The BlackBerry Mini Keyboard for the BlackBerry PlayBook is one of those accessories that everyone wanted at launch. I remember my excitement over the BlackBerry PlayBook Convertible Case; had there been a keyboard tucked into that package - I can only imagine how pumped I would have been. At the core, the BlackBerry Mini Keyboard is a Convertible Case just tweaked in various areas with a stand and bluetooth keyboard/trackpad combo. The keyboard itself looks great as the black/white/blue color scheme fits in with the rest of the case. As first glance you can see the keys will be a bit rough for those of us with bigger hands due to their small size. LightWedge's Verso covers caught my eye at CES as a classy alternative to the usual flip covers available for the BlackBerry PlayBook. While the gimmick of putting book binding on a mobile gadget isn't new, I was particularly happy that LightWedge's take on it was truly universal. This particular version is the Prologue Antique Cover in tan, but they've got a whole bunch of different styles with the same basic idea.

"Like many families, mine is a multi-platform mobile device household. Thankfully there are chargers like the Qmadix USB Mobile Duo for the car that keep our batteries full."

Picture a 16 hour car trip with your Blackberry device, a spouse and his iPhone 4s, two teenagers both with BlackBerry devices, iPods and gaming consoles. Now add to the mix a four year old that refuses to sit in a car for longer than 15 minutes without her DVD player on or my BlackBerry PlayBook in her hand. Usually this wouldn’t be a bad thing. Everyone is occupied with a device and the car ride is pretty peaceful. The problem starts when devices start the low battery warning all at the same time and my SUV only has 3 power outlets. Welcome to my personal nightmare. The husband and I fight over who charges their phone first, one teenager and the four year old bicker because to charge his devices he’d have to unplug her DVD player and one teenager in the back enjoying an outlet all to herself. It's Health & Fitness Month at Mobile Nations!

Ok, as a female, talking about weight, regardless of your size, is ALWAYS a touchy subject. With it being Health & Fitness Month across the Mobile Nations family of websites, I decided it was time for me to get back into my routine of diet and exercise to hopefully lose those dreaded extra pounds. I'm a music lover and have to have it playing regardless if I'm doing my P90X workout at home, driving, cooking or whatever. My problem is I absolutely despise headphones. They never fit comfortably in or on my ears and I've tried different speakers for my MP3 player and BlackBerry devices. All of them either have some kind of background static or just don't sound "right" to me. That elusive BlackBerry Mini Keyboard case for the BlackBerry PlayBook may not be so elusive much longer. BerryReview has posted a bunch of leaked slides that show off this awesome keyboard/case combo that looks to be available in the coming weeks. We're assuming it will most likely be timed with the launch of PlayBook OS 2.0 but don't have a definite date just yet. Kevin played around with one a bit a few months back, but the case has been back in hiding until now.

The BlackBerry Mini Keyboard with Convertible Case will feature a keyboard and trackpad combo that will let you control your BlackBerry PlayBook, all tucked in a leather convertible case. The unit will allow you to easily type and navigate on your PlayBook when you're on the go and the battery is said to last for up to 30 days on a charge. CES2012 was both exhilarating and exhausting. It was literally bursting with all sorts of new gadgets and gizmos that made my head spin.
