellent developer.
Michelle Haag Mar 3, 2011 at 3:25 pm
Well said. +infinity on this one.
I'll add keyboard shortcuts, tons of customization (including a bunch of all new things added yesterday) plus integration with Foursquare, FaceBook, Flickr, and you can have 2 Twitter accounts.
Jamaicangirl81 Mar 3, 2011 at 3:07 pm
UBERSOCIAL - I have tried them all.... Uber has the best UI to me. Has more customizations in terms of how the app looks with the different themes and fonts. The ability to Retweet with a comment is very neccessary to me. i just /LOVE it
jlb21 Mar 3, 2011 at 3:08 pm
UberSocial.
#winning
howarmat Mar 3, 2011 at 3:09 pm
Issimo!
l1ghtn1ng Mar 3, 2011 at 3:11 pm
I bought Ubersocial about a week ago. I've been switching between the (leaked) twitter for bb and ubersocial. I like some features from ubersocial but twitter for bb just works so well. Its a much smoother experience in my opinion
NoArmsJames Mar 3, 2011 at 3:11 pm
SocialScope for me. Clean, fast, and feature-rich.
Laura Knotek Mar 3, 2011 at 4:34 pm
I like that SocialScope opens at last read. The native RIM Twitter app does not. ÜberSocial has annoying ads.
NoArmsJames Mar 3, 2011 at 3:11 pm
SocialScope for me. Clean, fast, and feature-rich.
SnoopTodd Mar 3, 2011 at 3:12 pm
I love UberSocial. I love the look and smoothness of the UI. T4BB I found lacking. I always had trouble with it not leaving me off where I last read, and I just don't like the look of it.
khal Mar 3, 2011 at 3:37 pm
that's another reason i love UberSocial - T4BB takes you all the way to the top upon refresh, which is very annoying.
Mario_Brewed_For_Thought Mar 3, 2011 at 5:44 pm
No Facebook integration on T4BB. I like to have one app to rule them all
djbtm Mar 3, 2011 at 3:16 pm
its hard to say i use social feeds and social scope to look at my feeds social feeds mainly for rss now but i also use T4BB
kaylasdad Mar 3, 2011 at 3:17 pm
I use Blaq (@blaq) and love it! I also have T4BB installed as well but don't use it much
Bigpoint Mar 3, 2011 at 3:17 pm
I send & receive text messages to and from Twitter since I don't have the browser feature on my phone and it works just fine thank you.
DrewCPU Mar 3, 2011 at 3:18 pm
I'm a SocialScope fan because I can select groups of users that I want to notify me when they tweet/checkin/facebook update. I follow too many people on Twitter who I only like to read when I'm at my computer, but I like knowing when my friends and family post things.
I also like that it combines facebook, foursquare, flickr, and twitter into a single feed
thoughthalo Mar 3, 2011 at 3:19 pm
Twitter for blackberry because of its integration with social feeds which is critical for me
crigga84 Mar 3, 2011 at 3:19 pm
I tried Ubersocial but found it to have too many options and the layout to be messy. Twitter for Blackberry is neater. Would like to try some others.
Israel1319 Mar 3, 2011 at 3:20 pm
right now i am using Seesmic b/c I have found it to be the smoothest one on OS 6.0 for 9700. Although I hate the fact that there is no Friends List pop up when you do the "@" symbol, I have hit up Seesmic several times abt this but to no avail.
dazednfazed Mar 3, 2011 at 3:22 pm
Socialscope hands down with its facebook integration along with inbox integration, makes it a winner.
Bajanbastard Mar 3, 2011 at 3:28 pm
T4BB beta is pure win for me.
luqman24 Mar 3, 2011 at 3:28 pm
Both Social Scope and T4BB
Israel1319 Mar 3, 2011 at 3:28 pm
Just to add to my last post, I am super looking forward to the refresh of Blaq!
hrphotoman Mar 3, 2011 at 3:28 pm
T4BB most of the time. Social Scope the rest. Had Uber, then they left, then the same day SS gave out instant invies. No need for three apps that do the same thing.
dmann96 Mar 3, 2011 at 3:40 pm
Sooooo many choices ...
Personally I like T4BB. The newest build in the BetaZone is nice especially on BlackBerry6. I just wish it had multiple account support.
SocialScope I like, but the UI just lacks polish to me. It is feature rich but the boring UI holds it down from being number 1.
UberTwitter(Social) always, no matter how many times I try or device I use, eats the crap out of my battery.
Seesmic too simple, needs more features.
HootSuite I have been using and really, really like their concept. The beta is sometimes hard to chew but I think this will ultimately be my client in the end. Their Beta has been the best in terms of being able to communicate with them via their twitter support account. Plus, it has a web client. And, I love all-in-ones as well (foursquare, linkedin, facebook, multiple twitter accounts)
Blaq is nice but I use it mainly to tweet music I am listening to. Looking forward to what Hamrick will bring in the updated version. His concepts are good just needs a more refined product.
Tweetissimo is worse than SocialScope in terms of restrictive beta and BritshTurbo is an Android loser who rips BlackBerry even though he used to have a site focused on it.
joeldf Mar 3, 2011 at 3:31 pm
I don't do twitter. So I don't use any client.
It's not that I hate it, because I don't. It's just that I've yet to find a use for it. Or a reason to even be there. I've never even visited the site so I don't even know what's involved. All the juicy tweets, I can find out about in the media.
Heck, I only post to my Facebook page maybe once every two months.
shosheezy Mar 3, 2011 at 3:32 pm
I've been using UberTwitter since I joined Twitter. When it went down for a few days thanks to all that violations crap, I had to resort to downloading T4BB. It SUCKS!!!!! While I do think the layout, graphics, and overall look is better than UberSocial, here's why UberSocial RULES (as a few have stated above):
1) Better scrolling
2) Ability to see what tweet you last read (and not have to scroll down in an attempt to find it)
3) Ability to RT and edit the original post/add your own comments
4) Color-coded DMs and @ mentions
The ads are a bit annoying, but I barely even it now (the one at the bottom is all there is).
AlioTheFool Mar 3, 2011 at 3:36 pm
I have installed the "official" Twitter for BlackBerry app on three different phones now, and it has wrecked all three. I despise it completely.
I tried SocialScope a couple of weeks ago when Twitter shut off access to UberTwitter, but found it to be a battery killer.
I use UberSocial. It's simply the best Twitter client on the BlackBerry platform. I like Seesmic, but it takes more actions to do things like e-mail a tweet, so I stick with Uber.
khal Mar 3, 2011 at 3:36 pm
UberSocial, because for me it's the closest to the Twitter site. Once they fixed their battery issues 2 years ago, I was sold. I've tried Seesmic (seems almost too lite), Twitter for BB (which is only great if you utilize it on a newer model phone) and a number of others, but find UberSocial to be the most complete BB twitter app.
FlyHigh365 Mar 3, 2011 at 3:45 pm
I use the Twitter for Blackberry. Currently using the beta app.
Tonys_Grl84 Mar 3, 2011 at 3:46 pm
I'm a UberSocial girl. I don't mind the ads, I love that the DMs and @ tweets are right in your timeline and are a different color. I love the hash tag save feature and the Mute feature. I have a friend who I can stand her tweets, but she'd get pissed if I took her off my list. So I just mute her & never have to see her tweets unless I'm on the computer. :)
I do hate however that since UberTwitter became UberSocial, I had to change my account from private to public just to tweet pictures on the go.
kraski Mar 3, 2011 at 3:52 pm
There are two that I'm surprised aren't in the list. HootSuite is available for every smartphone OS that's popular. Snaptu will run on any phone that supports java & it works really well on my Torch.
ffejie Mar 3, 2011 at 3:53 pm
T4BB, I'm an UberSocial convert. A few things are nice about the T4BB beta:
1. Push @replies, push DMs - this is the biggest
2. Better battery life - doesn't seem to run in the background and suck battery life
3. Geolocation, Top Trends and pictures are at least on par with UberSocial
4. DM integration into messages box makes it easy to reply to a DM.
So far UberSocial still wins on:
1. Alert customization (mini-icon, alert on app icon) and audio alerts for new tweets in some profiles
2. Integrating @replies into main timeline
3. Themes
CocoaBlossom Mar 3, 2011 at 3:58 pm
I've tried lot Seesmic, the official app, socialscope, but my fav is Ubersocial. I use the paid version. I like the design, the RT, the Fact I can mute some users, the trending topics, the possibility to post more than 140 caracters.
R1cowl Mar 3, 2011 at 3:58 pm
T4BB Because it works well. It does everything I need.
otaku2 Mar 3, 2011 at 4:20 pm
Openbeak. Installed it after the uber fiasco and haven't gone back.
ETW11 Mar 3, 2011 at 4:26 pm
I keep going back and forth between T4BB and UberSocial. I love everything that UberSocial offers, especially preserving your place in the timeline and the UberChannels. However, I think I'm going to stay with T4BB only, and because of one reason: battery impact. UberSocial kills my battery no matter what I do. I think RIM develops their apps with battery effect in mind at all times, which isn't a bad philosophy. It may mean no timeline preservation, but I'll take the benefit of having ample battery instead.
bobby0724 Mar 3, 2011 at 4:37 pm
UberSocial is a great app but i dont like the ads, so i use t4bb becaus is integrated in social feeds, i havent try socialscope i will give it a chance
Paulzmbie Mar 3, 2011 at 4:42 pm
i use btalk ,just because its small, less than 100KB
farico Mar 3, 2011 at 4:51 pm
I use Twitter for blackberry just for one reason... it's in my native language... ESPAÑOL!!!
I don't have any problem writing and reading in english but I really hate when there's an app that is used by a lot of ppl who speaks spanish and the developers does not create a new version in my language....
that's my real reason...
DIPPYNA2 Mar 3, 2011 at 5:04 pm
I use Uber Social for my BB Tour, I found it easier and able to pick friend's name and RT and also edit it at the same time.
ab0rt Mar 3, 2011 at 5:26 pm
I use UberSocial - I had tried all of the above mentioned ones before, except Tweetissimo, as well as HootSuite Beta for BlackBerry which isn't on this list, and always preferred UberTwitter (when I tried all the other ones it was still UberTwitter).
Over the weekend of UberTwitter's suspension and rebranding as UberSocial I once again tried all of the above mentioned apps - again, except Tweetissimo but including HootSuite Beta for Blackberry and immediately went back to UberSocial pretty much the minute I was aware of its release.
I even tried the new Official Twitter for BlackBerry from the Beta Zone and quickly went back to UberSocial.
McNooberson Mar 3, 2011 at 5:43 pm
Socialscope. Tried everything else listed, nothing merges the social networks like socialscope. And it has a cool icon :P
rrrebo Mar 3, 2011 at 6:03 pm
SocialScope, going on about 2 years, now. I use it for Twitter, FB, and Flickr. It's clean, no clutter, no ads, has integrated Twitlonger and bitli.fy support. It performs well, does what I need it to, and it allowed me to delete Ubertwitter and the awful FB app that locked up my entire device. It handles lists, searches, and allows me to MUTE, by user, keyword, or application. It integrates with the OS and gives me "Send to Socialscope" options for links, pics, etc... I like having a single app that does so much.
I also currently have 5 invites to give out. ;)
Kerzhan Mar 3, 2011 at 6:17 pm
T4BB does it for me... simple, easy, integrated, has all the features I need.
ianchristie1972 Mar 3, 2011 at 6:26 pm
I've been using the "official" twitter client for a while but did start with ubertwitter and only switched becausre I figured the official might be best. Now I stick with it for the social feeds integration because I now have BB6 on my 9700.
I'd love to find out what advantages the other clients offer compared to Twitter for BlackBerry.
BayVol Mar 3, 2011 at 6:44 pm
I use T4BB because I wanted something different. I used to use Uber but once they had that "hiccup" I started to use T4BB and have stayed with it ever since.
skyboxer Mar 3, 2011 at 7:03 pm
I still haven't found the perfect client. Ubersocial comes close, but lacks inbox integration and push. T4BB has great push but isn't implemented as well as it should be (why put a notification in the inbox when you can just put the whole mention there?). Socialscope's UI is just bland to me, but I've heard an upgrade is coming up. TWeetissimo has the inbox integration and push I want but the client itself doesn't support twitlonger, and hasn't been updated in 3 months. So I use tweetissimo for the push ans inbox integration only, and ubersocial or T4BB or Socialscope for timeline reading. Yes I do have too many twitter clients on my phone, and love having all this extra memory to use.
Quantum_007 Mar 3, 2011 at 7:07 pm
I use Twitter for BlackBerry; very clean interface and never had a problem with it.
stevejb Mar 3, 2011 at 7:08 pm
'coz it's a RIM item and I was part of beta testing. It works so that's cool.
cputoys Mar 3, 2011 at 7:23 pm
Ubertwitter mainly because it allows editing retweets. It's a must have, "old style twitter" feature. I use T4bb occasionally. Hey, I remember using Twitter Berry. Where's that one?
benny215 Mar 3, 2011 at 7:26 pm
I've tried them all and am stuck on UberSocial. T4BB is missing some key features and SocialScope just seems too bulky for me. Uber just seems to have the most features in the tightest little package.
Hopefully they bring T4BB up to date because I like it's look and feel the best but can't go without certain features that Uber has.
mconnell100 Mar 3, 2011 at 7:33 pm
I have a twitter account for friends and family and one for following and posting about technology.. I use ubersocial because it easily manages multiple twitter accounts and I like being able to customize the background and text colours, blacked out looks sexy!
Dre5025 Mar 3, 2011 at 7:43 pm
T4BB All Day, I use Uber for multi accounts but that's rare.
javatyger Mar 3, 2011 at 7:54 pm
I started using SocialScope after the issues with UberSocial aka Ubertwitter happened. A friend on Twitter recommended I give Social Scope a try; since then, I've never looked back.
The reasons why I love SocialScope:
- Two Twitter accounts - I manage my own personal one and a one for a sports team. So having both available at the same, the ability to post to both at the same time, is a great feature.
- Facebook and Foursquare integration - frank and honest, Foursquare ver1.9.62 is too buggy on my Torch, and just needs some improvement. So been able to replace Facebook and Foursquare is great. :)
Additionally, with Facebook been included, I can been signed into my account in Socialscope, and Facebook for BlackBerry for the sports team. :)
So for me, SocialScope wins, because other apps don't offer me the same convienence as SocialScope.
MrHelyar Mar 3, 2011 at 7:55 pm
A few weeks after getting SocialScope I deleted by Twitter for BB and Facebook for BB. Like SS for both sites and until BB4F comes out with 2.0 I will stay with SS
bigjman Mar 3, 2011 at 8:24 pm
Had to go back to socialscope because blackberry betazone is taking their sweet time with my key code fot the blackberry twitter new beta! I like the way the official app is integrated into the blackberry (tweet from the message folder, @ hyperlinks and hash tags take you straight to the app when clicked, push @ and dm's) but since they're playing with that keycode, I'm using socialscope because I feel it's the next best twitter app. But reading the comments and being that I've tried every other blackberry twitter app out there, I'm curious about that Tweetissimo now.
jwsnj3rd Mar 3, 2011 at 9:01 pm
I use the blackberry twitter beta
jbeek Mar 4, 2011 at 12:08 am
I like T4BB's simple and to-the-point UI, although it scrolling to the top of the list upon refresh (and not marking old tweets as read) is a pain.
I've also tried SS and I like the all-in-one aspect and that it remembers where you were in the list, but being in beta, it still has some issues too. I don't like it starting automatically upon reboot (should be an option). It doesn't autologin upon startup once you've logged out (should be an option). When you scroll down the page with the spacebar it sometimes scrolls past small (2- or 3-line) entries. Muting works only sporadically. Pictures don't zoom.
So for the time being I'm back to T4BB ...
calyth Mar 4, 2011 at 12:09 am
But they didn't seem to use push. Switched to twitter for bb to extend battery life.
dakid72 Mar 4, 2011 at 12:17 am
I was always partial to Uber-twitter, uh excuse me, Uber-Social because of a few reasons, out the box it could shrink tweets for me, lets me retweet by letting me add on without having to copy and paste like the old t4bb, and i can still do most of the things that t4bb can do, but its just streamlined a little and i can have different themes (colors) for UberSoc.
T4BB isnt bad UberSoc just gave it a little ummph and i like it
n8ivegurl Mar 4, 2011 at 2:34 am
I use UBERSOICAL... I love it! When I wanna tweet somthing quick I use tweeker.
takuma089 Mar 4, 2011 at 2:45 am
Voted for Twitter For BlackBerry And UberSocial. because T4BB is an official app from RIM. and ubersocial has some features that T4BB doesn't. haha
jezreel Mar 4, 2011 at 7:45 am
I love social scope ! Its integration is awesome and quick . Its very practical as a client and so much more .. Try it !
DustBow Mar 4, 2011 at 8:33 am
I always used Uber because everyone raved about it - so I just started w/ that.
Then when Uber was down, I tried T4BB and was pleasantly surprised with it.
Currently I have both but I think I still prefer Uber - I like the "next unread message" feature and it seems to "remember my place" better.
blak8830 Mar 4, 2011 at 8:50 am
I'd use T4BB if it returned you to last read tweet like Ubersocial does - I don't need all of Uber's "extras"
authyntic Mar 4, 2011 at 9:31 am
UberSocial, I like the app better than twitt for bb. I also like the fact that I can personalize it some witht he theme and font options.
the brother Mar 4, 2011 at 10:08 am
Social Scope FTW!~ It's clean and I can set the update frequency. Lately, the inbox integration has been a lil whacked but I am sure they will fix it! Hey it's some pretty slick sh!t for BETA!!!!!!!!!!
Maestrodog Mar 4, 2011 at 11:57 am
Socialscope has some advantages but is garbage to me because of it's security demands on the device, total lack of privacy policy and insane beta/privacy weirdness. Lord only knows what they do with people's information.
Uberwhatever loses for ads and for violating Twitter. The Blackberry client wins, although Blaq and Seemsic are prettier, Blaq has some great ideas and I'm surprised not to be seeing it here more.
There are others that no one's mentioning as well, but I repeat: Social Media is a dangerous place for privacy loss of massive import. Best to know who you are in bed with.
DJ G.MAC Mar 4, 2011 at 12:14 pm
I'm a @SocialScope fan! Best way to keep up with Twitter, Facebook, AND Foursquare at the same time! @DJGMAC
rmarcucci#CB Mar 4, 2011 at 12:21 pm
I have the paid version ÜberSocial but I'm using right now the beta version of T4BB because the pull DM and mentions feature. I like the US interface and social scope scrolling speed but it's a matter of function over form...
ransonju Mar 4, 2011 at 3:19 pm
I like SocialScope but I keep shifting back to UberSocial. It never forgets my place in the timeline and SS does sometimes. That bugs me and is why I don't use T4BB. I love the consolidation of accounts in SS though.
barkhov Mar 5, 2011 at 10:02 am
Used ubertwitter before it got banned, then switched to t4bb. When ubersocial came out I was already too lazy to redownload uber since I already got what I need from t4bb (I'm not a twitter power user btw). I tried social scope but failed to get what it's so special about and 2 mb is a precious app space on my bold 9000.

My company's forward and ultra-modern IT department somehow finds "value-added applications" like Twitter a security threat (don't ask me why and how - don't understand why would RIM guys allow IT guys to tweak Twitter of all things ??) - hence, have to use UberSocial, hope they don't get naughty with Twitter peepz again !!

I like to use ubersocial but since they updated, I'm having trouble sending pics through ubersocial. I use twitter for bb for sending pics that's the only use why I use t4bb. I dnt care 4 twitter bb.
