Happy Birthday CrackBerry Nation!!! We're six years ~~old~~ young today. With new BlackBerry 10 phones hitting the market and an all-new CrackBerry website redesign rolling out later this week, we have never felt better.

As promised in my CrackBerry Turns 6 post, it wouldn't be a CrackBerry birthday celebration without a contest. We've been giving away a BlackBerry Z10 a week for the month of February, and we're doing it again this week.

Win a FREE BlackBerry Z10 from CrackBerry: To enter for your chance to win, all you need to do is login to CrackBerry and leave a comment or birthday wish to this post. It's as simple as that. Just leave one comment (any additional comments are not counted as entries). This one goes until Midnight EST this Sunday, and we'll announce the winner next week. For a year now, I've been following the news around Blackberry through Crackberry.com and here to see its turned 6 years old. I've owned Blackberrys for 6 years, I really wonder why I hadn't found this site then. I'm really glad to see both Blackberry and Crackberry grow up to such a beautiful device and a beautiful site. Wanna say congrats on the success on the major bb 10. It was amazing. Yourll was able to pull it off.otherwise, blackberry seemed to be going down, as the head of CEO mentioned. You guys have come a long way! I haven't been a member since the beginning, I officially joined last year. But I frequently browsed the forums since 2008 because my mother got a Blackberry Pearl with Sprint in January of 2008 and that's when she had joined. (Don't remember her username though). I would browse the forums with her because I was jealous that she had this cool Blackberry and I had a cheap flip phone (until I got a Moto Q in May of 08. Wanted the BB but the Moto Q was free on upgrade and the BB at the time was "expensive"). I remember helping her find themes and nice wallpapers! I always wanted one.
Fast forward to now, I still browse the forums and post here and there. My Bold 9930 broke last year so I'm on my iPhone until the Q10 comes out on Sprint (wish the Z10 was coming to Sprint!) so hopefully by May when my upgrade is available the Q10 will be on Sprint. BUT if I won this Z10 I'd unlock it and switch to AT&T or T-Mobile in a heart beat!
I hope I win. It would be the first contest I win on Crackberry or any other Mobile nations site. I think it'd be cool to say "hey! I won a new Z10 from CRACKBERRY!" :p
Aside from all of that, thanks for being the go-to site for all things Bl(CR)ackberry! You guys have helped me more than you know.

It was a little over a year ago that I first discovered Crackberry, since then I have become so knowledgeable of the Blackberry brand and its workings that now my fellow BB users often come to me seeking answers to any issues and I have gone as far as to go on the Blackberry Facebook page and offer my help there as well. If I don't have the answers I send them the link to Crackberry.

But that's not all, Kevin, Bla1ze, Simon and Michelle have been so very nice to me, more so than any other site I have visited on a regular occasion since 1994. I must say they are the absolute best people to have running a site and being members of a family type atmosphere that is enjoyed by all that visit. Their sheer brilliance at writing reviews, the fun late night live video chats leading up to the BB10 Launch and the general liking of posts in the forums have made me PROUD to say I am a Crackberry addict. Every day I look so fondly to seeing what new posts they have on the front page and any exciting news I may find in the forums. Kevin has created possibly THE BEST COMMUNITY on the entire internet.

Not only is He funny but He does things in a way that everyone can relate to, be it the casual user, the power user and corporate types out there. He makes this site feel like it is our site as well. A place that all are welcome and nobody is excluded.

I am glad that I got turned onto the BB brand and to the Crackberry nation that is thriving and wonderful each and every day. Happy 6th Birthday Crackberry and Kudos to the CB Team for keeping it very real through all this success. Here's to many many more years of awesome posts, great contests and wonderful memories to come.
