CrackBerry Contest: We're Giving Away a BlackBerry PlayBook a week for Four weeks!

Interesting to have 2 playbooks would be nice so my wife and i cann video chat. plus never won anything and all the apps i bought on crackberry do not work on my torch so this would be a nice compensation. Happy 5

well i don't have a playbook - YET - but i would love one. what i like best about crackberry is that your info is so up-to-date, comprehensive and easy to understand. i also think the forums are really helpful and i like free ringtones too. thanks!

A new Playbook from Crackberry would be such an awsome event. I like the native aps in OS2.0 along with the ability to create folders.

I love how the Playbook packs so much in such a small form factor! My net-tablet may be small but quite heavy by comparison. Would be happy to switch to a Playbook!

Good luck everyone! :)

I love the cards in the PlayBook-- I come from webOS and it warms my heart to see them alive and well :) Now gimmie a PlayBook! :P

I would love a playbook!!!!!! I love my crackberry and every time someone says to me that i'm out dated and need an iphone or android, I tell them to back off because my crackberry is the shiznit!!!!!!!

What do I like about Playbook OS2.0:
how it functions, smoothness, apps...etc!
also like the, why? because it helps people like me to understand more about Blackberry products!!

Man from Vancouver BC. Canada.

I'b like a playbook for the same reason i joined the other contest, to finally discover for myself the world of blackberry.

Hope this isn't a 2nd post cuz first time saw contest there wasn't option at bottom to post! Kinda like just now when I found the b-day wish contest. If so, my bad.
[Edited] ok just went thru skads of older posts and didn't see me. This playbook looks like it rocks, gr8 reviews and as always your contests ROCK! I really need this wonderful bb Playbook so I can take my Acer tablet back to rent-a-center! I won't even say how much it will cost me by the time it is paid off. Wish at least they had had a Playbook there.

The Playbook is the best tablet on the market. Makes the Ipad look like MAXI-PAD! RIM has truly struck back! Blackberry Forever!

Loving the Playbook's form factor and the way the OS looks and flows. This is one very cool device and can't wait to see it grow to its full potential! If BB10 is going to be as powerful as this then I'm jealous already (Android smartphone at the moment).

And I love Crackberry because it brings me all the news about the Playbook :) Other tech sites seem to have started ignoring Blackberry a bit now which is a big mistake IMO :-S

I surely deserve a Playbook now? :D

what i love:
-i now get the red notification light, at the top left corner, for far far more than available software updates.
-composing multiple emails at once.
-the threaded messages view
-buttery smooth app switching( a lil bit faster on OS 2)
-reading class notes( the compact size doesn't bother me at all, its actually one of the reasons why i got it.)

what's lacking
-deep intergration of social features. like sending a photo to twitter from the gallery app.
-a better pdf reader

All in all, its a beautiful device. Worth the wait and the money.
Now give me one so that I can surprise my mom with it on Mother's Day :) Its nearly approaching in my part of the world. And how she will love docs2go suite!!!!!

The playbook is professional and trendy @ the same time. It has all the features I wud want, I the the pb since it was initially launched n with os 2 it has gotten much butter with all current features n the rest in the work n apps are more available now

Looks like a very good piece of kit now it has the OS2 on it. Will be interesting on how it handles the Android apps.

Im coming from BB9780 to SGS2. Now looking at where BB is going next.

I would love to have the Blackberry Playbook, as i would like to see a Blackberry tablet instead of only Android tablets and the iPad :) It looks really nice and as another tablet than all the others. Also i consider making apps and would like to test them on the playbook :)

The new updates on the Playbook adds the native email, calendar and contacts support BlackBerry PlayBook owners have been begging for, but it still lacks native support for BlackBerry Messenger and BlackBerry

I'd love to win a Playbook. I've handled one and it felt great with the rubberized like back and the solid build. The OS was quite fluid and easy to use and the multitasking was the best feature and the swiping made it very easy.

Would love to have a brand new PB with 2.0 that rocks the best in the business for "contacts, calendar and email" with btw looks so sweet can't wait to finally use it!!!

I have been a BlackBerry fan since 08. I would love to win a Blackberry Playbook! Its RIM's new OS in full swing! A BlackBerry seems to be more fun with a PlayBook. I am currently in the limbo of whether I should switch phones to an IPhone or an Android... Help me out CB. Help me make up my mind, that PlayBook and my Bold would go hand in hand. Thank You CB!! You guys always have the best contest!

I am already using Blackberry 8520 curve as a smart phone. And am a total fan of Blackberry as a brand over any other brands. I would prefer a Blackberry Playbook over a I-Pad 2. How I wish if I could get one from CRACKBERRY.

Thanks in Advance ;)
Vikas Bhansali

I've been trying to save up for a playbook, but had to spend the money towards my Bold 9900. So this is. Definitely my opportunituy to get one, thanks Crackberry. I have a feeling I'm finally going to get a playbook and with OS 2.0.....Awesome!

Been a BlackBerry user for years, but switched to an iPhone.

Looking forward to an opportunity to try out a PlayBook. Perhaps this will rekindle for my love for the BlackBerry.

Thanks for holding this contest.

I love the size of the Playbook...small enough to fit in a suit pocket. Excellent form factor. Would love to have one!

Would love to get my hands on one of those Playbooks! Been out of work for over a year, so kind of out of my price range...
The new OS looks awesome!

At first I didn't think I would like the OS2 upgrade as much as the hype about it for several little reasons such as I thought I would miss the tabs, have no reason for native email since bridge works and so on. However I it turns out I like the new interface and finally got my Kindle app sideloaded so its a winner for me. One thing I see has really improved is the Video chat and if I win a Playbook I will the use it and video chat as a baby monitor occasionally.

love it, for all the things it does for me. I need to use my laptop a lot always for my work, having the PB has been a welcome relief from having to be restricted in many ways when using a laptop----thats what i love the most of having a PB. I would have to say the SIZE, its extremely portable. I also like the Bridge and Swipe and multitasking and browser with html 5 support... I Love the portability, the HD camera recording in 1080p and HD playback to my 50 inch Plasma. I Love the full web experience and the Bridge feature with Torch when I'm not in a wifi area. the screen resolution is amazing when I'm watching music videos in HD on the PlayBook. I Love the multi-tasking feature, example is during my lunch i have my ear buds on listening to my playlist and surfing the web and BBMing while bridged to my Torch. my favorite app is scrapbook. overall i Love the PlayBook.....

Reason why I love CrackBerry so much they've a lovely list of Journalist who are passionate about BlackBerry related stuff and will go to the end of the earth to actually make the CRACKBERRY NATION.

I use to own a PlayBOOK but got rid of it cos it didn't have 3G - I didn't have access to WIF Spot zone and cos PlayBook doesn't work out of the box automatically you've to download the OS etc.

Given it a bash but doubt I will win - best of luck to everyone who enters

Hello to All on the Crackberry team!

Please can you sent me a new BB PlayBook 2.0

They don't have them here in the country I'm in and who knows if they'll ever get them!

All the best!

From a Huge BlackBerry and Crackberry Fan!

I was one of the lucky ones at my office. We are currently testing out different tablets to use corporate wide and I am the one that gets to test the Playbook. It has been with me all the time because I have found ways to get great use out of it. I hardly ever use my laptop now. When everyone else moved over to another non-Blackberry phone, I fought to keep my blackberry phone and succeeded by telling them how the Playbook and Blackberry phone goes hand in hand like a tag team.

OS2 has greatly expanded the Playbooks functionality for me and currently I am starting to show a-lot of skeptics the power of this tablet. I am just not sure that when our trials are over if I will be able to keep my Playbook. It is the offices Playbook after all.

I almost got myself a Playbook 1.0, but I couldn't justify it, not being a Blackberry user (I'm an Android user), and money being an issue ATM. I would love to have one to see if I could get some apps into their appstore!

I've always thought the playbook would be the best tablet for me, but have never been willing to gamble a few hundred dollars to find out. Help me figure out CrackBerry!

Wish I could win this one. It has been a whole since I looked at the Playbook, going back to the original, and they have come a log way with updates. I wish Blackberry had put as much effort into improving the technology in their phones as they did with the Playbook.

I'd love a Blackberry Playbook! But i really love the way CB runs an awesome ship! Always the best and most comprehensive reviews, appropriate content and great giveaways!!!

Excellent update, slick new OS, painless no problems whatsoever. Would love another one for my wife so we can keep in touch using video chat without having to lug out the laptop. Long distance relationship by necessity :(

Seeing as I don't own a Blackberry device, winning one would be a great way to fix that shortcoming :) I have messed around a bit with a friend's Playbook, and it definitely looked like it has promise, so would love to win one to play with. Make it happen Crackberry! :)

Lovin' the OS2. Love the Nativee-mail app and the predictive text (lessens use of the backspace key!!)

I would love to have have the new Playbook. Pick me pick me!!

I love the new PIM applications.
a well anticipated addition to a already great tablet experience.

i've seen playbook for the first time at IT fair in singapore, and i'm sure that this tablet is the best out of all other tablets on sale that day. it is lag-free compare with ipad! the unique and user-friendly UI design is stunning! especially the way to close apps that are running. i can't really describe how awesome this tablet is, I'M JUST LOVIN' IT! not a bb phone fan but definitely bb tablet fan!

really hope i can get this sexy!

Great timing! OS 2.0, and March 1 is my birthday (really, it is)! The Playbook is a great little tablet, and I love that the new OS opens up a whole new world of Android apps!

Just want to say thank you to CB for sticking it thru with my favorite phone company during hard times. Don't worry I'm sure they will wow the world with new upcoming phones.

I've always wanted a tablet. Never had one. I heard that the Playbook outbeats the iPad 2, but blackberry doesn't have that many apps.

love to win one now that OS 2.0 finally has native email and drum roll - Android app support ..

I loved the Storm 2 for a couple years. Only recently having to put it down because of changing times. I would love BB to come back in full swing, I think a Playbook and OS2 may be a start.

I love the size and performance of the Playbook! I would love to have one to call my own! I hope I win!

The playbook is a great tablet. I would have a blast with one. Thanks Crackberry for the great contest.

I really liked the PlayBook prior to the os2 update and now with the update its the icing on the cake. Thanks for a great giveaway CB

I'd like to have one as a play pal for my Palm Pre ;-)
Also, it would be a nice (leapday) birthday present.

Hey, I'm Dan, i have to use an ipad for school, and i hate it with a passion. But i have heard alot of good things about the PB and have played with it a little. So now all i have to say PLEASE choose me, so i can stop using that stupid ipad.
Thanks, Dan.

I love BB Playbook OS2 because of the new native mail and calendar applications! I also like the new development features, such as the ability to port my android apps over to the BB Playbook!

Hi Guys,

Thanks for a superb website and posts.

Your content is above standard and your posts very informative.

I would not mind to win a Blackberry Playbook,
as I am a avid Fan of Blackberry,
despite all the negative publicity from " the other fruit company".

The OS 2.0 looks and sound amazing and is exactly what Blackberry needs to show the rest that RIM is still in the game and have not forgotten us the Blackberry fans.

Also Happy Birthday for 5 Years in the game !

Love my play book some laugh at me for having it, saying dead product till they see how well it works. Sadly I lost it to my children, they have it and now it is a fight to get it back those darn angry birds. I do not mind this as they were returned to me after they were kidnapped for almost two years; the play book has been very therapeutic for them just wish I had two more, one for me and the other child. It is so nice to know that RIM has a product that a 5 year old and a 7 year old can use..

Hey guys,
First of all Happy B'day to!! A big thanks to you guys for the having those 4 PlayBooks gifts. :)

Not a huge fan of the OS, but in terms of security and hardware BB still rules! No doubts about it.

Would love to be one of the (fantastic?) four members who get it :D

ive been wanting to get a playbook for the longest so i would love to have one if chosen i would be go greatful. would make the perfect tablet for portability and web browsing.

The finishing is superb. The screen is amazing. The brightness is perfect, the colors are vibrant and the touch is smooth. The down and up swipes are a very good way to open the tablet and also to use the menu. Also the WebOS-like cards view is very appealing.
That's what I liked about it in the 5 minutes I played with my friend's playbook.
I hope to win one, so that I can assess it better...

Do not have a tablet of any kind as yet. Considered the iPad, but as a BlackBerry and fan, think I would like to begin the tablet experience with a Playbook.

The PlayBook might not be perfect but it continues to get better.

The people with whom I interact also use other tablet platforms and smartphone units. Having the ability to run Skype would definitely be a move in the right direction and allow me to use the PlayBook to easily interact with them in face-to-face conversations.

It would be great if I could load fully-functioning versions of Microsoft's Word/Excel/PowerPoint applications as well as other standard business applications on the PlayBook. This would make the unit a more useful tool when flying or while waiting at airports for connecting flights.

The next generation PlayBook must allow owners to quickly open the unit and replace the battery without having to take it completely apart.

Apple makes great products. But much like Apple's advertising campaigns where they mocked Microsoft, RIM needs to stick it to Apple by using something like the following phrase in their marketing materials: "BlackBerry - The Inspiration for Steve Jobs to Try Harder"

I have had my Blackberry Bold 9700 for less than a year, but really like it and think I would really like a playbook if I had one.

I tried the PB for a week, and it was a great tool on the road (except no HULU or Skype)
But I couldn't justify keeping it, when my old and heavy laptop did it all.
But would love to take another stab at using it again, and rid myself of the laptop. I can live without skype, and Tmob now has a TV app that seems interesting...

My sister wants a Playbook after seeing mine! Let's turn her on to CrackBerry guys! I kept telling her about the size, the graphics, the user interface, and she was loving it. She thought I had it because i own a BB, I said I would have picked it anyway. The portable Playbook is fantabulous.

I love crackberry and blackberry always will and always have! Greatest platform and blog in the world.

Great contest. Playbooks rock. Would be nice to win one. Have one now but another would be great for the wife.

Crackberry is the place to be, and the Playbook, it does rock, I'd love to win one for myself, with some cash to buy the dock.

Oh, how I would love this Playbook (if I could keep it hidden from my wife)! Crackberry rocks and always has the best contests! I still think the Playbook is one of the best tablets out there even more so with 2.0 released! Whoo Hoo! Thanks Crackberry and thanks RIM!!

I'm loving OS 2.0 its definitely the improvements we want! Hopefully this is foreseeing what will be of Blackberry 10! So excited. I follow CB on all my RSS feed clients, especially on my 9790! Proud supporter of RIM

Don't have a Playbook, or a BlackBerry for that matter right now, but as a previous user, and future Bold owner, I would love to be able to promote the Crackberry nation with a playbook from!

This would be the perfect birthday gift for my wife. She is a diehard Blackberry user and refuses to use any other phone.

Don't have a Playbook as yet, but will surely own one soon, been waiting for the 2.0 release & sales in SA. Pls pick me, can't wait to impress...2.0 was worth the wait!

Oh. I know why now. I'm not desperate for a playbook, but I just wanted to see where my luck gets me. I can donate it to someone who needs a tablet.

Play with me playbook!!!!! I love the way it looks, its really clean and I love the whole feel to it as I saw the videos on how it looks and runs.

My first real smartphone was the Storm. While it was ok, I upgraded to the Storm 2 in hopes that some of the problems plaguing the original Storm might be corrected. Unfortunately, some were but others weren't. It left a bad taste in my mouth and I switched sides to iOS. However, there is lots of good stuff that RIM has done since my days on the Storms. I really like the new 9930 (even though I have iOS) and the PlayBook looks great, especially now since it has native apps out of the box. I just might be won back over to the Crackside.

Wouldn't it be nice to win one of those..
If you choose me, I'll share the most sacred of all Swedish secrets with you: How to assemble IKEA furniture without going insane ^_^

[insert super cool signature here]

I can't remember if I've commented or not, but just to be clear, I love social integration and fully functional notifications on my PlayBook (in some cases app dependent)...OS 2.0 FTW!!

I can't remember if I've commented or not, but just to be clear, I love social integration and fully functional notifications on my PlayBook (in some cases app dependent)...OS 2.0 FTW!!

I would love a new playbook...It would be a great addition to my 9330 and I could actually have a device that is the right size to take with me to work!
Thanks in advance for considering me

I'm in! I'd love a chance to win a Playbook in all it's glory! Let's keep the support going for it and not let it die!

I just bought the Torch 9810. All I need is the Playbook and my Blackberry world is complete. My Playbook would literally go everywhere with me. I love everything that is Blackberry.

I have been in the iOS ecosystem from day one and my friend has a playbook. Let's just say I'm jealous and would like to have one! Please let me know if you can find it in your heart to develop a new user out of this contest. Thank you.

The only thing better than my old Blackberry device is having a website that shows me all the neat and interesting ways to still use it!

These two go together like peanut butter and Jelly for me. My Playbook rocks and Crackberry is the Roll. Without all the great info, links, advice and freebies from you guys, it might be gathering dust. Lol. Thanks Crackberry for enhancing my PB experiance.

So much I would love to do with a PB! I want to try out the remote synced with my Bold 9900 for projector slideshows! :)

I bought a 64 gig Playbook and just loved hardware's fit and finish. Very next day my wife played with it and claimed it.
I can't afford to buy another one. This i believe could be my only shot to a brand new Playbook.

Hi Crackberry

Thanks for a great site and some fantastic reviews. I'm only a BB novice, and in my country there isn't many BB owners - the phones here are REALLY expensive. But what I like about it is the constant feel of quality from every handset I try. The handsets are great, but the OS is really special - in a good way! I have never had a chance to try a Playbook (this is my chance???), but from what I have seen in MANY review-videos is that the system is just as easy and intuitiv as.....breathing! :-)
I hope to own a Playbook in a near future NOT to far away.

Id love a Playbook...dont have any tablets, and just waiting for the right one to come along...and the BB is it...

Rim Has hit a home run with OS.2!!!! I have played around with a friends PB and I like the way the OS is set up. I would LOVE to have one of my own!

I'm here in the Philippines Internet connection is slow, took me 8 hrs to activate my 32 gb PB in the initial setup, updating to os 2 however was a breeze. Loving the pb since then.

I finally bought a 64 GB a couple weeks ago. I've had a lot of trouble putting it down. And 2.0 makes it that much better! As for phones - Pearl, 8900, and now a 9330. I regularly check CrackBerry, and tell others about it for information.

I don't any tablet so I'd be happy to win the Playbook OS 2.0. Heard that OS 2.0 supports Android emulation so that it is like a 2-in-1 tablet.
