AT&T BlackBerry Curve 8900

The BlackBerry Curve 8300 was and still is one of RIM's most successful smartphone devices. Recognizing that, RIM released a new version of the popular curve. The new device is called the BlackBerry Curve 8900. Already available on T-Mobile for a while now, this next generation Curve recently landed on AT&T. The 8900 has an all new body, but has a similar layout and feel that any 8300 Curve user will find familiar.

BlackBerry Leather Wrist Strap for BlackBerry Bold Review
Posted in Community Reviews on 12 Mar 2009 09:09 by Kevin Michaluk | 16 comments

Our pal JReel is back with another community BlackBerry Bold accessory review and this time he's taking a look at the BlackBerry Leather Wrist Strap for the BlackBerry Bold. This can also be used on the Pearl, Pearl Flip and Curve 8900, which all feature slots/hooks that allow you to attach a lanyard or charm.

As JReel points out, the Leather Wrist Strap may not be for everyone as a daily use thing, but as this video demonstrates, it's not a bad idea to keep a lanyard for your device handy to prevent disaster from happening...

My Review of the OtterBox Defender Case for the BlackBerry Storm 9500 and 9530

I was waiting from the very day I purchased my new Storm (Nov 15th at 6am) for Otter to release this case. As a Service Technician, I can be very hard on my phones and really wanted the best protection possible. I ordered Ghost Armor before I had my Storm. Loved it, but wanted more protection. By the way, none of the transparent guards will work and still fit in this case.

OtterBox Impact Series Case for the BlackBerry Bold
Posted in Community Reviews on 14 Feb 2009 09:56 by Kevin Michaluk | 17 comments

CrackBerry member JReel had another busy week on the community video review front, taking a look at both the OtterBox Impact Series case for the BlackBerry Bold as well as the Body Glove Silcon skins. I think JReel is going to have pick up another BlackBerry device or two so he can spread his video review love around a bit more beyond the Bold.

Overview: OtterBox Impact Series Case for the BlackBerry Bold

The Impact Series merges durability, impact absorbing features and style in a single, slim-fit Silicone layer. All buttons, ports and functions are accessible right through the case, and the inner corners have been engineered to dissipate impact AWAY from your device. Also, the OtterBox Impact Series has an ergonomic design that your hands will love to be wrapped around!

  • Durable Silicone with impact-absorbing features
  • Inner corners dissipate impact away from the device with added bump and shock protection
  • Ergonomic design for comfortable carrying

The OtterBox Impact Series case for the BlackBerry Bold sells for $12.95.

Video Review: OtterBox for the BlackBerry Curve 8350i

* Just In: OtterBox Defender Case for the Storm Now @ ShopCrackBerry.com >> *

I've been loving these CrackBerry Community video reviews! This time around we have CrackBerry member tritan, who is an avid CrackBerry podcast listener and Sprint fan, taking a look at the new OtterBox for the BlackBerry Curve 8350i.

Tritan takes his time and does a great job walking through the unboxing and installation process. I know a lot of CrackBerry readers are big fans of OtterBox and are already quite familiar with the product for other device models, but if you have yet to see what an OtterBox is all about, then you should definitely watch this. Big props tritan!

Video Review: Speck SeeThru Case for the BlackBerry Bold

CrackBerry member JReel has been on fire with BlackBerry accessory reviews as of late. Next up in his review series of case/carrying solutions is the Speck Products SeeThru Case and Holster for the BlackBerry Bold. JReel does a good job in this video of cutting to the chase and weighing in on the pros and the cons. One thing to also make note of not mentioned in the video (though fairly obvious by the hands-on look) is that this case/holster combination does not take advantage of the Bold's sleeper magnet. So you will have to get in the habit of putting your Bold into standby manually (hold down on mute key for two seconds). Good review JReel!

Hey all! Yester18 here. If you're looking for a case and holster that takes a beating in your job or active lifestyle, or you want to keep your device looking new, then the OtterBox is for you. In my line of work protection is a plus. I'm a fire fighter and take my BlackBerry to work all the time. Suffice to say when I'm out on calls it gets used and abused so to give it protection I rely on OtterBox for awesome protection.

Hi all, New crackberry user here (about 2 weeks) but soon to be an abuser like so many of you hard core, thumb aching readers. I'm a bit of a techie having been into computer gaming and staying abreast of the latest and greatest in hardware over the last 20 years. I've built a few systems here and there, some for myself and others for friends so I'm not afraid to venture into the great unknown. A little while ago, I did my first OS upgrade without issue so I'm getting familar with the blackberry and how its system works.

I commute 72 miles each way to work, 5 days a week and work as a manager for absolutely, positively, the best air express company in the world. As you can imagine, I take quite a few calls on the road during that travel time. I have had a over the ear bluetooth solution before and liked it but was always bothered by keeping up with it and afraid of losing it. When I switched to a blackberry a few weeks ago, it also presented the con of having two different vehicle chargers so I started my search for a handsfree bluetooth device that would use the mini USB charger my 8330 did.

A quick gander at newegg and here at the crackberry store had me interested in a few different devices. I Googled reviews for each of the contenders and after a few hours of reading, I decided to give the Motorola T505 the thumbs up as my first attempt at a solution.
