What birthday celebration would be complete without a grand prize? The pièce de résistance?!? Well we have just that - a BlackBerry PlayBook!! Ok, well maybe we don't actually have a BlackBerry PlayBook, but we're still giving one away! In continuing the celebration of our 4th birthday, we're giving away an IOU for one BlackBerry PlayBook. Whenever RIM gets it together and releases it (early April-ish?), we'll send you one right out of the gate.

Want to show all my friends and colleagues that RIM still has it!

As A Canadian I've rooted for RIM for many years and seen my family, friends, and co-workers play with every known phone, music player, laptop, or device under the sun (and hence ended up helping them at one point or another and been given the chance to use everything) and yet to this day nothing has come close to offering that seamless integration that Blackberry has always offered nor the rich media experience you'd expect out of the form factor of a tablet... until the Playbook!

I've followed along since September watching and waiting and learning as much about the device as I can , and I honestly believe that if people give this hardware and platform A chance they will be blown away by the possibilities. What we've been shown so far not just from the Playbook but by the Ipad, Android, WebOS, or Windows tablets is just the tip of the iceberg and RIM now has the ability to to leverage the power of a great system like QNX that once all the API's are released, not just the initial run of tools from Adobe that we've seen so far, what developers will be able to accomplish on this platform could be amazing.

For this reason I want to help spread the word of how amazing this device is!
