* LAST DAY TO ENTER: Ok, the truth is I love this blog post image so any excuse to run it again is fine with me, but we are down to the FINAL HOURS of this contest... so get in for your chance to win 1 of 2 BlackBerry PlayBooks. If you haven't dropped and given us your list of apps you'd like to see come to the BlackBerry PlayBook, stop what you're doing and do this now!! *

OK, so you don't actually have to drop and give us 20 pushups, but you will have to stop what you're doing, give it some thought, and let us know with a comment to this blog post the top apps/games/services/etc. you'd like to see come to the BlackBerry PlayBook. The time it takes will be worth the effort, as we'll be picking two lucky winners from among those who drop and give us their must-have app list to win a FREE BlackBerry PlayBook. For this contest we're not talking the small stuff here, but the big hitting apps and services and names you know and use that are out there on other platforms but not yet on the PlayBook. For example, Angry Birds, Skype, Kindle, etc...

  • Prizes: Two brand new BlackBerry PlayBooks are up for grabs for two lucky winners.
  • How To Enter: Leave a comment to this blog post listing the apps/services/games you want to see come to the BlackBerry PlayBook in YOUR order of priority. If you can come up with 20, that's awesome. If it's less, that's ok too. Just spill your guts on what apps you REALLY want to be able to install on your PlayBook asap!
  • Contest Details: Contest open worldwide. Deadline is midnight ET on June 30th, 2011.  Please just leave one comment to this post. We'll announce the winners on July 1st, 2011.
For some more insight on where PlayBook apps are at, be sure to check out our PlayBook Apps Initiative thread in the forums. That's it. Now drop what you're doing, and give us 20!!!  Best of luck!

A good fully fleshed out pdf reader... ya know features such as annotate, highlighting....

FlipBoard or similar - I want to be able to load the day's activities, notes, to do lists, photos, pdfs, client list of the day, etc etc - sort of like a diary of the day plus scheduled things to do.

Evernote - It would be nice if this type of app is incorporated into the FlipBoard type of app!

Wifi printing through a PC/Mac

QNX Browser bookmarks to be stored into a folder style app with search features PLUS it should have the capability of dragging/dropping a bookmark shortcut to the pb's desktop.

And..... that's it!

The soon-to-be law student’s PlayBook App Wish-List (and 20 reasons why I need a PlayBook in the first place!

1. Skype- Going to law school across the country from my girlfriend.
2. Kindle- Because reading is synonymous with law school.
3. Pandora- For background music to make it through my reading.
4. Native Email- Because it’s an integral part of a business oriented device.
5. Angry Birds- Because without it my brain would explode.
6. Native BBM- Because I crave miss it while I’m using a stupid iPhone waiting on the new Bold!
7. CNN- So I can look up current events mid-conversation with people who are far more aware than me.
8. Google Maps- So I force myself to get a new excuse for always being late.
9. Twitter- So I can tweet about how miserable law school makes me in an effort to make myself feel better.
10. Microsoft Office- So lack of access to a computer isn’t an excuse for lack of productivity.
11, 12&13. Paper Toss, Tiny Wings, Cut the Rope- Because productivity needs a good antagonist.
14. Scrabble- because if I keep reminding myself that “qi” is a word, I might use it in a sentence one day and impress someone.
15. Netflix- So I can cry myself to sleep at night to “The Notebook”.
16. Sudoku- To keep my left brain polished.
17. Garage Band type app- To keep my right brain rocking.
18. Ebay- So I can keep selling all my things that are relevant to hobbies that I don’t have time for.
19. Weather Channel- To provide me with daily incentive to get over my irrational objection to scarfs now that I’m moving to the Windy City.
20. ESPN Fantasy apps- The one part of my manhood that I will not sacrifice for the gauntlet that is law school.

Give me these apps and I'll run the PlayBook till it can't anymore!

Let me see, i dont know all the current playbook apps (though i know some), but here are my must-have apps (some already existing for different units, but some, i need (plssss develop something similar).

Social Networking
1. Skype

Office / Productivity
2. BT Control of .ppt files
3. HP Virtual Rooms (or access to realtime virtual boards for office conferencing)
4. MS Office
5. Winzip (or any extraction/compression device for playbook)

7. Camera apps (for lomo style, added effects, etc.)
8. Upload to a Blackberry Cloud (to sync media with other blackberry gadgets wirelessly)

10. Music app - where you can edit song titles, album names, album art, etc. of your stored media

Games
11. Online games (like iDoodle or something where you can play win lose or draw online)
12. All Angry Birds

Connectivity
13. Wifi Hotspot Detector and auto-login (similar to WiFi Commander)

Others (dunno how to classify)
14. Enhanced Blackberry Messenger for Playbook (virtual rooms type where you can doodle across BBM friends/colleagues with Playbook)
15. File Explorer app with multiple windows (so you can drag and drop right away in open windows)

That's about it! Hope this helps migrate some useful apps to Playbook and help other developers have ideas on what to create!!!

5. Curency converter - I need a rich app, no need one curency converted to one other like most converters on the web do, rather choose 1 curency and display 20 others - if you work with 3-4 different curencies at the same time it is very annoying repeatedly converting one2one
