If I win this, I will have to get the Bold, since my 8800 won't cut it anymore. It will be the first tech product that having software caused me to buy the device.

Thanks.

Docs To Go + SureTouch on my prospective BlackBerry Storm should yield some interesting results. Thanks for a contest that works for creativity lacking people like me!

Posted by moeah Friday, Nov 14, 2008 1286 days ago

I use docs to go to proof read powerpoint presentations, compile word documents on the go, budget for home & work using excel and check my PDF'd payslip. Think that's it.

Posted by mjd081 Friday, Nov 14, 2008 1286 days ago

I'm probably never gonna win anything on Crackberry.com, but Docs to Go would be a wonderful early Bday present (along with my upcoming Blackberry Storm)!... crossing my fingers!

Posted by mjd081 Friday, Nov 14, 2008 1286 days ago

I forgot to mention why Docs to Go would be great for me. I am planning on going back to school soon and trying to start my own online business and I'm going to be out and about most of the day. Having the ability to open important work documents when I'm at school or being able to open school documents when I'm at work would make my life 100 times less stressful. I can do what I need to do without having to worry about being near a computer to make sure I get all my work done. Well that's my $.02, sorry for posting twice!

Posted by ADberry Friday, Nov 14, 2008 1286 days ago

Being a grad student, I constantly work with word, excel and powerpoint files...Doc to Go is one of the best apps for a person like me!

Hi CB-

I am a mortgage loan associate at Bank of America (San Francisco Bay area. Because I am always on the go to meet clients, realtors , etc... I think I would benefit immensely from this application.

While I am out and about, when clients call to get pre-qualified for a home, or want to start a refinance transaction, I can easily shoot them over my "1003 Application" which is in a .pdf file.

I would like to win this application!

Kind regards,

Stephen

oh man! yeah those apps are like super cool I need em all the time people are always sending me stuff at work I need to be looking at while I am mobile, like data centre plans, pictures, text, docs of all kinds to my BB Bold its pure madness I actually need this .. the one we get by default is cool but premium would be better!!!

I get at least 100 attachments a day @ work so this would help a lot for me

Posted by kunstmusik Friday, Nov 14, 2008 1286 days ago

I'd love to get a copy of the premium edition! I'd love to be working on Word docs and Excel spreadsheets for my musical ideas on my Bold.

Cheers!

Posted by wlassalle Friday, Nov 14, 2008 1286 days ago

Although this documents to go premium wont make a spark in the dark, It will be a lifesaver in more ways than one and totally increase my productivity. My Bold will love it!

Posted by Grommmm Friday, Nov 14, 2008 1286 days ago

I've been using the Docs2Go a lot, especially Excel and Word. Got that on the Bold, and with the most amazing keyboard ever, everything goes smoothly. But for now, Word is like Notepad, and Excel is.. well Excel is pretty awesome also in the Standard version, but since I am an Excel heavy user, would love to get my hands on the Premium Edition. Also missing the PDF feature, a lot, for now i just keep sending me all stuff per email.

So, its not necessary, but, you know, crackberry... yeah, you know...

Posted by money69 Friday, Nov 14, 2008 1286 days ago

I want to win!! I really would like to have this for my Blackberry, I also like that they added an offline PDF viewer for PDF files.

Posted by agula001 Friday, Nov 14, 2008 1286 days ago

How will DocumentsToGo impact my life?

Well I am currently investing in real estate and this would greatly affect my business. I would be able to view the weekly foreclosure spreadsheet directly on my BB, and then create a contact letter that i could send to them using word to go. As for my contracts i have them in pdf format already, i could save them to my phone and when i need to use them i could fill them out on my BB and email it right to them to review and have them send it back to me afterwards.

This would be an invaluable addition to my business, that will help me stay connected and mobile at all times.

Posted by Cymru Friday, Nov 14, 2008 1286 days ago

I'm a supervisor, so I always have to answer scheduling questions when I'm not at work, our schedules are in spreadsheet form so being able to view and edit our schedules would save me from sticky note hell. I also have to create powerpoint files and word documents for the training I do.

Tada!

hey hope i get one!!1

Posted by ddarvish Friday, Nov 14, 2008 1286 days ago

I think this prog will help big time. I am a grad student doing research on solar energy and this would be wonderful to use in looking at and editing powerpoint presentations and documents on the go at conferences and meetings where having a laptop around would be a pain!

Docs to Go would allow me to be more productive with my 8320 on the train to and from work. It would be great to work on spreadsheets and compose documents on the run! Editing in MemoPad just isn't the same. And I don't have anything for spreadsheets...

Thanks CB!

I recently upgraded my Pearl to 4.5 os, and found it included docs to go. But having docs to go Premium would enhance so much for me. I would be able to open up documents from work, family, and friends, especially the PDF's which I could really use. I would also be able to show my customers the necessity of this feature and encourage them to go to Premium by the benefits. Since I've had my Blackberry, I rarely even go on my pc or laptop, and with the pdf on my phone as well, I would have even less reason to leave my berry for the pc!

Posted by jkgordo Friday, Nov 14, 2008 1286 days ago

I use my personal Blackberry for work (biotech) and many of the programs that I have to show clients are in either Word or Excel or Powerpoint. I use my laptop for these programs, but it is cumbersome to take laptops in and set them up in labs and doctor's offices, and I also can't always get online to attach said files to e-mails to send them to individuals. Having this program for my Blackberry Curve would allow me to use the materials on my smartphone and be able to attach said files on my e-mail and send it immediately if needed. It would make my work that much more efficient and allow me to utilize my Blackberry even more.

Posted by demonio Friday, Nov 14, 2008 1286 days ago

Gimme, gimme, gimme!!

No seriously, this would be a godsend for me.

I'm the Competitive Insight Program coordinator for my company and I have to constantly be creating and editing templates and other documents with all sorts of competitive info. Also, I receive about a dozen emails a day with PDF attachments which I can only view on my laptop. If I could do all this with Docs to Go on my Berry, I could give my beat up laptop a bit of a well deserved break.

Now, GIMME, GIMME, GIMME!! ;-)

This will make my Curve complete!!!

Posted by Tpony Friday, Nov 14, 2008 1286 days ago

It'd be great to edit my documents on my nice new Bold. Plus the bonus PDF it comes with now. Even if I don't win. This site rocks and with the info I get I should be giving you free gifts. Thanks CrackBerry!

Starting up a business. Reviewing/creating documents on the go via my Curve would be great.

As someone who is looking fo a job, I deal with quite a few headhunters. Each one wants their own information on my resume to say they represent me. This would be so much easier for me to do while I'm sitting on the subway, instead of having to wait til I get to an Apple store or get home.

Oh, BTW. I really need a job. That, and a Storm.

As much as I like the ability to see the 'snapshot' of the files that I get on my blackberry (pictures, doc's). Being able to view all the files as they were went would be awesome.

Either way if I win or not, thanks for hosting another great contest. I was excited when I read the "what would you do for a storm" contest. Thought that was an awesome idea.

Posted by lovemyliver Friday, Nov 14, 2008 1286 days ago

with documents to go and my new storm I can finally be unteathered from office, home and PC. The productivity of our company will no longer be hampered by the time and space continuum. Documents to go and the storm will give more family time and less stress while being more productive by allowing the use of documents anywhere anytime with inividual and conference updates

and ever since I got my new Bold (which my palms have been attached to ever since), I have been using a part of the to-go suite everyday. And since I am broke I can't afford premium version. Not to mention having a PDF reader would be SO nice for lectures! I've been a fan of the site, and I just had to register with these awesome contests! Great job guys!

And I just have to say this. Roll Tide.

I would love to not be stuck at work late nights editing/creating financial models and other documents. DTG Standard is good, but doesn't let me create new files, so I'd love to win a Premium license. I also like how a PDF reader is included.

Who needs a laptop when you have this product and a Blackberry? Miniturisation indeed. A product I have used for years on many different PDA's and with the Blackberry, now a total product.

Thanks for the help! Creating a Word document to properly thank everyone would be cool too....

If I would win this it would enchance my productivity, because I could download the hand-out's of my professors while in university, start reading them and take some small notes with my BlackBerry.
Would be great! :)

If I am able to save my pennies, I should have a Storm by Nov 21! Can't wait to see my spreadsheets in landscape mode! I am so happy Docs2Go finally came to Blackberry.

Posted by Snoopster J Friday, Nov 14, 2008 1286 days ago

I'm taking a first year Economics class in university right now, and one time I forgot my laptop at home. So, to take notes, I brought out my baby Bold and fired up the MemoPad (I didn't have any "empty" Word files pre-loaded to use for the trial software), and ended up typing enough to have sore thumbs after scrolling back up to the top. I also surveyed my typing speed, and was surprised at how much faster I typed compared to a lot of people WITH laptops (is there a "proper" BB typing method?), but not surprised that I was light years ahead of my buddy next to me with his HTC Diamond and stylus (we were having a little competition). Hope you enjoyed my story :)

Docs to Go Premium would make me feel less guilty when I go out when I'm swamped with work. I'd be able to get at least another hour of work done before I get too drunk and start texting people I shouldn't.

Posted by JosieInRE Friday, Nov 14, 2008 1286 days ago

I'm a real estate agent, and you can just imagine how many docs I get in my email on a regular basis. Docs 2 Go would make it so I don't have to carry my laptop with me every time I leave home "just in case". And trust me, with a 3 month old, a diaper bag, my purse, and a briefcase, I'd love to be able to carry one less thing around!

Posted by bjerickson Friday, Nov 14, 2008 1286 days ago

I use docs to go to look over power point presentations for my classes. Some are done in pdf and the premium edition has that, which would be awesome to have.

Posted by dhohulin15 Friday, Nov 14, 2008 1286 days ago

As a college student(unable to afford a laptop) it would be great to be able to work on my papers places other than just at home. That and the Bold is great and easy to type on

Posted by Storm_Victim Friday, Nov 14, 2008 1286 days ago

I have been a WinMo user for so long now that I have tons of Office Mobile files that I use constantly. I have wanted a Blackberry for a while but was under the impression that I couldn't use my Office files on a Blackberry. As I was reading up on the Storm (Which will be my intro into the Blackberry world) I read that it had the ability to open and edit the files I have been using. So from that point on I have been hooked. So now I am making the switch to Blackberry, but I have PDF files too, so Premium edition would be a great upgrade for my new Storm. So basically, Docs to Go is the reason I am getting a Blackberry. That should be worth something.

Its only right that I get to finally start winning some contest for apps to put on my Storm being that I was the first one in Austin to reserve my Storm at the Best Buy near my house. Not only that, they did not even know about the reserve option until I informed them about it AND put them on to Crackberry as the end-all-be-all in Blackberry headlines.

Hi Crackberry! Here is Alex from Rome, Italy writing about Docs To Go. I use the standard version on my loved curve 8310. I'm a consultant in the IT market and i'm 70% of the time at customer's locations and on the move. So sheet to go and Slideshow to go are, as we say in italy, my daily bread!

I always need to review slides for the meetings, xls files with KPI/KPO datas and performance reports. Without Docs to go i will be lost! It is really a powerfull tool!

So...since i need also the PDF (why RIM has so poor PDF viewer???) let's win the contest!!!!! :-))) Come on Crackberry! Ship this copy directly to Italy!!!!

So...that's it. Sorry for my poor written english...hope will win the contest!

Ciao!
Alex

Considering the original Curve still doesn't have the new OS, this would make working with word and excel files that much easier when I get them in via email :)

Plus I use excel so much, it would speed things up for me!

Posted by Valace2 Friday, Nov 14, 2008 1286 days ago

Hey Kevin and all of Crackberry nation here is why I need a nice shiny fully functioning version of Docs to go. Not sure if this contest is random or if the content counts but here goes nothin

First off let me start by sayin its 4 in the morning an I have woke up the last two nights to stoke up the fire and decided to see what was up in the world. I am in the middle of nowhere and in a cabin and wood is our only source of heat right now. I am glad that I was woke up though, last night I noticed a little thing about the Storm being released and tonight this awesome contest. I work as a contract reader/driver for the Business Enterprise program which is a program within the Commission for the Blind a state agency in my state.
This programs goal is to train and assist blind people in becoming independant business owners. It is incredibly worthwhile to know that you work for an agency that really helps people.
In my position I assist a blind state employee(my cousin actually he got me the job) in his daily job duties. We travel a great deal in our state usually about four thousand miles a month assisting blind people who work within the BEP. My pearl has been a valuable companion during my time working in this program. Not only has it helped me become more efficient in my daily routine as far as being able to take down notes and send out emails, brickbreaker and the countless other entertainment options have kept me goin when away on overnight trips. I have got by with the memopad and now with 4.5 I have docs to go, but could really really use the ability to start a doc from scratch. Now my job may sound glorious but its really not. Its stable but doesn't pay the best so I am going back to school to get my masters degree. What people don't realize is that a Blackberry is a beast when it is used as a study aid. Not only can I use it to review the notes I bang out on my laptop during class but with the voice recorder I can also record the lectures for review.
Who needs all the hassle of carrying around a bunch of books when you have everything wrapped up nicely in your blackberry. It will be really nice when I pick up my Storm in a week. Love the Pearl but can't wait for the Storm's bigger screen. Well that's that I guess hope content counts here because I could really use that program. If not hey I was up anyway and I love Crackberry.com. Well its 5 in the morning now and have to be up in an hour so cheers folks.

Sorry to make this even longer but I just wanted to throw this in. The Commission for the Blind operates under the Randolph Shepperd act a program here in the States that helps the visually impaired. The cool thing about Randolph Shepperd is that it was inspired by a similiar program that was introduced in Canada. So go Canada!!

I have always loved DOCUMENTS to go from my days as a PALM PDA user (Technically i do still own a PALM Lifedrive - its around here somewhere) but since moving to the BB for work it has been lacking this wonderful capability. I am about to upgrade my CURVE to OS 4.5 so I can get Docs-2-go and what a nice addition a Premium copy would be. At my work we get tons of attachments so this just becomes a necessity.

Use a Laptop & a Blackberry ?
Not me I just Doc's to Go.

If I win it that is ;)

*this will only make sence if in USA & Canada you also had those terrible TV Ads in the 90's for Wash N Go hair shampoo :)

I work for a non-profit urban youth leadership development foundation. We work with over 1000 at risk kids trying to help them grow up to become leaders in our city. As a non-profit we try to put as many donation dollars into the kids as we can, so, when it comes to our IT department... it's just ME. I rely on my personal tools to be as efficient as possible. With the recent death of my trusty old PDA, I have decided to buy a Blackberry and Document To Go would be an essential tool for it. My job includes constantly traving around the city to our partner sites, keeping their computers, internet and programs running. In order to do this, I need to take my information with me. The Blackberry will allow me to do this easily, but without Documents To Go, it's just a phone.

It would be so cool to win this one! I'll be heading off to a faculty recruitment workshop in a couple weeks and this would be amazingly helpful if I had it. I'd be able to work on the train as well as keep up with things while I'm away.

As a housing counselor, I'm constantly on the go these days with an overload of clients needing help. The premium edition would allow me to create needed docs to help clients even when I'm away from my desk.

I've been using Docs To Go since the early Palm days. This is a great software package. Glad to see that its available for Blackberry.

I am professor for clinical Psychology.I love to sit in Starbucks and do the 3 hours prep for my classes . Until now I have been using my window 6-1 to put the notes on my Doc to Go. Since I got the Curve 8330 , I fell in love with the best ever smartphone I had.
My prep method is simple. I use the Excel .Major concepts go to column A , Sub concept go to B and the examples in the life of the abnormal clients to to column C.I use different colors and font size to each column.
when i am done , after 2 expresso Machiato, I sent it to my class Email (SwPsy101@yahoo.com).
I drive to the class and all I have to do is to open the class notes from the class computer and project it directly to the class without any need for editing or change.Doc To Go was a life style changer for me.
it is so much more exciting to do the Class Prep in our great Starbucks , with the Blond yentells, dogs , conversations, noises, and neighborhood atmosphere. No offense to anyone , but when you go to our faculty room for prep all you see is this achnee ridden nerd professor .

thanks
Dr. Robby

... I could REALLY use a FREE copy of DTG for my new BB Storm (when I get it!)

Posted by msblueline Friday, Nov 14, 2008 1286 days ago

I am a DUI Enforcement Officer and would love these for writing documents and making power point slides about DUI awareness and how driving under the influence can kill.

(Alcohol - [beer, wine, liquor, etc], medicine's - [prescription or over the counter], drugs - [marijuana, crack, cocaine, meth, etc], or anything that causes one's ability to be impaired while driving)

Almost everyone I have come into contact with has the thought that they will not be the one to either get killed or the one who will kill someone.

It only takes "one" time.

Driving Under the Influence (DUI) kills people.

Using the Power Point would be awsome because I can take pictures of certain crash scenes I goto (not the victims). I could use them in a power point to make a slide to show how dangerous it really is.

The XLS is great for keeping track and helping keep certain files sorted.

The PDF would be great in creating an email to send out for for awareness while on the go... who needs a computer when you have a Blackberry...

Remember, when on Crackberry while driving, you are considered under the influence. You are not paying attention to what you are doing... Please be Berry safe...

All in all it would be a great package to have.

I would love to win a copy of this software so I can use it on the Blackberry Storm I plan on owning next week when it is released. I currently have a Curve through work with OS 4.5 and the standard Doc's To Go with Word and Powerpoint.

Posted by matanderin Friday, Nov 14, 2008 1286 days ago

I've used every version of this since my first Palm Pilot back in the day. It's terrific for a teacher, who doesn't always have access to his home computer while at work. It's not perfect, but it's the best way to read your documents!

Documents To Go Premium will tremendously help me to be more efficient with projects for work and also give me more opportunities to complete my school work.

I hope that win a copy. :-)

Well, I am a consultant for a financial systems software company. Many times I receive excel, powerpoint or word docs during and after implementation where I need to review the data and make changes if necessary. I currently use a Motorola Q and have won the $100 in the storm hunt towards a new storm from verizon. On my moto Q, I can only view the reports, then I need to be able to find a wifi spot, open my laptop and hopefully connect to get the e-mail, make changes and send back. Most times, I am in an airport where you need to pay for wifi and I can't justify paying for wifi for only 5, 10 or 15 minutes of use. Sometimes I don't have enough time to pull out my laptop and do my job until hours and hours later when I get home to my network or to a hotel I am staying at. Docs to go on my new storm would definitely make me more productive and help me out in a pinch when needed.

This would also make my transition from Win Mobile to BB that much sweeter!

I've been using the product since the days of my Palm 650. It is absolutly an essential for me.
I have never had a chance to see the p-remium in action, but would love the opportunity.

I've been using the trial for DocstoGo and love the fact that it works. Saving a document doesn't destroy the document like eOffice likes to corrupt the file. Would love to win this contest.

I am a long-time user of Documents to go. I am really looking forward to using it on my Storm!!! As an accountant, having the ability to create and edit Excel files on the go has really helped me be more efficient and productive.

I highly recommend it!

Posted by technoboyjl Friday, Nov 14, 2008 1286 days ago

This would rock, it would save me so much time, right now when I need to submit anything to my boss at work I have to come home and edit on my computer and then email it. With this I could simply edit or create the document on the fly and get it off to my boss ASAP... it would make me shine in his eyes....

gotta win this!!!!

Go Documents to GO!

I likey me some Documents-to-go. I could really use them for my work on the go. Seems like I am traveling more and more for work all the time.

Posted by sc13 Friday, Nov 14, 2008 1286 days ago

I just got a bright, shiny new Bold and it has the "basic" version of Documents To Go, which allows viewing and some editing, but I would love to get the full version. Way back in the day, when I used a Palm (before they put the "crack" in "crackberry"), I had a version of DTG and I loved it. This premium edition would make a nice addition to new device, and give me even more reasons to leave the laptop at home. (And if it can save me the hassle of the old, laborious airport "pull the PC out of the bag through security," that's worth the price of admission right there!)

Posted by kravawave Friday, Nov 14, 2008 1286 days ago

I've always wanted this app but it's a little outta my price range. It would make my life so much easier!! PLEASEEEEE give me one!

Docs to Go is a a program I have used extensively on Palm devices for years. It has always been extremely useful to me, especially at work where I use spreadsheets to schedule my printing presses.
Here's my next project though- I am writing a book, and it is a personal goal of mine to write it entirely on a mobile device! Let's just see if this is possible with Suretype and my BB with Word to Go...

I could definitely use this for my Crackberry. Being on the go in NYC means buses and trains, but the MTA site only puts maps and schedules in .pdf format. I can die happy with this program lol.

If I win one of those "Docs2go" packages then I will do the following:
Seek out all the bad evil morons in this world and exterminate them. Bring all our troops home immediately from Iraq and Afganistan and elswhere in the world. Stop spending our tax dollars in other countries-we need help here! Eliminate the likes of Bin Laden immediatley with the "death ray". he he. Start working on our infrastructure here in the USA-rebuild roads, bridges, railways in order to regain our might in this world. Of course all this I would document with "docs2go". And with the PDF viewer you will SEE the photo shots of all the evil that will be wiped out. ha.
By the way, as a side note, I have some nice swamp land available cheap from Florida-any buyers? And also a couple of bridges for sale in Manhatten-better yet I will sell all or part of Manhatten . haha
CHees, I can dream can't I?

It's a no brainer that being able to edit, create, and open office documents on the blackberry will make the blackberry the only choice for smartphone purchases. No reason to buy a windows mobile device ever.

Having the Premium edition will allow me to do more on the go. Why be tied down to my desk? The sooner I can fire off a response to a document or create a document that is needed to secure a deal, the sooner I get back to enjoying life.

Posted by mjmillman Friday, Nov 14, 2008 1286 days ago

Well, beyond the basics of telling everyone how Docs To Go will of course help me be more productive with my Blackberry Curve. It will do two (2) very important things.

1) It gives me a wonderful excuse (opps, reason) to explain to my wife why I need to purchase the Storm. I mean you don't get the premium edition and keep an older Blackberry.

2) And of course another great reason is the ability to edit my comments for Crackberry.com!!! I can do them in Word To Go and then cut and paste them right to the Crackberry Forums!!!

Posted by haroon.choudery Friday, Nov 14, 2008 1286 days ago

Hello Crackberry, my name is Haroon. I really need Docs to Go Premium because I am a sophomore in high school and I am burdened with homework and different types of assignments EVERY DAY! I am hoping to pursue a career as a lawyer, so I am taking two college level courses already to prepare myself. I have a Blackberry Curve, which I love to death. I use it from the time I wake up to the time I go to sleep. I will continue using a Blackberry for the rest of my life. I really need Docs to Go Premium because I have no other way to pay for it. I don't have a job because I just turned 15 and I am too busy with sports (soccer, wrestling, and tennis) and especially homework. I would love to have Docs to Go Premium because it would help me stay updated on my homework assignments even when I'm not home, and I use Microsoft Office almost every day of my life. I cannot stick with Docs to Go Basic because it lacks soooooo many features and I get less than 6 hours of sleep when I had to travel and have to finish the assignment when I go home. PLEASE CRACKBERRY, I REALLY, REALLY DESPERATELY NEED DOCS TO GO PREMIUM!

VIVA LA CRACKBERRY!!!

I really could use the PDF add-on. I get tons of emails with PDF attachments and the current built-in option sucks for viewing them.

Thanks for the contest.

LOVE Docs to Go, but I can't see ponying up that kind of money for what amounts, in my case, to casual use.

Posted by jferguson87 Friday, Nov 14, 2008 1286 days ago

Documents To Go will help me because I can really be on top with school and work.

I don't have to worry about lugging around a computer all the time to use one of those programs, I just whip out my phone, make the changes I need, and off I go.

Posted by daole Friday, Nov 14, 2008 1286 days ago

I'm one of those people that migrated from the PALM Treo to the Blackberry Curve because quite frankly the Treo fell behind in terms of, well everything. I used Documents to Go on the PALM and was estatic when it finally came to my Curve with the new OS 4.5 release. But to my chagrin, it was a dummied down version, and I was not willing to shell out $99 to upgrade. Winning a copy of the premium edition would finally bring me closer to being able to do what I could with Documents on PALM. PLEASE pick me.

Documents to Go will make my life so much easier by making me unattached to my laptop. I will be able to send documents via Bluetooth to my Pearl and edit the doc on the go right before the meeting.

Life would be great!

Especially going into college as a Musical Theatre Major. Documents will definitely need to be at my side..

Crosses fingers!

I have used Excel and Powerpoint on regular basis for work (as I teach sign language at two colleges). I am able to show the sign languages on Powerpoint slides on my BB. When Docs To Go added PDF, I'm thrilled as I know I'll be using it on regular basis as well! I haven't won anything in CB yet so having this program would be awesome for me, especially for work purpose as I can just plug in my BB to a pc and be able to do all of those documents, especially pdf. I plan on switching to BB 8900 once it hits Canada or the US.

I've been waiting for OS 4.5 for quite some time, and I'm not much of a beta OS person. I know that OS 4.5 has Docs2Go but only the standard without the great features and the PDF To Go option. Most of my classes use PDF files, so this would definitely help. I also carry around a lot of books and a laptop to type things up, so having the Premium Docs To Go would literally take a load off my back, and allow me to carry around lots of study materials without being weighed down.

Good luck everyone!

I used Docs to Go back in the palm days, and it was pretty good, I am excited to see what it can do on the Blackberry. (If my bold ever comes out of backorder hell from Rogers!)

Posted by ccallsen Friday, Nov 14, 2008 1286 days ago

Well...how can any self respecting mobile professional not desire the premium goodness of DTG? Nothing better than being able to read and edit (or perhaps read and ignore) that latest memo. Develop that new spreadsheet demonstrating your incredible contribution to the company? Look at the latest endless 'death by powerpoint' presentation. Seriously though...it is a great tool, even better in premium and in today's world, you've got to have the PDF support!

Documents to go allows me to mix business with pleasure.

As a freelance tour manager I'm constantly on the go but can't always have my laptop by my side.

Documents to Go allows me to personalize my resume, complete paperwork and create new documents in places I previously had to reserve for pleasure time. Now I can get out,see the world and have fun without worrying whether or not I'll need to do paperwork and if I see a job I'd like to bid on I can personalize my resume and submit a bid.

Documents to Go gives me more ME time when I need it most.

I teach Business Education at the HS level. This would not only help me to be more productive at my job, being able to edit documents on the go, but it could potentially help me lure hundreds of impressionable young minds to the Crackberry Nation once they see how cool it is running on my Blackberry Curve!

I'm a university student in Toronto. I spend on average about 2-3 hours per day commuting from home to school. I would love to be able to spend that time working on assignments, and this program will help me to do that.

I'd love to have this! I use the word and powerpoint preview all the time!

With this add-on I will be able to leave my lap top in the office when I travel.

It would make me more productive by avoiding getting yelled at by my wife for spending another $60 on my Blackberry. She just doesn't get it ;)

I used Docs to Go all the time on my Palm TX. I could really use it for my Curve now that I'm exclusively on it.

A PDF reader for my CrackBerry!

Posted by tjgrey Friday, Nov 14, 2008 1286 days ago

Docs to Go is an absolute necessity for me- With multiple work email addresses on separate employer accounts, and the Word, Excel and PDFs that fly through constantly, I need a program that can handle this on the go!

As a recent convert to Blackberry, and a Bold user to boot, DocsToGo Premium would let me get rid of my laptop and only use my Bold for everything I do all day with clients. This would be great!

With all my work as an IT Professional in a University setting this would make my life so much easier...

If I can view and edit all types of documents on my new BOLD, I won't even need a freaking computer anymore!

I would love to win a copy. Documents to go + my new Storm (fingers crossed) would be killer.

Posted by DJManos Friday, Nov 14, 2008 1286 days ago

I have used Docs to Go in the past at work to help me manage several large spreadsheets and power point presentations. Using this app allows me to "unchain" myself from desk and to have information at my fingertips that I would otherwise not have access to!

Wow, I'm getting my new Blackberry Storm next week when Verizon rolls it out. I can't even tell you how excited I am to have a better way to open up documents that my clients and my company sends me. Right now, I have an 8830, which I love, but it's fairly inefficient when working with attachments that clients send me. I'm an outside sales rep and I sell digital imaging equipment. It looks like the Storm is going to come with Docs To Go, but I will need to upgrade to the Premium version so that I can also work with .pdf files.

Well, I don't know if I'll be lucky enough to be one of the 5 people chosen to get a free version, but I will be getting this software either way. With the fun economy that we're in, free is always my favorite option though. lol. Thanks for your time and have a great day.

would love to have a copy of this!!

Posted by HardHatMack Friday, Nov 14, 2008 1286 days ago

I have the standard version and use it all the time. The premium version would really be a bonus for me!

Posted by Toups Friday, Nov 14, 2008 1286 days ago

I usually stay away from entering the contest just to try to get something for free, however this is truly one I could use. I often travel to the Virgin Islands and other small island countries and often times (75% or more) find myself with no coverage indoors and usually limited coverage outdoors. That said, the best part of this package is definitely the PDF component as I keep about 500mb of PDF on a usb drive that I would much rather have access to use via my BB than spending time hunting down an accessible PC.

Best of luck to everyone in the contest!

As new to BlackBerry (and Bold) owner, I could definitely use this. I just came from 6 years of using nothing but Windows Mobile devices and am missing some of the functionality I had with Mobile Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

I have been navigating this webpage for a while now, however this is my first posting. I would LOVE to have the premium version of Docs to Go. The trial is great and has already proven to be useful with my job, so I could only imagine how much more productive I would be with the premium version. ;) (good?)

Posted by karier13 Friday, Nov 14, 2008 1286 days ago

I have used these pograms before and they are great. If I could have afforded to get them alrready I would have. Being able to open these types of documents is really good but being able to open a NEW doc, excel spreadsheet, etc would be the best. That would make the Bold even better and it is already a fantastic phone. There are a lot of times that I can't use my laptop (like at work) and having those programs would make my day so much easier.

As a hotel manager, I am constantly away from my desk and I am always recieveing budget updates, labor spreads, schedules, forecasting info/requests, and P&L queries. To have something that could enable me to edit and create spreadsheet and word docs and achieve faster turnaround times would be incredible. Being free from having to sit at my desktop would be liberating. I'm sure that once I showed the tool to my associates, they would want to have it too.
