Let the partying begin! Thursday, February 26th marks two years since we fired off our Hello World Press Release and officially opened up CrackBerry.com for business. We partied it up for our first birthday with a week's worth of giveaways, contests and deals and we're doing it again this year! Our second year has seen the site grow by leaps and bounds as word of CrackBerry.com has spread around the planet! It's because of our awesome readers and members that CrackBerry.com has grown to become the massive BlackBerry resource and community site that is and we thank you for it! We have a lot of great plans to take the site to the next level over the coming months... it's going to be exciting to see what we look like when we celebrate our third bday. But now it's time to celebrate our terrible TERRIFIC TWO's!

It wouldn't be a birthday bash unless we put a phone up for grabs, and the folks at ColorWare have stepped up to sponsor our top prize for the week - an unlocked BlackBerry Curve 8900 custom painted by ColorWare any way you choose! What a gift for a birthday present! I have the curve and after trying the Bold, I was hooked!! I travel overseas often for mission trips, putting up building for orphanages and the needy, and love being able to use my berry anywhere. The capabilities and the size of the Bold would make the use so much more enjoyable!! Too be able to take pictures of the children and show them a great sized pic would just melt their hearts. Thanks to again for such a generous offer and such a blessing you are giving to someone.

I want to thank Kevin and his staff for making this a GREAT website for BlackBerry Users.

My first BB was a 7105t. I got it because of Oprah's Favorite things that year (2005).

I wish I had bought the first model BB in 1998. It is truly a remarkable device. RIM has definitely made its mark in history.

Before I bought a BB, I thought it was only for business users. I'm glad that RIM took a chance and made a device for consumers. I enjoy my BB 8320, but I'm looking to upgrade to the BB 8900.

Thanks again for the tips, free ringtones, wallpapers, forums, and the FREE giveaways.

I hope I win this BB 8900. If not, I will still be appreciative of this website!

This would be the answer to my wife's ever growing Blackberry envy. Speaking of envy, she uses an LG Env2, while I'm on a Storm. The adoration that I feel for my phone is increasingly making my wife envious of my Storm. She wants apps! She wants themes! She wants her email delivered to her phone (not the crappy web based email that she gets on her Env2). She wants to feel the Blackberry "coolness factor." Crossing my fingers that you'll get me out of the proverbial BB doghouse!

Well, I'm on my 3rd BB since the middle of December. They've all been the 8350i, the first one I dropped in a water tank at work and that's where that one still resides. Nextel replaced that one for a fee which is fine and that phone had issues anyway. The second one I left in the rest room at Macdonalds while helping the kids along on family night, again I got a new one at a cost but luckily for me I hadn't had it long enough to put any sensitive data on it. And finally with the third one I dropped it again at work from an eighth floor catwalk down to the concrete floor below. I was able to salvage the sim card out of it and right now I'm using my old Nextel i860. The only good part of the story is that through all my phone experience I've never lost or dropped one or ever had any issues like this so I'm really hoping this is just a case of "things happening in threes". So that's my story, I miss my BB and have to get another one but it sure would be good to win one of course.
