Contre Jour has already been hugely popular on other platforms, so it's a pleasure for the game to now be available for BlackBerry 10. It's kind of a hard game to describe but here goes (or just watch the video).

You control a creature named Petit. The aim of the game is to get him to the safety of the big blue light, but on the way you must collect as many of the small blue orbs as possible. The way you move Petit is rather original. Instead of actually moving him you need to use gestures to move the landscape - so dragging it down will create a slope for him to roll down. It does take a bit of getting used to but it's actually quite clever.

As you progress through the levels you'll need to utilize tentacles (I'm glad I spelt that right) as well to collect the orbs. Petit can attach to more than one tentacle so just drag it towards him and if it's long enough he will attach. A simple tap of the tentacle will release Petit and this way you'll be able to cover areas of the level where there is no landscape to maneuver.

The graphics are absolutely stunning with Contre Jour and the game has a beautiful classical sound track. With 100 levels in total this one is highly addictive so you'll want to get comfortable before playing.

Priced at £2.00/$2.99 Contre Jour certainly is good value for money. I suspect we'll see this one in the top paid games in BlackBerry World real soon. The only downside at the moment is that the game only supports the Z10 and Z30

Nice game, but I still waiting badland game as promised here, late august I think?

Unlike my z10, my q5 still virgin

First thing I thought of too when I noticed Contre Jour in BB World a while ago. Haven't played it, but the screenshots sure look a lot like World of Goo.

That's not a bad thing, just saying.

This is how you CB10, son!

I'm confused enough by your comment that I'm actually gonna ask: Are you sarcastically (or "uninformedly") referring to his use of the British (or Global English) spelling of "spelt" by misquoting him with the American English spelling, or are you referring to his (common but incorrect) use of the adjective "right" in place of the correct adverb "correctly"?

Or is it something else that I'm completely missing? Again, it's bugging me.

Just checked today's exchange rates.
£2.00 is worth USD$3.21 or CAD$3.30.

So what's the big deal?

This is how you CB10, son!

Together to make BBRY succeed Team BlackBerry

How would you feel if your local coffee place charged the person behind you less than you? I'm sure you'd say, "oh well, it's only a little bit more."

Posted via my Q10.

Not available yet for the Q10? Zut alors! This looks like a very cool game. Not that I play games on my phone or anything...

Posted while peeking and flowing on my incredible BBQ10!

I wish articles would say Z10 rather than BB10. If I can't use it on my Q10, I end up reading an article for nothing. This is twice today, so it's a bit disappointing.
