Happy Tuesday to our loyal theme junkies. We have spent the last week sorting through the emails we have received, and have a stellar lineup of both free, and paid themes. After last week's overdose of pink, we have banished the girly colors from this weeks selection to balance things out (although we did delve into the giftable theme Valentino for that special someone). Hit the jump for our picks.

BerryShell - Premium BlackBerry Theme From Hedone Design By Bla1ze | 27 Jan 2010 07:27 | Hedone has emerged from his lab again. This time bringing with him the beautifully designed BerryShell theme. As with most of Hedones designs, BerryShell looks fresh and sharp on your BlackBerry screen. The grey and orange color scheme is nice, similar to his Bussfast theme we've seen before, so if you have used that one BerryShell would suit you nicely. The filesize is rather large on this one, coming in at around 1.7mb for the Bold 9700 version so keep that in mind. Normally, BerryShell would sell for $6.99 but until February 1st if you use the coupon code BSHD20 on the mobile checkout screen, you'll get an addition 20% off of the price.

Elecite- Ace And Halcyon Premium Themes By Bla1ze | 21 Jan 2010 09:30 | The theme builders over at Elecite have been taking themes to a whole new level these days. Two themes were released almost side by side a little while ago. Ace has a "cover flow" app card design that works beautifully. While the apps are not customizable this way, Elecite has made the most common ones used, the ones that show up as cards. Thats not to say you can't customize the homescreen in any way though, Elecite also made the top half under the customize icon like a launcher, allowing you to input whatever apps you do so wish in that list. Halcyon, was the next theme release. Including a bottom dock that houses 9 locked and ordered application icons: contacts, messages, calendar, tasks, memo, profiles, browser, facebook and twitter (ubertwitter). As well as a hidden today preview screen and visual effects such as over sized icons for easy navigation.

Berry Holiday 2 Theme Rebranded to CB2 Theme - Still Free, Tweaked Up and Now Available for all BlackBerry Models By Kevin Michaluk | 15 Jan 2010 15:58 | Remember the free Berry Holiday 2 theme we gave away before Christmas? Well it's back! Rebranded from Berry Holiday to CB2 and coming with a default wallpaper that works year round (though you can always change that up with our free wallpaper gallery), Zach from Z Man Designs has tweaked up the theme (fixing any issues some users had) and has now made it available for ALL BLACKBERRY device models, including the Pearls and older Curves, 8800s and even the 8700 (be sure to check the OS requirements on the product page to make sure your device is compatible - ie, 8700 needs OS 4.5). Keep in mind this is a new theme, so if you're already running Berry Holiday the CB2 theme will install separately. Just like Berry Holiday 2, CB2 features three hidden docks. When they're all minimized the homescreen is very clean with the CrackBerry fuel/battery gauge standing out nicely in the middle. From there you can scroll up for your core shortcuts and then back down the outer to icons to bring up the customizable side docks (Storm users can check out the hot spot chart). It'll take a couple minutes to get used to it. For devices running OS 5.0 the CB2 theme features nice transitions. Overall, it's a really nice looking theme. Follow the link below to download FOR FREE. Thanks again Z Man!

Plasma – Elecites Premium Animated Background Theme By Bla1ze | 05 Jan 2010 05:43 | Elecite released a cool new theme a few days ago now. Plasma is the first animated background theme from Elecite. The pulsating wallpaper in the background is rather eye catching and can be turned on or off directly from the homescreen depending on your mood. An integrated weather slot and 11-12 icons take up the homescreen which allows for easy access to applications. When clicking to the application screen you are welcomed with some unique icons. The icons are pictures of the applications you're trying to access, only minimized as seen in the video above. The notification system in Plasma is also one that is unique. If you have unread messages of any sort you will see the yellow star at the bottom turn red and then yellow again as messages are checked. Be sure to read the reviews from other users to get an idea of how it may function on different devices.
