What's this? A CrackBerry Podcast? But it hasn't been two weeks since our last one??? Dang straight! Since it's CrackBerry Birthday Week and we've had lots of excitement over the past few days with all of the BlackBerry slider stuff in the blogs, we decided to jump on the ole CrackBerry Radio and get a bonus Special Edition episode recorded.

What I would REALLY love to see is a kickass touchscreen Smartphone from RIM that can compete with the iPhone, which I am unlikely to EVER own since Apple insists on sticking with AT&T.

Great podcast guys.. on the topic of the BB slider, i agree with the concerns Adam and Bla1ze have, about it being top heavy etc, might be a bit uncomfortable to type on if so. I guess we'll know for sure when you guess get your hands on it.
Great lil history about CB too.. cool! you guys should be proud, alot of hard work done on a daily basis and its only getting better and better! keep up the good work. Great podcast.

Oh, i also checked out the video about the 87xx Otterbox review... lol.. couldn't beleive that was Kevin. lol.. cool. on another note, keep it over an hour, longer the better, no matter the topic!

Slider looks good to me. even though i keep hearing bad tings about the ribbons with slider phones- a little worried.

As i was listening to the podcast i was pondering the history and background of CB and kevin's role in its inception. u guys answered my thought before i could evan post a thread. great podcast i personally love when you guys ramble and get off task great to listen to while trying to study chemistry...key word try

i think that this slider will probably be replacing the dakota. makes sense to me, 9700 with a touch screen will be too redundant.

i like it but definitely the formfactor feel and weight distribution is a big issue, should be heavier at the keyboard leaf.

but i like it :D

counting this weeks llol. great job on the podcasts guys, do keep them long! i dont think anyone minds a 90 or more minute podcasts. excelllent thorough review on the slider too, touch screens arent for me, but it was an interesting listen. Adams funny " im talking about something im interested in" llol. was hilarious. keep up the good work guys!
